As a landlord, my experience with this company has been extremely disappointing.

Throughout the tenancy, rent payments have been consistently late, with arrears often reaching up to two months at a time sometimes more. Chasing payment has become a regular occurrence rather than an exception.

Communication has been equally frustrating. Emails frequently go unanswered, and it is extremely difficult to get a response or speak to anyone who can provide meaningful updates regarding overdue payments.

What concerns me most is the apparent lack of transparency and accountability. When rent is not paid on time and communication is virtually non-existent, it places landlords in a very difficult position financially and operationally.

I have also reviewed publicly available information regarding the company and have concerns about its financial position. While others should carry out their own due diligence, I would strongly encourage landlords and property owners to research the company thoroughly before entering into any agreement and get a specialist solicitor to check your contract before you sign as its extremely biased.

Based on my experience, I would not choose to work with this company again and would advise others to proceed with caution.

I moved into an address recently. The tenancy agreement was issued by Altwood Properties and signed over six weeks ago. Before occupancy, several disrepair issues existed but I was cornered into accepting the property because of housing regulations. Much to my surprise, the company have refused to rectify the serious issues despite several attempts via email notifications. Their website post boasts of resolving issues for property owners (false advertising is illegal). If in doubt please read their URL a screenshot is also saved as proof.
They are insisting that contractual obligations are one way only - how ludicrous.
Since occupancy, there has been no hot water supply because of a leaking outdated boiler (the cost of using that boiler is unimaginable), the intercom doesn't work, the kitchen cooker is non functional and causes all electricity to go off when switched on. But hey! Who am I? I'm just a black woman who must shut up and put up while ensuring that they receive full rent payments on time in the designated bank account. Worse, they have also refused to provide the Landlord's details even though this is obligatory and backed by case law.
