Do not recommend, AT ALL! Sent my computer for repair, had it for 2 months, only to tell me that the computer has no issues when it goes completely dead at times for 2/3 days. Now my warranty has expired and I am left with a computer that is a vegetable.

1 star is too generous, completely unprofessional!!
What a disaster at Amac Amsterdam. I ordered a MacBook Air here, and everything went wrong from the very beginning.
They entered my email address incorrectly, even though I spelled it out clearly three times. As a result, I didn’t receive a receipt which I urgently needed and specifically asked for. This careless mistake ended up costing me money. No solution.
Then I was told over the phone that the laptop arrived. One of the staff even checked the stockroom and confirmed it was there. Based on that, I made the trip to the store only to be told the laptop wasn’t there at all. Suddenly, no one knew anything about the call. No responsibility, no explanation, just shrugged shoulders and "we don’t know, we make mistakes."
I made it clear multiple times that I needed the laptop before Friday. That was completely ignored. Nobody knows where the product is now or when it will arrive. It seems like there’s zero internal communication like every employee is operating in their own bubble.
In short: terrible communication, no ownership, no service, no respect for the customer. You’d expect a premium Apple reseller to act with professionalism and reliability but Amac is the exact opposite. Ordering here feels more like buying tech at a flea market.
Avoid this store if you care about clear agreements!

I was misled about the coverage and encountered several issues during the claims process. As a result, I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering this insurance option. We are still in discussion about a claim from Oktober. Now it is january. I wasted a lot of time and money on this.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Amac for their exceptional service but advise caution when considering the Harmony insurance policy. You are better helped by putting the monthly amount by side and fixing the issue yourself.

Absolutely the worse. I brought my computer here to repair, it has been more than 5 weeks by now. The first moment they said it would take 1-2 weeks. Having waited that time, I go back to the shop and the answer is oh sorry my colleague made a mistake, actually it’s 2-3 weeks, and okay. After asking again they said that the insurance didn’t agree. Call the insurance and they said they already agreed, so again back in the store and ‘ah yes sorry we saw now’ and okay. The fourth week nothing, so I go ask again: reparation didn’t start because they are waiting on parts (Apple has the parts and was ready to repair it, so I don’t get how this premium reseller doesn’t have it or need to wait for weeks). So to my question on when the parts will get there the answer was for two more weeks that they don’t know. I asked them to fill up a complain to speed up the process and no I had to do it by myself. So at the end of the 5th week I got each week a different reply saying that I would get it the same week, or the next, but no help or info on where the laptop is and when it will be repaired. To add to this absurd situation in which your laptop is stuck nowhere for who knows how long (and literally, amac does not give a damn, you won’t find answers in their shop, in their call center or anything just because they won’t disclose them with you), there is the pointless talk with employees that seem to be there to mislead you on reparation times so for you to wait longer and even more ridiculous screaming manager that allude to your intelligence, but we are really talking about the pick of professionalism here. To the question on whether I would be able to get a replacement (years ago it was possible by amac to get a replacement if they don’t have the parts ready) (and I even asked if I could pay the difference) the employers said first they could not decide in the shop, afterwards the very professional manager said he could change it for me but that he was simply not going to do it, even if I had to wait one year for the parts to come (which by the way it is still possible according to them, even if you have guaranty). So basically they do have the power to fill up a complain and/or and help you change the product in the shop (note that the damage was set for 1080euro and a new laptop is 1100/1200), but they will just lie to you if you don’t ask multiple times and say that it’s not up to them and they have no info. This not to talk about the fact that ( apparently) I am stupid according to the manager (I swear it was difficult not to laugh during this enchanting conversation). So not only the amac as a company, but even the employers and their policy is real bad. Do a favor to yourself and go straight to Apple for their products, much more professional, faster and transparent. Avoid Amac as much as you can. And if you really need to go to an Amac my advise is not to step in the one next to the Amsterdam station at least, to not having a computer back is one thing but to be even having to talk with someone so rude and unprofessional in the shop is at another level.
