Worst costumer service i ever…

Absolutely terrible experience with…

Absolutely terrible experience with Amazon.de. I made a completely normal purchase, the order was dispatched, and then my account suddenly got locked for “security reasons.” I no longer have access to an old phone number, so I tried contacting support, only to get stuck with broken recovery systems and support agents who couldn’t even locate the correct account despite me having valid order confirmations and order numbers.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I’m a long-time customer with over 50 orders placed in recent months, and I had already completed identity verification previously. Despite that, their automated systems still flagged the account and left me completely locked out.

I spent hours dealing with confusing support, repeated verification questions, and contradictory information from different agents. Customers should not have to fight through this much chaos just to access an account after making a legitimate purchase. Extremely stressful and disappointing experience. Won't be using this platform again.

Really bad

I have been using Amazon.de for about 3 years. About half the time I order something there is a problem. I receive used clothing items advertised as new, arriving without tags and even an item that had been put through someone's washer & dryer, which made it shrink and look misshapen. Items are often late, and the Airmee delivery service that is often used is terrible. The website has also been overrun with Chinese dropshipping sellers, advertising items you would find on Temu or Alibaba, at inflated prices. I also won't buy beauty or self care products on Amazon anymore because you can't be sure if it is a genuine product, or if you will receive something that has already been opened. Amazon also commingles inventory, so if there are counterfeit items in the stockpile, even if you order directly from Amazon, you take the chance of getting a fake. It's been a completely awful and frustrating experience, if you don't have to use this website out of necessity, it is much better to buy the items you want from a local shop.

Title:Absolutely unreliable – packages are constantly thrown “somewhere” and marked as delivered! Amazon is the worst company ever!!!!!!!!!!!

We are the Schindler family from Aue and we are really, really furious!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is now the 10th time in a short period that Amazon has not delivered our package to the front door as agreed, but instead dumped it somewhere in the area – in some random shed or wherever – and then simply marked it as “delivered”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The package was nowhere to be found! Not at the agreed location, not in the shed, not with the neighbors – just gone. We searched for hours, asked the neighbors, checked everywhere. Nothing. The money is gone, the goods are gone, and Amazon acts like everything is perfectly fine.
We have complained about this multiple times already, but nothing changes. The drivers don’t seem to give a damn where they throw the packages, as long as the app says “delivered”. This is no longer a delivery service – this is pure negligence!
We are a normal family and we no longer want to constantly have to call, investigate and waste our time just because Amazon has no control over its logistics.
Conclusion: Shops like Amazon should be strictly avoided! There are enough other stores that deliver reliably and take their customers seriously. Amazon will soon be blocked for us too. Hopefully more and more customers will do the same! Absolute garbage company!!!!!!!!!

Wir sind die Familie Schindler aus Aue und wir sind richtig, richtig sauer!!!!!!!!!!!!
Das ist jetzt schon das 10 mal in kurzer Zeit, dass Amazon unser Paket nicht wie vereinbart an der Haustüre ablegt, sondern irgendwo in der Gegend „irgendwelchen Schuppen“ oder sonst wo hinlegt und dann einfach als „zugestellt“ markiert hat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Das Paket war nirgends zu finden! Nicht am vereinbarten Ort, nicht im Schuppen, nicht beim Nachbarn , einfach weg. Wir haben Stundenlang gesucht, Nachbarn gefragt, alles abgesucht. Nichts. Das Geld ist weg, die Ware ist weg und Amazon tut so, als wäre alles in bester Ordnung.
Wir haben das schon mehrfach reklamiert, aber es ändert sich gar nichts. Die Fahrer scheinen sich einen Dreck darum zu scheren, wo sie die Pakete hinknallen, Hauptsache die App sagt „zugestellt“. Das ist keine Lieferung mehr, das ist Fahrlässigkeit!
Wir sind eine ganz normale Familie und haben keine Lust mehr, ständig hinterherzutelefonieren, Nachforschungen anzustellen und unsere Zeit zu verschwenden, nur weil Amazon seine Logistik nicht im Griff hat.
Fazit: Solche Läden wie Amazon sollte man konsequent meiden! Es gibt genug andere Shops, die zuverlässig liefern und ihre Kunden ernst nehmen. Bei uns wird Amazon auch bald gesperrt. Hoffentlich machen das immer mehr Kunden! Drecksverein!!!!!!!!!

incompetent and ignorant customer service

I am appalled by the incompetence of Amazon.de customer service. I returned my item strictly following all of Amazon's instructions. However, the package was sent back to me without any explanation or reason.I have contacted customer service 5 times, providing the tracking number and clear proof of shipment every single time. Instead of investigating why the return was rejected, I kept receiving scripted, robotic responses asking me to send the same proof over and over again. Now, they have stopped responding to my emails altogether.There has been no explanation, no apology, and they keep demanding that I ship the item again at my own expense/trouble while ignoring the facts and evidence I’ve already provided. This is the most disgusting and unprofessional service I have ever encountered. They simply do not listen to the customer.

Can I give minus points

Can I give minus points? I bought a product 31.march, got it for 126,-Euro - found out it didn't work, returned it and got 100,80 in return.

WHY, Amazon.de, why?
You knew from the start that it didn't work, but you're earning money on sending har dead product. How can you do this? You're registered in Luxemburg, not som us-state without warranties, this can't be true, really????

After many years as a customer; never again

I’ve actually had good experiences with Amazon.uk and Amazon.de over the years, but after my latest experience, I suddenly understand their Trustpilot score!

The short version: I bought the LOTR Deluxe Illustrated Edition, and they all arrived damaged. I bought the books on sale using a voucher and my Amazon credit, so I got them for a steal. Customer service won’t exchange the books - using the excuse that they’re out of stock - but at the same time says I can return them, get a refund, and then I can buy them again (for double the price I paid, since I apparently won’t get my Amazon credit refunded that was used on the order). When I go to the website, the exact same product is still in stock with delivery in 2 days.

I’ve complained about this to seven different people via numerous emails to customer service - because I want my books exchanged just like any other physical or online store would do! But I’m no longer getting any response from them, even though they usually reply within 30 minutes. Same result with the chat.

I’ll never buy anything from Amazon again. Besides, I don’t understand why they send books in a oversized cardboard box where they can just roll around during shipping. When I’ve bought books from other places, they’ve always been properly protected against damage, but not with Amazon. Just like their customer service, it seems they’ve cut corners there too.

And yet we are part of Europe

 we had an issue, trying to set up a new delivery address in Vienna Austria. The country doesn’t come up in the Alphabethical country list when you scroll down it’s not listed under Austria nor Österreich and the ZIP Code for Vienna, which is 1010 is not accepted. The  moron who designed this should be fired.

Multiple promises, no solution

I have been an Amazon customer for over 15 years and have spent thousands of euros there.
Unfortunately, my recent experience over the past 2 months has been extremely disappointing.
I contacted customer support more than 5 times regarding a problem with an incomplete product.
Each time I was given different promised solutions (including partial refunds), but none of them were ever implemented.
In the end, I was simply told to return the product instead of being offered a reasonable solution.
This is not how you treat long-term customers. Very disappointing.

Very late delivery at nighttime

The delivery is often buzzing my door and ringing my phone around 23.00 late at night. I tried to contact customer services at Amazon but you can only get chatrobot with no clue about anything. It’s a pity because I have been enjoying good products and great delivery for many years now. Please fix. My good nights sleep is priority over shopping habits.

I ordered an item from Amazon.de

I ordered an item from Amazon.de, and it actually arrived very quickly. However, a small screw was missing from a battery cover.

They asked me to write a review of the product, which I did. In the review, I mentioned that a screw was missing from the product. Now I’ve been told that they will not publish my review because they do not consider it relevant.

It’s honestly quite embarrassing to see that they are unwilling to take responsibility, even for such small issues.

Delivery issues

While it’s a great place for quick purchases, one thing really annoys me—you’re pushed to spend at least €20 to qualify for delivery within a certain time window. I can’t count how many times items weren’t delivered as promised, and to me it feels like a scam.

Sometimes I add extra items just to reach €20—things I don’t actually need from Amazon and could buy cheaper at a local shop—just so I can get other necessary items on time. And then what happens? “Oops, it won’t be delivered.”

I understand that delays can happen, but in that case, they should remove this kind of service entirely instead of constantly disappointing customers.

Customer service with no service

Ordered a cat wheel and it was delivered within an okay time frame.
Unfortunately after only a couple of months one of the rollers broke.
I contacted Amazon.de who offered me to return the wheel, but since it's a big and heavy parcel I asked for a replacement roller to repair it instead.
They provided me with details of the manufacturer or that's what they said, but it turned out that the company I had been given the contact details for , were not the manufacturer of this specific wheel.
When I wrote another e-mai to Amazon.de about this, I didn't hear anything back for over a month, which turned out to be because their answer had landed in my spam folder (my bad) not that it had helped me anything anyway as their reply was that the e-mail address is an no-answer e-mail, although we had been writing back and forth to and from that exact e-mail address several times before that.
Instead the mail said to use:
amazon.de /help
This means I would/will have to start all over.
Where's the help and service in that?

Extremely disappointing experience – unacceptable for a company like Amazon

I’m writing this on behalf of my sister, who had a very frustrating and disappointing experience trying to purchase a simple €1000 MacBook.
She had been looking forward to buying it for quite some time, and what should have been a straightforward purchase turned into a stressful and negative experience. Payments via DSK and Revolut were declined without clear explanation, she was asked to go through ID verification, and even after support apologized and confirmed there had been a mistake, her account was restricted again to digital purchases only.
This kind of inconsistency and lack of clear process is unacceptable, especially for a company of Amazon’s scale. Instead of a smooth purchase, it turned into days of uncertainty and wasted time.
What’s worse is that this didn’t just cause inconvenience — it genuinely affected her emotionally. Something she was excited about became frustrating and discouraging.
This experience has completely destroyed our trust in Amazon. We will be looking elsewhere in the future and will not recommend this platform to others.

Amazon.de Experience

I've ordered a new Apple iPhone from amazon.de. The item was not delivered.
I had to wait a month after the original order date to be able to talk to a real person about the issue. There was no trcking information on the site.
I had 4 sessions with different support assosiates. The first asked me to check with the post office in Croatia (I'm based in Bulgaria). The second asked me to submit an incident report, but didn't provide the email address. Support persons 3 and 4 provided different receiving email addresses for the report.

I'm still waiting for a refund (1,5 months after the order)

After the experience I won't order from this site again.
