Please save yourself the hassle. tldr; the car was broken, the warranty was bullshit, i'm down £300.

I'm amenable, and take people at their word. I've never purchased a car from a dealer but I thought i'd take the chance (i've purchased like 15 cars off ebay from private sellers).

I brought a cheap Porsche from this guy, yes it was rough and had some problems but that was ok, we agreed on some conditions:

- I'd be able to drive it for a 'fair' amount of time
- It'd have an MOT

It took the guy longer than he promised to prepare the vehicle; not a problem but clearer communication would have been preferred. We all have busy lives to lead.

I got there eventually after a hurried phone call of "when are you gonna pick this up" again - bad comms.

I was rushed to come to this guys yard to pick up the car that was blocked in and all the cars had to be moved so I could get it out. A few of the problems had been sorted, but most still were present - again, I was in the mindset of; this is a fancy car, things need to be sorted, its cheap - no worries.

We had a verbal agreement regarding his "3 month warranty", he tried to downplay it through the car window as I was driving off, we agreed on - if the car's engine or gearbox shits its pants during that 3 months - it's covered.

I had driven 16 miles (literally) - the serpentine belt snapped, it took out a bunch of the component's of the engine.

I thought, fine there is warranty, I called the guy and got told to shh i'll call you back, i'm with a customer.

30 minutes later we had a call, he was condescending in his telling me to calm down, what use is it for me to deal with this? So I had to deal with the tow (with my breakdown cover).

It took 2 days to get the car back to his yard - and the second it arrived I called and the arguments began about the deposit. It's not a huge amount but it's a deposit for a working car and this guy fought for every penny.

I knew he was acting in a shit way because he was asking me to send him a message agreeing to the amount of refund minus the deposit and if I didn't do that - then I would not get my refund.

I appreciate it's a big old complex german luxury car - but then why offer a warranty?

Real bad experience here, not worth it - I filled the tank £150 i got a third of the deposit back - so down another £200, I was promised another £50 in good faith in a voice note and a screenshot showing how his online banking had failed to send, the voice note assured me that it would still come as it was the right thing to do - still nothing.

It's just kinda shit and scammy as a service. Don't bother.

Please be warned not to use this company. They sell death traps and should be shut down. If you have any bad dealings with them, please complain to trading standards. Hopefully if enough people complain they will be shut down. They are a disgrace.

Rang Malik to arrange viewing of Ford Mondeo “ AUTOMATIC”. Yes come up no problem. Drive 2.5 hours on Sunday 21st November only to find it was actually a manual gearbox. He actually had the audacity to say “ oh yeah, your about the 15th person who’s had that problem. I said change the damned advert then to which he says he doesn’t have the authority to do. Don’t be fooled by the lovely backdrop of the eBay photo’s. The place looks like a scrap yard with a tiny little “office” on the side . Would never deal with these clowns again, didn’t even have the decency to apologise for our wasted journey ** AVOID ** bunch of chancers 😡🤬

I have been trying to contact this company daily for the past 2 weeks, trying to cancel my order but they do not reply. All they have is a useless messaging system on their site.

I will continue messaging them until I get a reply, trying in English and German.

I have only had a positive experience with this company after 15 or so orders. All delivered perfectly.

I ordered my parts online and paid in advance. But later on I realized I will be away for vacation. I asked the company to hold on with sending the shipment until exact date, which they did perfectly. The shipment arrived very fast and in great condition, and at time I asked for.

2 orders placed both orders took a month to supply.
Second order arrived damaged.
Repeated emails with photos to AMB Trade NO REPLY!!
I was happy with service i.e. obtaining parts but customer service poor to non existent.
Will have to contact credit card company to get my money back. Pity!!

After searching for a couple of months finally found what I was looking for and I ordered for my Chevrolet Cruze and I got what I ordered. Parts are made in Germany and made in Austria whit is the best quality parts. This days I'm gonna replace them. Happy again !!! Thank you AMB-Trade, you make my day.

I ordered parts and after two weeks, the replacement part was not sent and they do not respond to email me. Now I have to get my money back.

Update!
Car parts arrived a month late.

Ordered on 2nd August and didn't arrive till 15th Sept. He part was for a subaru so I expected it to take maybe 3 weeks max. I had chase the company for updates. Won't use again.
