Because these alignment canes can be folded in half when assembled to their full length, they don't sit straight- there is a slight kink due to the design of the sleeve in the mid section. I originally went in to purchase the full length alignment rod, but my local store did not stock them and they recommended these collapsible ones and said that they are a suitable alternative. I was advised to purchase these. The build quality isn't great in that the protective ends easily break and come off. This led to the elastic cord that keeps the two canes together snapping so now I am left with two 'mini' canes. I am very disappointed in this product because what they are used for - alignment – they aren't straight.The benefits are that they can be folded and put into your golf bag- but as they don't sit straight so defeats the object for what they need to be used for. Would not recommend and I definitely would not purchase these again. Good company but these rods aren't great. Wish they had the one piece version in stock.
