Their payment plans are awesome and zero hassle, and the return policy is “Costco-level” easy! They usually have a little wiggle room if you call them up too! ;)

I’ve been buying from AMS for 8 years now. I’ve gotten my entire set-up from these guys. Speakers, CDJ’s, stands, midi hubs, turntables, guitar, mixers, everything. All my equipment that I wouldn’t have been able to get otherwise. At a time when my credit was non existent. Their delivery times are very fast within 2-3 days. Customer service is always on the ball and state side. If you need to have music in your life in one form or another. Hit these guys up. Check out the deals. There are other good companies out there I’m sure. But these guys have me coming back over and over.

I always appreciate Glenn W reaching out to me every so often to make sure that I’m good with my previous orders and to see if I need any assistance with a new order . Even if there is an issue , he is extremely helpful in guiding me to an above satisfactory solution .

I've ordered from here a couple times and they've been wonderful and so helpful. The keyboards were perfect, arrived safely and on time and their site makes it so easy to do everything. I will only shop here for all my musical needs especially since my grandchildren seem to have inherited that gene lol. The payment plans make it much easier to get better quality equipment for them and I'm definitely grateful!

After a divorce and several losses in the immediate family, there wasn't anything that would bring back into the land of the living except music. I had just moved and had ZERO capital to build anything with. With the help of the professionals at AMS I was quickly to work not only with instrument/gig rig, but with a full blown studio. Easy payment plans on all of the Top Shelf gear. Easy Returns on the few (VERY few) things that weren't up to snuff. Best of all, a courteous staff in every department. As each item was paid, an "Attaboy" call from my area supervisor. He asked me how my project was going (He actually remembered the name of it) and left an "open door" to discuss the gear needs for the next step. A breath of fresh air in this industry. Soon everyone will be copying their business model but only one will be American Musical Supply.

Today im receiving my 4th guitar from AMS and every delivery has been quick and everything is always packaged properly and being able to make payments really makes getting nice high end equipment doable for a regular everyday dude so I appreciate this company and they're easy to talk too

Highly recommend AMS, they have
1- a great selection and big brand names.
2- payment plans with no credit check.
3- The gold standard for shipping speeds often free 2 day.
So with all that why wouldn't someone give them their business? Sweetwater another great retailer really tries to drum up business and I told Caleb you know you don't get my business because I got turned down for a credit line yet AMS gives me affordable payment plans which is no different than credit line your just using a credit card for payments and guitar center gave me a gear card. I will go to AMS first but if they don't have it I usually go directly to guitar center. GC has the best prices on used gear often 20 to 30% lower than everywhere else, a joyo bantamp was $119 everywhere else $150+ and in rough shape, I bought a used katana gen 3 head for $450 and it looked litterly new everywhere else pushing $500, their shipping is pretty good but nothing like AMS, in all actuality sweetwater has the slowest shipping they could learn something from AMS everywhere, having a guy call you and say hey it's so n so from SW I'm your sales guy rep like he wants to be my buddy and help me out, sounds great but he's just telemarketing me with the just a regular guy good buddy angle, I'm not that gullible it's obvious.

Stop dealing with Fed Ex. Never on time . I spend to much money and not have my products show up when they are supposed to show up. Stop dealing with Fed Ex
