My father ordered a stair lift from this company when my mother was in the ICU getting treatment. She was having difficulty going up and down stairs before going to the hospital. The lift was delivered while my mother was in the ICU getting treatments and unfortunately she ended up passing away a week later. We called this company for a return and to get a refund, but they flat out refused. They would not allow us to return the lift without paying 4X the cost of shipping and an exorbitant, ridiculous restocking fee that would have cost the same as buying the lift outright. Their excuse was to blame the installer, saying the installation was already scheduled (it was not) and they couldn’t break their terms with their (3rd party) installer. Now we are stuck with an expensive chair lift that no one needs. I would be very cautious doing business with this company and I would not recommend them based on our experience. I would give zero stars if I could.

I installed a Rave 2 stairlift yesterday. It arrived well packed and with all of the needed parts. It took less than 3 hours for the installation. If you are reasonably handy you can easily do it. Make sure to have all the recommended tools on hand, including the extension bit for your drill/driver. I would also recommend a rubber hammer. Be sure to watch the video on measuring for your stairlift before ordering. My biggest fear was that my measurements might be off, but everything was dimensionally correct. Also watch the installation video on youtube ("How to Install the AmeriGlide Rave 2 Stair lift"). That was easy to follow and more straightforward for me than the installation manual. A few of the components are heavy. If possible, it may be easier to unbox in your garage and then carry pieces in individually. I ordered online and didn't need to call anyone for help so I can't comment on that side of the transaction. The unit performs well so I am certainly satisfied considering the reduced DIY cost. My only comment is that an email and shipment tracking number would have been appreciated. I had no idea when it would show up. I think this should be an automatic communication.

Amerglide… DO NOT do business with this group. They Lie… They do not return phone calls or emails… the make promises and dont keep them… they deliver defective and damaged property and don’t replace it. They say they will install and do not. Worst company and worst experience with a an American or Canadian business. Matthieu Oiumet worst company President it all starts with Matthieu if he teaches his people to behave like him and do nothing. I have waited or been a part of trying to get Amerglide to do what is right for months.

We had a fairly urgent need for the Rave2 lift. John Gross was so helpful in getting it here in a timely manner. The installation was easy and the function is great. I recommend this product.

Their sales Rep. Tres scammed us and diverted our sale to another company he was affiliated with. Over one year and both companies won't respond after taking our money. Never delivered/installed our elevator. Going to contact Law Enforcement and an attorney. DO NOT PURCHASE from them.

I contacted Mr. Roger Adams Sales Department who was very courteous, helpful and made a clean reasonable offer for the two stair lifts I needed. I accepted the offer and the shipment was made/received and lifts installed all in good time. The Lifts are being used for the last 10 days and am pleased with this purchase.

Worst customer service around. The Hercules 750 hasn't worked from Day 1 and they don't care and can't provide any info on who could help but they know for sure they can't help. Don't buy from this company.

I had a Rave stair lift installed in December. Less than 3 months later a contractor working in my basement noticed that 3 stairs were splitting and told me not to use the lift as was unsafe. I called the installer who was hired by Ameriglide and part of the total price. He, of course said he did nothing wrong. I contacted Ameriglide and after talking to several people was giving the number for Colin, in Warranty. He tried to tell me it wasn't their fault and I explained they hired the installer so ultimately it was their responsibility. After many unanswered phone calls, he finally told me they were denying the claim. DO NOT have anything to do with this company!

Lucked into a new Rave II for less than a third the cost for buying it from Ameriglide. Just completed the installation by myself, at 81 years old. Needed help from Collin, because there is a door right at the top of the stairs. Sent him pictures and he responded by calling me almost immediately. Great help in getting the installation right. Ameriglide provided the necessary tall brackets needed for this type of installation quickly.

The installation is super easy, except if you need to cut the rail and don't have a 12" miter saw handy. Got it done with an 8" saw, finished with a hack saw and a little grinding.

Recommendations:
1. Level the bracket that the seat turns on to really get the seat level. Tighten the screw on the front and back really tight or the seat can tip a little when you sit on it at the top landing.
2. Make sure to get the charging strips on the correct sides. They are color coded.
3. The footrest droops at the front when someone's feet are on it. Solved with a couple of shims epoxied to the two points where the footrest is supported when down. Now it is perfectly level.
4. Adjust the top stop so the seat is at a comfortable height.

The stairlift is not manufactured by Ameriglide. It is made by Harmar and most parts are totally interchangeable between the Rave II and the SL600.

Now I have a stair lift for when I get old and have trouble with the stairs.

Once we paid for the unit that was it. The customer service has serious issues. Lack of response from the salesman. Then the unit came out and the chain was short. Once we got a hold of someone. We were passed around from the salesman to customer service. Then to Atlas who actually makes the unit. Which we didn't buy it from Atlas so why we have to communicate with them is beyond me. Then we had to measure the chain and waste bunch of our time figuring out what went wrong when this is Ameriglide job. Then after all that we have waited 2 1/2 weeks and we have emailed serval times with no response and then called today and found out Atlas has been closed for two weeks and the chain hasn't even been cut to be shipped. But hey the customer service gal says she understands that we can't get paid and finish a 3 million dollar home, so I guess everything will be alright.

I appreciate Collin he helped me today as I am disabled and need my stairlift to function daily tasks. Recently my lift stopped functioning and I called ameriglide for help. Everyone was so friendly and immediately transferred me to Collin. He instructed me on steps to get my stairlift up and running. I was so relieved and happy. He knows his job and is a true asset to ameriglide Thank you much!!!!

I was recommended to Ameriglide by a friend who had experience with it. I ordered it directly from the factory, and worked with a representative named Craig McCullough. He patiently worked with me to get all of the measurements needed, got my stairlift ordered and it was delivered within a week. I am lucky to have a family member who was able to install it, and three hours later, my stairlift was in and operational. Not only is it completely reliable and assisting to me, but the price was so very much more reasonable than companies who also sell them, and the self install is easily done with someone with minimal expertise. I highly recommend AmeriGlide to everyone.

This company is HORRIBLE. Their salesman was rude, they sold a bill of goods. Don’t plan on any service after it’s installed! They ONLY warranty parts, if it breaks or something goes wrong it’s on you to pay for fixing it!!!

My order was never corrected. I repeatedly called. The original installation was August 2022 and it is now November 2022. A new PO was placed at the beginning of October 2022, money charged to my credit card, and no replacement parts have been received. The installer reached out to me twice interim and still no correction has been made. It is now 11/16/2022.
Additionally, it appears they have caller ID. My call kept getting dropped until I used a different phone.
Furthermore, they are quick to charge your credit card without genuinely sending the merchandise requested.

The process went very smoothly from inquiry to installation. Another big star lift company would not make the installation, but Ameriglide did a perfect installation.

Customer service was a challenge to get on the phone sometimes but John, the sales rep, was great once I got in touch with him. We opted to assemble the stair lift ourselves and the YouTube video was super helpful. The only complaint I have is with the way the parts were made. The holes on the rails had burrs on them so there was some difficulty in getting them together properly. The track is still not completely smooth. Also, the seat had some type of grey "sand?" in the plastic it was packaged in. Otherwise, it was a good experience.
