We purchased the 25' telescoping flagpole and it is terrific. I'm a 65 yr old women and can raise and lower it myself (standing on a one-step stool b/c I'm short.) Two 4x6' flags fly on it wonderfully. Sadly, we've honorably had to lower the flag to half staff twice since installing it about a month ago. (The mass shooting at the Jewish Synagogue and the dance club in Thousand Oaks, CA) That's easy to do by removing the lower (Texas) flag and re-fastening the US flag one clamp down. (Another time on a very windy day, I lowered the pole by one section, keeping both flags on it, as a precaution to give it additional sturdiness.) An added bonus is the solar light we also purchased from Ameritex. We sprung for the more expensive one ($98) at the advice of the owner and we are so glad we did. The outer row of bulbs shines out diagonally at a 45 and adequately lights BOTH flags at night and creates a moon-glow effect in our yard! We are so proud to have a flag pole again after a 15 year absence from our prior home. Why did we wait so long?!
