Bought a pair of Salomon shoes from Salomon/Amer sports Unable to contact either company to report damaged goods. They demand such a great deal of uploaded photos etc and I am not savvy on such matters. Unable to contact them directly to talk to anyone. Would definetly not buy any more shoddy goods from Salomon.
Beware if you are thinking of buying Wilson Launch Pad 2 Irons via a retailer who uses Amer Sports as their supplier. I purchased some this way and within a month the paint on the club heads started coming off. Contacted my retailer and in turn they went back to Amer with photographs of the paint scuffing but Amer seem to be going down the "cosmetic" route and seem unwilling to refund or replace. Contacted Wilson to see what their status is on warranties/guarantees and was just advised to speak with the retailer so they too no help at all. If you know paint is going to come off a golf club head then don't paint them! Over £300 for a set of irons that after 2 months look like they are 20 years old! Check who supplies the goods and be careful when looking at these irons. Better quality is probably out there.
In Switzerland they are the distributor of Salomon goods. Appallingly high return fees (65.- CHF), unbelievable slow shipping process. And they are not even shipping from Switzerland. The company is just using the tax shelter here but do everything from abroad, is my guess.
Salomon has died for me as a brand that I liked before.
