As a long-time user of AmiBroker, I can confidently say this software is a game-changer for serious traders. However, it's important to note that AmiBroker might not be for everyone. The learning curve can be steep, especially if you're new to technical analysis or coding. Amibroker is old and buggy. For example if you use many tabs in a window, the next time you open it they are all scrambled. It can't handle multiple monitors properly. Plus several other minor bugs that affect the overall experience. On the other hand it's fast and relatively cheap, but the overall look and feel shows it's a definitely old product. However, the worst side is that the owner is very unfriendly, he seems to be bothered by questions, he has a very good opinion of himself and treats people like rubbish. There used to be another guy handling support, he was excellent but unfortunately he's not there any more. The owner is an excellent programmer, but has no idea of how to manage people.

It has top class functionality but lacks the user-friendly data feed. It was top software around 2010 but now adopting the fate like Nokia.
