Never but Never finance anything with this company, they charged predatory fees for everything, i got a new insurance and they charge for that, i also never got explained about about the structure of the loan until i figure i don't have a payoff amount like a regular car loan. this is BS

Horrible company to work with. I was forced into using Amur to finance my 2022 freighliner. After paying half the payments i still own more then i paid for the truck. They screw you at every turn!! Don't use them. Buyer beware!!

Do business with AMUR at your own risk. Their financing practices are not straightforward, and I strongly advise anyone considering them to read the fine print carefully. Do not give in to pressure or excessive talking meant to confuse you. Always ask: What will my total charges be by the end of this loan? What happens if I pay off the balance early?
AMUR claims its loans are “not interest‑bearing,” but what that actually means is unclear. Their fees are not transparent, and they can add charges without providing a clear breakdown of the true cost. They won't give you the total amount of your loan, but the monthly payment. You will have to figure it out how much the life of your loan will cost you. In my experience, this created a very concerning and opaque financial arrangement.
I purchased a truck in June 2023 from Ryder and was referred to AMUR for financing. The total amount financed was $37,246.60 under TZ Square Transportation LLC. I made 17 consecutive monthly payments of $1,361.67, totaling $23,148, without ever missing or being late on a payment.
Then the unforeseen happened. I lost my day job, trucking revenue dropped drastically due high gasoline prices and extremely low rates per mile, and the truck suffered a major mechanical breakdown. It was taken to a repair shop in Laurel, MD. Realizing I could no longer sustain the monthly payments, I contacted AMUR (Morgan Osborn) to request a payoff amount. They quoted approximately $43,600—despite the original financed amount being $37,246 and despite my having already paid over $23,000.
In November 2024, I offered $10,000 as a settlement after providing both my personal and business financial statements. AMUR rejected my offer and countered with a payoff of $42,000+, which I could not afford. They advised me to sell the truck if I could not continue making payments.
The truck—a 2015 International 4300 with over 260,000 miles —received a purchase offer of $15,000 from the repair shop owner. I informed AMUR and even offered to add $8,000 of my own funds to bring the total to $23,000 just to exit the loan. AMUR refused again and insisted on the $42,000+ payoff.
With no other option, I voluntarily surrendered the truck to AMUR (Jordyn Johnson) in mid‑November 2024 so they could sell it and apply the proceeds to the balance. To my surprise, in February 2025 the repair shop contacted me to say the truck was still sitting there—AMUR had never picked it up. The shop began charging $75 prorated per day for storage. I notified AMUR immediately, yet they allowed the truck to remain there until late March 2025, when they finally transferred the title to the shop owner for $1,000. My question is, why didn't they give me the tittle for the $1000 and the bill?
To this day, I have received no documentation from AMUR showing how much the truck was sold for or how they calculated the remaining balance. Instead, I was issued a bill for $42,000 in December of 2025, which I am now making monthly payments on. Life has been stressful, making payments on something you know was taken from you unfairly and handed to someone else.
My question is simple: Why punish a customer who tried in good faith to resolve the situation? AMUR refused reasonable settlement offers, failed to retrieve the truck in a timely manner, and still held me responsible for an inflated balance.
If you are a small business seeking financing, please stay away from AMUR. My experience has been costly, stressful, and deeply disappointing. I regret ever doing business with them.
