extremely negative experience

We had an extremely negative experience with Andrew the Homebuyer and strongly advise against trusting their claims regarding post-closing arrangements.

We were explicitly told by Joey, the representative who inspected our home on May 7, that we could remain in the property for 30 days after closing. Based on this, we informed him that we would move out by May 24. However, the house closed on Friday, May 22, and that same day, an individual arrived at our door claiming he had purchased the property. He demanded that we leave immediately and threatened us with police involvement.

When we contacted Cynthia from Andrew the Homebuyer to resolve this, she stated that because the sale had been recorded with the county, we were legally obligated to vacate immediately. This was despite our move not being scheduled yet and all of our furniture still being in the house.

This situation has caused us an incredible amount of stress and frustration. Based on our experience, their word cannot be trusted, and I would not recommend Andrew the Homebuyer to anyone.

Bait and Switch

Bait and Switch! They provided a written offer for my condo and when it came to acceptance and setting a close date, the purchase price was reduced by $35k! ATHB's agents operate unethically and have tarnished their reputation, now known as an unreputable investor based on my dealings! Don't trust them!
