Never use this product on any house built pre 1915. Sadly I employed so called expert Graham Sherlock, Jennifer Aird and their now defunct authorised "Andura Coatings" company "Wallcoat Scotland ltd" to provide this Exterior Wall coating to my 1870s house.
In the years since it has damaged my house and now has to be stripped off to prevent further damage.
The house was built using lime and should never have had this coating applied. (something the authorised dealer must have known).
Learn by my mistake always check with a Building Surveyor and Historic Scotland / England expert.

Having been in the coating industry for more than 20-year my affiliation with Andura has been ideal I have tried most of the other coating manufacturers in the past, who will remain nameless, and as a company, we have always found their coating products to be the best.
From placing orders to the materials being delivered I cannot fault them, also bear in mind we are in central Scotland.
The backing is 2nd to none, so I confidenty leave 5*

Good product on the wall, if applied correctly! However, we have recently had a terrible experience due to a rogue trader acquiring the product via a disreputable source. This led to a nightmare ordeal where we lost thousands of pounds and many months of our lives. Be sure your contractor is approved and trained to use kind of product.

Andura did help us find a reputable company and discounted the product as a gesture of good will. I hope in the future that only reputable companies will be able to obtain the product and ‘approved contractors’ will be constantly assessed to determine suitability.

The house has now been painted by a good company and we are happy with the outcome. If looking to use this product, I would recommend phoning Andura directly to confirm your contractor is approved. Also, quiz them IN DETAIL about your contractor’s reputation and any black marks against their name.

Update: Andura continue to approve and endorse LTI Transformations, consequently I believe Andura product should be avoided. After doing research (search the LTI directors on companies house and look up reviews of previous companies) there is abundant evidence of disreputable behaviour. Sadly this is not reflected in their TrustPilot ratings, as they use a quirk of TP's T&Cs to remove unfavourable reviews. Sadly Andura still choose to work with this company and as such I would be wary of the brand all together.

Jon and the team at andura are great to deal with and know their stuff. The paint I have used is one of, if not the best ! Amazing flow and opacity !
Well worth the money knowing you’re not going to be doing a third or forth coat of paint !

As a keen painter and decorator who is always doing research on how to improve my work I consider myself a Decorating geek. I've had what I thought was a perfect system for sometime using the best water based paints on offer, however when I came across Andura I was proved wrong. Jon and the team are fantastic, they go above and beyond for you and always at the end of the phone for advice. I have totally changed my system now and have become a registered Andura contractor and can expand my business and skills now. Andura is a high end product and worth every penny and I love it even more as its British. What I like the most about the interior range as a whole is that it's all water baeed, eco friendly which is the way the industry is moving and what clients ask for now, the matt is great as its a true flat matt finish with depth and strength and is my favourite product as it can be used on ceilings, walls and woodwork. With a growing interior range always being developed the future looks exciting.

I am in the process of renovating an old farmhouse. I needed a good paint for varying internal wall surfaces (plasterboard, concrete and brickwork). The Andura paint I used was outstanding. A little goes a long way. Application is simple with roller and brush and the covering it gives is second to none. I could easily have done one coat and been happy. The feel on the surface is superb. I could not recommended them more.

I must say on comparison to other trade paints which I use I am very impressed with the outcome

I'm new to the Andura brand , I was one of the lucky winners in a P&D news competition and so chose the low sheen acrylic in white - Fantastic product ,left it about 40 minutes to dry then tried the scratch test ,couldn't scratch it Brilliant👍. Left no brush marks at all unlike some other water based brands. I will definitely be using their products again, so much so that come the new year I'll be setting up an account with Andura. Jon Mears has being great to deal with, very helpful & sent me loads of info .
