Ann Taylor has the worst costumer service. Please do not buy, the return service is a nightmare, customer service is horrendous, and it takes more than a month for Ann Taylor to post your money back into your account, even though you have proof of delivery. A complete scam. Ann Taylor sits in your money for three weeks getting interest out of it.

I think they are losing me as a customer. I placed an order and was sent everything except two items. After two weeks I started to get concerned they would sell out before they were sent to me. I chatted with customer service and was told there was still plenty in stock and not to worry. Now three weeks after I placed the order one item appears to be sold out in the size I ordered. I've chatted with customer service two more times and was told someone would contact me.
Not sure what will happen but I'm still waiting on someone to contact me. The items would have been nice to have to wear for holiday functions but are now too late for that even though I ordered them in November. I hope I still get them eventually but I doubt I will want to shop at Ann Taylor anymore after this experience. They should have someone who sees that orders are processed completely in a timely manner or at least someone who will make sure the order gets processed in a timely manner once you bring it to their attention.
I keep receiving spam emails from them saying "Remember This, It's on Sale. Still love this look?" Yes, actually I do. That's one of the items I ordered three weeks ago, please send it to me.
I hope they care enough to make it right and get back to me soon with a resolution because I had really been loving this store lately before this happened.

I would submit a -1 if possible. I had such a hard time when speaking with the customer service rep. All I wanted was a label to return a very expensive dress. I could not generate the label through the online website. The rep thought I was trying to dodge the $8.95 return charge. ‘SIR, look at the cost of this dress, $8.95 is not a problem.!!!’ I will never order anything online from this company again.My return was a nightmare.

I have shopped at Ann Taylor most of my adult life. There is not a store near where I live now so I purchase a tweed dress for a bridal tea for my daughter in London, England online. Nowhere in the description did it say it had gold tinsel thread. Also, the color was much darker and mustard gold looking compared to the cream color that I thought I was getting. It is hideous. And uncomfortable! I called my local Ann Taylor store and asked if I could return the dress that I purchased online, in their store. I asked again to be sure she understood, and she said yes. However, when I drove the 35 minutes minutes to the store they said I was unable to do a return from online purchase. So I wasted over an hour of driving because of them. So I begin the process to try and find out how to send the items back still well within the purchase date of July 17. The process of finding how to return and print the label is horrible, and when I tried to forward the proof of purchase to my work email, so I could print the return label, it would not send the proof of purchase, which is required for a return. The customer service is abysmal, and the quality of the material from the items purchased was horrible and this store has gone downhill tremendously. Huge disappointment! On top of all of this, in tiny print on my receipt only there is a note that the sale was final, not at all clear when purchased. Everything about this experience was horrible and I wasted $125 on one of the ugliest things I’ve ever seen. I went back to the pictures to compare the dress that I received, and frankly, I feel completely scammed. Some thing is very fishy and deceitful about this., and I would steer clear of Ann Taylor. What a nightmare! Clearly a scam front now.

Very disappointed with AT. I am an AT customer for more than 10 years but as other reviews says, the customer service is horrible, no respect for the customers at all.
No more stores in Manhattan, so if you need to return an item, you have to send by mail or go to the closest store in Long Island. If you do not return within 30 days after the order, they DO NOT return you the full price you paid, they return you ONLY the price on sale.
Paid $169 for a dress, they returned me only $101 for the same dress because was returned after 42 days from the other date. Chat does not work, text works but takes forever and the person is useless.

I’m not a long time AT customer however my favorite store’s clothing quality has diminished so much that I sought out another who carried petite sizes for mature women. Ann Taylor was recommended and I gave them a try. This particular store did not carry a wide variety of petites to choose from however I did find a few cute things. I opened a credit card with them as I prefer to shop online. After just a few online shopping experiences suddenly my password wasn’t recognized. After I tried to correct this online to no avail. For over three weeks I’ve called customer service, the reps are not helpful, they speak as though it is an inconvenience for them to try to help. I clearly explained my issue however their response was to simply repeat the same instructions over and over again, and I continued to explain that their instructions were not working. I asked to speak to a supervisor, was put on a lengthy hold and the same rep returned giving the same instructions which still did not work. I’ve sent an email to the customer service, no response yet. It say I am Extremely Disappointed is a huge understatement. Now after reading others comments regarding customer service and quality of clothing at AT I will begin a new search for a company that cares for their customers, provides quality clothing, as obviously Ann Taylor does not.

Very disappointed with Ann Taylor's attention to detail and customer service. My unit no was not included on an order that was placed by a store associate. My receipt has the unit but someone dropped the ball and didn't include it on the UPS label!!!! So chances of getting the merchandise is slim as I live in a large complex. And UPS would not allow me to add it, nor did the customer service dept. (both text and via email). Verrrrrrry unhelpful. Now I've to deal with reversing the charges.
Get your act together Ann Taylor. You've a lot of competition out there - which will me my choice and not you.

What a horrible customer service model. I have multiple orders and I need to return a few items from each order. ALL the items fit in one bag, yet they want to charge a 8.95 for a return label from EACH return!!! That's insane. I'll be taking my dollars elsewhere. If three small items fit in ONE bag, why do I need to buy 3 8.95 shipping labels??

Sent back an item that didn’t fit in a timely and in original package. Have proof that they received it and no response grime them. Ha d to track it down and called them. Was told twice that refund would be credited to my account that day. Reported to BBB. Almost 50 days and they haven’t given even responded to my return and still have my money. Something very fish! Don’t order from them.

It is very clear Ann Taylor does not want or respect the loyalty of customers for over 30 years.
I receive my statement in the mail not online. After receiving an email my payment was late, I went online and made a debit card payment and made a call that I had not received a statement. I was charged a 30.00 fee plus interest. At this point I still did not know my balance. My Cincinnati AT store closed so I ordered online the exact size I already had in my closet, and it was way off in fitting, so I had to pay shipping charges to return it.
The clothes are not the quality or sizing you could always depend on.
Due to the frustration trying to reach a representative on the phone I cancelled my account then when I finally reached a representative, she said she could not credit my account the late fees.
Hopefully, another vendor will read these reviews and open a store to replace Ann Taylor.

Ann Taylor is my go-to clothing brand when it comes to professional clothing. Their clothes are luxurious in design and helps me look extremely professional. Prices can be a bit sticky, but you get what you pay for. I usually purchase a few pieces of high quality clothes from Ann Taylor and stick to them for work.
Their design is also very versatile. I can mix some of their clothes with a casual shirts / pants and I have a really cool outfit for hanging out.

Ann Taylor customer service has gone downhill. They are selective to who can shop online and their customer service depending on who you receive will tell you a different story on the policy. I can't help but think this is due to the new ownership that occurred in the last couple of years as I have been a customer for twenty years and this is the first I am experiencing such horrible service and lack of customer regard.

I am sadden for what it has become of Ann Taylor. I’m a professional woman and have been shopping for years in the stores. I recently made a purchase online and use their credit card (Comenity Bank). My $134 bill was due January 28, 2023. I paid the $134 although I was returning one item because it came ripped. My bank send the check because it was through bill pay and it show the comenity Bank received the money on January 20, 2023. I also send the blouse that was ripped with the label they send me for an exchange. On February I received a $211 bill which included the money I had paid, the shirt they send me as a replacement, the shirt I originally bought and returned, a late fee, and interest. After numerous attempts to reach someone, They said they never received the money or the shirt and I had to proof to them my bank paid and I shipped the shirt. I collected all the information and submitted the inside Marion as instructed on line. I called again weeks later and I was told they never got it. they directed me to send a letter with the copy of the receipt by mail to a PO Box. I did that and also send letters to the customer relations at 4979 Executive Parkway, Westerville, OH and executive offices that I found in the internet. The letters were returned because there was not a valid address or a forwarding address. I finally was able to speak to a representative (who appeared to be at a different country) who told me that they had received the payment in February 20, 2023. This is one month and 10 days after I made the payment through my bank. She said I still had late fees and interest. I had to advised her I was getting the state attorney’s office involved because I had proof the payment was made on time. She responded by saying they “will forgive” the late fee once, but the next time I will carry the penalties. I could not believe they never acknowledged they had the money and the shirt I returned. I closed the account for my financial safety. Please be aware this company is not reliable and looking at the other reviews they have no problem taking your money or getting you in trouble with the credit bureau. This company should not be allowed to do business in the U.S.

It is abundantly clear that Ann Taylor does not want the business of repeat and loyal customers. I attempted to make a purchase on 12/24 with my AT card online. Got a message to correct my zip code. The order did not go through and $163 is now a pending charge on my card that has STILL NOT cleared. I've been told several times that it will take 24-48 hours to clear and here we are almost a week later and it's still not cleared. I've been told I just have to wait. In the meantime I keep getting email promotions with limited items available. But I cannot buy anything with my AT card until this balance is cleared. There is no interest in any of the customer service agents to help me get this resolved. I've grown up with Ann Taylor. I bought my clothes for my first job with Ann Taylor. I loved the brand and quality of clothes. I've spent thousands of dollars in cash through the years with Ann Taylor. Before any online shopping even existed. My recent experiences with Ann Taylor have completely changed how I view the brand. What a huge disappointment.

I attempted to order online as I always have, but this time using an e-giftcard given to me by my son for my birthday.
Upon checkout, I got a message the funds were no longer available. WHAT? This was my first time using this ecard. So I attempted the online "Chat" which took me forever - and was told the funds would now be released and I would receive an email confirmation. That never came. I then called the customer service line and spoke with a representative, who told me the very same thing. Again, no email ever came and I cannot access this ecard and place my order. The online sale has now expired, and honestly I'm pretty dissatisfied overall with this vendor. They are supposed to be a high quality retail store, and their customer service should be better. Right now I am awaiting a reply to my email but am not at all hopeful I will receive one. perhaps Ann Taylor will lose me as a long time, loyal customer!

I paid my AT card off they charged me $3.31 interest after I had paid card off. They are charging me late fees for the $3.31 and now show on my credit report that I am delinquent $63.00. They are thieves trying to charge you after I paid account off. They received all the money that I owed them. They need to remove this from my credit report!!! SMH!!!!
New staff-best service
I went into the Ann Taylor Loft, in Acton MA expecting an attitude with the service because I had a return.. I was shocked to be greeted very nicely, then I went to the desk and Alissa right away said hello and how can I help you.. She saw that I had a return and it was a little complicated because my daughter bought the clothes on line and I was returning them and reordering them in a different size.. She was so patient with me and so friendly, and actually some of the other sales people walk to the desk and I said, do you to work with me, we all laughed.. It was the best experience I have ever had in this store.. Allissa was super helpful and had a smile on her face the whole time..You must have new staff and I will definitely shop there agin..HORRAY FOR ALISSA

Ordered on line and need to pay for returns. It is very inconvenience. I need to pay for shipping for stuff delivered and pay again for stuff not as expected. Will not order on line any more and it is hard to find store. I think I will say bye to Ann Taylor.
