And once again parcels left on a main thoroughfare OUTSIDE and NOT where my instructions say.
It’s becoming quite a nuisance.
ANOTHER delivery the next day LEFT OUTSIDE. I was at home and watched as my parcel was left outside. No attempt to ring my doorbell. Absolute joke that I have left instructions and the key code to the door but delivery simply too lazy to be bothered.
No wonder so many CLAIMS for non delivery …….thats what happens when you leave goods outside on a public thoroughfare.
To add insult to injury, it’s absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to find an email address to make a direct complaint and the contact form on the website doesn’t exist.
I would also love to know why your phone lines are for “urgent assistance” only when it’s virtually impossible to contact anyone in A n Post.
I’ve had NO RESPONSE at all in weeks on WhatsApp.

I had booked home pickup of recycled Nespresso pods on two occasions recently. Pickups did not happen.
I tried to pursue the matter on line but An Post claimed it had no knowledge of the tracking numbers provided. The AI responder seemed to keep referring to a Delivery while I referred to Pick up / collect. Communications then ended. I have just had a third confirmed pick up from home for 30 March - will this happen? I doubt it!

AwA business item worth alot of money left sat in warehouse for a full week SO FAR, while another part of same delivery was sent. Then customer service told lie after lie that it would definitely be on plane that day ....then the next day said it's a mistake,and give 48 business hours for a reply . This is not the first time. Also been told standard post and registered post are identical!!
Customer now wants refund as it's not been posted , absolutely disgraceful.
Edit after your reply ** it's all logged with an post ,they just keep saying there is delays after delays ,awful service and will not use your service again. My wife has stopped all business with you going forward

Great service if package was delivered, if it's lost it's a nightmare even if package was insured. Customer service needs 60 days to investigate, which is unaceptable, even if they confirm that package was lost it's imposible to get anythink from them. If you need cancel shipment after item was handed to an post it's inpossible which on current time whit lot of fraud it's a joke.

My name is Erik,and I an using my brothers trustpilot account,If i wanted to leave 0 star I could,first this man man rips the signature machine out of my mother hands agressively because she was struggling to sign on the machine and starts to rudely talk to her and shouts at her and throws a letter at her when my mother was confronting him for dropping the packages on the ground and throwing it like there was nothing in the package like if my mom was an animal for her to pick it up,the package was heavy for hear to carry it in,
He threw my brothers package into his car instead of handing it to him at the door,he has a history of handing deliveries to the wrong people thinking they are our neighbours even though our door is open for him as we are expecting a delivery at home waiting for him,he delivers packages without signature or photos as it is a new an post policy he does not follow the rules,and he literally once signed my brothers package under his name without his permission and marked it as delivered while he was waiting for it all day at home and he talked about it to him then the next day he said he delivered it to a neighbour which they didn't,but actually delivered it the next day late,he also dropped the packages in front of my brother when he was outside the home like the way he did to my mother as well,apparently he does that to my brother and he is done it a lot of times,he left a negative feedback here too and we live at the same address and we both experienced aggressive and unprofessional,unlawful behaviour from the deliver man,never have we experienced this before with another delivery man,he also came around and left on delivery day and left a package that was my brothers at the office,he can't walk due to severee sciatica,he made a complaint to you guys! Twice! And a agent named Sean turned him off the chat halfway through the conversation,the postman also delivered a package that had 5 items in it for 50 euros and they where missing and there was a hole in the package and it looked like somebody opened it,and then a week later after my brother received an email from you guys where you told him that you where going to "investigate",yeah he just delivred a package yesterday and just left it on a neighbours chair and literally anyone could have robbed it,WHILE WE WERE HOME AND WITH THE DOOR OPEN!
I received two packages today for my mother,and me,but and then he delivered mine,the other one later 20 minutes later...is the post man on drugs? my mother lives with us!
Why is he still working here?

Just a horrendous experience. Spoke to N as a customer service representative after they tracked a parcel for a month. It disappeared off the grid for a month and then reappeared with a return to sender. N effectively said I can't help you hung up the chat and that was it. Absolutely no idea where my daughter's parcel is. They won't talk to me because my name isn't on the the package and they say well, have your daughter talk to us my daughter's three. She won't be doing that.

I am writing to report an issue with a recent delivery.
I had left clear instructions on my door asking the driver to ring the doorbell once, and if there was no answer, to leave the parcel in a safe place.
However, the driver repeatedly rang the doorbell multiple times instead of following these instructions. This felt excessive and intrusive, and caused significant disturbance. The repeated ringing felt unnecessary and verging on harassment.
This has happened more than once, and it is becoming very frustrating. Ignoring clear delivery instructions in this way is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

Shocking bad. An Post in Galway city have forgotten how to knock on doors and deliver parcels. They literally abandon packages on doorsteps in the lashing rain.
They've lost their national hero status and have turned into DPD.

Can finally confirm they’re lying through their teeth. I see the anpost car so I go down in the parking lot. I ask the driver if my parcels are inside, pretends to have a look and says no. I walk away and a minute later I get a notification from Amazon saying delivery attempted.

At present, I am waiting on 5 parcels to be delivered. Upon contacting An Post's customer service agents, I was advised that my parcels are available to pick up in my local sorting office by email. However, when I presented, they could not locate my items. I have spent the rest of the day back and forth via phone and webchat, speaking to a total of 4 separate agents, trying to locate the parcels to absolutely no avail. No agents could tell me where my parcels are, or when they would be delivered. All have been marked as 'sorted for delivery', one for 6 days now. I urgently require these items and it is unacceptable as a postal service to have such a lack of information where my packages are and when I can expect to receive them. Even the complaints option is through the 'contact us form' which has limited space in which to explain anything. I would recommend avoiding An Post for any postal needs in the future.
Update: one parcel was delivered Saturday 21st March. As of Monday 23rd March, I am still onto customer service about the remaining 4 packages, still no one can tell me when they will be delivered.

Very poor delivery service from An Post. Packages are repeatedly left outside my door without knocking or attempting proper delivery. This is completely unacceptable, as it puts my parcels at risk of being stolen or damaged.
A basic part of the service is to knock or ensure someone is home before leaving a package. This has happened multiple times, which shows a lack of care and professionalism.
I expect much better from a national postal service. This issue needs to be addressed urgently.

Impossible to speak with a HUMAN BEING. Customer service is A.I. dominated and Chat is also useless. No staff dealing with chat or customer enquiries. Attempting to get proof of delivery , impossible at this stage, or so it seems.

My package has been stuck at their receiving center for a month now with bi movement, none of their customer support agents know where it is as each one says something completely different. Hardly any communication on the progress, no eta and even the senders aren't getting any info whatsoever. The fact that they somehow even manage to stay in business is a surprise to me, expecting my package to be damaged like others have reported as well if I ever even receive it.
