Knowledge is superb and good service…

Knowledge is superb and good service plus quality products. I bought the XP10 Heavy duty and then went on to buy a restart battery which is a great idea. Being stuck in the middle of somewhere when I forgotten to unplug something is no longer a worry. Does the restart work? I havent needed to try it but someone I know did after leaving a charging bank plugged in all night . He remembered the restart function and it worked perfectly! Much better than trying to push a heavy ADV bike to find a slope if you are you lucky

Absolutely fuming, no customer support or repair service

Absolutely fuming, when I called about advice for the power packs they fell over themselves to help, the customer service was brilliant and I paid over £200 for a pack. I explained it was for charging an iPad and just for emergencies if I had a flat battery. The pack had little use and the lights that showed the amount the power pack charged failed after about 10 mths but the pack still worked. Then it stopped working all together it had not even jump started a vehicle. I contacted them and wow what a difference, they were rude and unhelpful, they informed me they wouldn’t do anything and the packs could not be repaired at any cost!!!! They charge a fortune with no knowledge of repair. They cost over £200 with only a year guarantee Lidl charge £52 with 3 yr warranty and technical support. Disgusted in this amateur rip off company, the power packs look extremely good quality they are not and there is no technical support 😡 at this price they should be repairable after just after a year of little use

The build quality of the batteries is…

The build quality of the batteries is amazing, far better than OEM lead acid units. There are some great touches such as the sizing compatibility (so you'll be able to drop in replace an H6, H7, H8 etc) as well as bolt-in terminals for attaching monitors, and the remote fobs for enabling the jump start mode (so you can start even when the bonnet is inoperable). There is a wealth of experience behind these innovations, and you can tell the founders in the US are both proud and principled in how they back their customers. The UK distribution is by Enigma Batteries, and they are every bit as helpful and well-informed, and perfectly happy to chat through questions or offer advice. These batteries find themselves in high end vehicles and they really have seen them all now! It's been a pleasure and I am happy to recommend Antigravity Batteries.

Aggressive customer service

I bought a ATZ-7 battery from Antigravity which stopped working after a couple of weeks. When I raised the issue with Antigravity the customer service team was very aggressive and berated me for my battery choice. We agreed I would send the battery back to them to process an exchange but when I sent the battery back they said they didn’t want to accept it because they didn’t like how I packaged the battery (battery was sent in perfect condition) and again they were extremely aggressive in their communications. At the end of the day I had to buy a totally new battery and was out about £200. Not to mention was left feeling thrashed by their customer service. Super unpleasant experience.

*WARNING* Well built product on appearence but false advertising on it's abilities, business refuses returns, and ignores communications

When I purchased the Micro-Start XP-10 from Anti-gravity Batteries I thought I was getting a quality product that, as advertised on their website, could jump start a Diesel engine "up to 4.5L". (If you go to the official US website, they actually claim 7L!). Unfortunately it was far from the truth.

To explain if you have a large diesel engine with a battery that is slightly low enough to a point where the XP-10 cannot add it’s charge to the engines battery charge, then the unit won't be able to jump the engine. This is because of the claim that it has 300-600 (peak) amps output, but this is very misleading as we (Myself and an independent batteries expert) found it could only barely reach 600 amps for literally 1 second, and only if the unit has just come from being fully charged from the mains. Diesel engines usually require this amperage for a lot longer than just 1 second, which is why most trucks have powerful batteries like 90-100AH capacity and +850CCA.

The XP-10 could not start my 2L diesel truck, let alone any 4.5L probably. The truck I tested the unit on was a brand new engine, with the only fault being a low-ish battery.

Overall the XP-10s abilities are lie. All reviews on their website are possibly fake, and certainly DO NOT CONTAIN ANY REVIEWS LESS THAN 4 STARS. I Tried to add my fair and unbiased review, but obviously it hasn't been published and probably won't.

I contacted Anti-gravity Batteries for a refund, but so far have ignored my emails. Do not believe any of these manufacturers claims who make these light weight lithium jump starters, they are all grossly underpowered to what they claim they can do.

Update: I failed to mention in this review that I also purchased their emergency tyre inflater as well. It had quite literally been left brand new and unused in its packing since testing it once, but recently after trying to use it again it suddenly stopped working. Absolutely shocking that something with barely any use has failed. I'm not interested in trying to claim a refund or anything, as I'm fully aware of how long its been and the fact it wasn't overly expensive, but it shows another damning example of how this manufacturer cannot be trusted in my opinion whatsoever.
