Scam company

Scam company
Ordered the Mark Knopfler guitar set. One guitar was wrong, the other broken. Attempted to contact by all means (email, Facebook, web chat) - no response.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Since September 2024 I have not receive…

Since September 2024 I have not receive my parcel, they only put me me off again and again.
I paid money and never receive the goods.
It is unbelievable, this company is not reliable.
So after almost a year they didn't manage it!
I reclaimed my money, but I didn't get it back or received the goods. I'm totaly disappointet!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I have been waiting for a refund since January, they have confirmed they received the item I sent back and then stopped communicating with me. I have tried to contact them in multiple different ways and they will not respond.

Not real leather

Unfortunately though I ordered a leather guitar strap the item that I recieved I did not believe to be genuine leather. There was not even the faintest odour of leather, but a rather chemical one, and when I ran my fingers across the material it behaved in much the same way a plastic bin liner would. It crinkled and was extremely thin. I called the company and found the man to be very defensive, argumentative and talked over me. He was rather patronising asking me if I even knew what genuine leather is. When I pointed out that genuine leather goods often state on them that they are genuine leather, or have a tag label with this on. His rather bizarre response was to ask me -Does a cow have genuine leather written on it ? The call was unpleasant. When I informed him that I had emailed that day about the strap he again got defensive and had assumed I was expecting an instant response. I was merely informing him that I had emailed. When I stated that the product was made in China and that I thought it was cheap and lousy, he stated that thats what I was and ended the call. I later received an email from him in which he insisted that the strap was 100% leather and that I was rude , derogatory and argumentative. He also stated that if I am not happy with the strap to return it for a refund. I responded that the rude, derogatory and argumentative aspects of our call certainly did not just come from my side. I pointed out his information on the refund, and stated that that is how the call should have went. This was handled very unprofessionally by him. I did not set out not to like the product. I certainly did not want an abusive phone call in which he was defensive and combative. I also underlined there that there are reviews (on a well known online store beginning with A) at least 3 of them had a similar experience in terms of finding that the product is not, as claimed, leather. I have now purchased a wonderful leather strap from a company that makes them in England

Poor service.

I got a Brian May guitar legends gift pack for a present, which I wanted anyway. When I opened the pack, I was disappointed to find no guitar picks inside (which was advertised) and got six rubber washers instead, which are to protect the guitar strap- which I dont use!! I have contacted them on a number of times and left messages on their site but they wont reply and seem to not care. If I was a plumber, these would be good for fixing taps etc. Where are my steel guitar picks? Anyone else have this problem?

Very poor attitude

I ordered a personalised capo for a friends birthday. Unfortunately, due to glitches on their website, I had to go through the checkout process 3 or 4 times, during which process, the engraving option was inadvertently dropped off my order. On its arrival, I messaged the company pointing out the error, expecting a helpful response (ie "Return the item & we'll engrave it"). Instead, the operative proceeded to get very defensive & tersely pointed out that I hadn't ordered or paid for engraving (which I never argued against) & told me my tone was "Harsh"!? Needless to say, I will be submitting a formal complaint about how poorly my message was received & dealt with & I will never shop with these people ever again. They need to work on their customer focus!!
NB: I still have the transcript from my webchat experience should anyone want to challenge my version of events!

Excellent company

Excellent company. This is now the 2nd time I have purchased from them and once again the products are terrific. It’s so nice to find a gem of a company who give outstanding customer service and goes that extra little mile. It really does make a difference and means I will keep going back.

Great guitar products, highly recommended

Antony Scott provide guitar playing items such as tuners, capos, picks (Pick Geek brand) and other items. I have ordered a few items, the picks are good quality and look great and come in handy tins or bags. The value packs offer great and are perfect for gifts. I have used one of the Django tuners and a capo for 6 months with no issue.
Quick delivery too and watch out for regular discount codes
