This company should be dissolved.

I used one of their parking locations, and their terminal was out of service. I called the number displayed to pay, but there was no option to pay for the parking. I was on the line for 20 minutes with no answer. I could’ve paid for one hour of parking, but due to their terminal being faulty and no alternative, I had to pay for three hours. I then found another terminal, but it took me an additional 30 minutes to locate it and wait in the queue. There was no receipt from the terminal, and the QR code directed me to a webpage where I had to type the "VRD" to see the receipt (I have no idea what VRD means). This has been a nightmare experience. When I contacted customer service, they expected me to pay via the app, but I had no internet at the time, and the signal was poor. I could go on and on, but the sign stated I could pay on the website within 24 hours, when it didn’t make it clear that I had 24 hours to pay. Their sign said, 'A camera scans your number plate as you leave the hospital site and checks if you have paid or have a permit to park.' This company is a disgrace and should be heavily fined and dissolved.

Car Clamped during cancer treatment at cancer clinic

Hi all.
My car was clamped at university hospital in Limerick today I came with my my wife cause she is under cancer treatment, she's not feeling well behind the wheel after all of this medication. I spent 40 minutes trying to find parking space every single day, we drive 40 minutes from our house then 40 - 60 minutes finding a car park space and then some time in hospital and then need to run back home to collect my kids from school and that's every single day. Today I left car on footpath cause I had no choice like few other people but didn't expect that my car will be clamped if there was not even 1 parking space. I made a video today with many other cars parked incorrectly but only my one was clamped. If that's amazing support for my family during this really difficult time so thank you so much. How you can sleep through the nigh when clamping people in front of the cancer clinic, people are fighting about life, we didn't go for shopping. Don't care about 80 euro just whole this stress for me, my wife and my kids. Life is kicking my family since January, we couldn't pick our kids from school today , 40 minutes drive home to Charleville depends the traffic.
We have no family here, to support us.
Hopefully you will never be at our place.

I’ve been trying to pay a £25 fine for the last week. I’ve tried two different payment methods and keep getting the same message : we are in the process of taking your payment, it can take up to two hours. I know it isn’t.. I’ve never experienced this level of trouble processing a payment ever, so I assume if it has been deliberately designed to maximise revenues. Thanks for the wasted hours of my life and stress on this.

The app failed yet again to recognise my card details and declined payment .In the end after several abortive attempts to pay I removed my card details and installed an alternative held by my wife and it worked but at the cost of much stress and 1 hour of abortive time .I contacted my bank and they said the Apcoa app has been subject to security fraud breach and was on their block payments list .Beware of this company e

I parked at Reading Station in the electric bays. I clicked on the app and followed instructions to charge my car.

I returned to the station, paid for my parking and returned to my car.

I found a parking ticket and an uncharged car.

Apparently it's my fault that their App failed and they didn't charge the car.

I appealed and failed. They have now washed their hands of it.

Absolute scammers

Received and paid a penalty notice as I was rushing in the rain and forgot my ticket. My fault. 2 weeks later received an ANPR ticket for the same day. As I had parked in premium Apcoa are saying that the one I paid was because I was in premium and the other was for 'not having a ticket at all'. Was called 'my love' by the person on the call and told I was wrong in my understanding of the carpark I have parked in for 7 years! Awful awful awful

Terrible booking facility

Thankfully never got a ticket but find the website to be worse than useless. The user ability is non existent. Presumably they get these contracts as they provide the cheapest service/pay the highest rent. It shows as there is clearly no reinvestment into their systems.

Initially tried to use app

Initially tried to use app, but wouldnt let me sign on, stating saved logon details were invalid. Tried forgetten password to create new password and saved suggested complicated password . Still wouldn’t accept.
In frustration went to pay at machine, typed registration in, machine got stuck in a loop searching
This was approx 6pm and I presume there were server problems.
Eventually payment etc were accepted.
Thoroughly infuriating and useless experience using your app. The machine was extremely slow checking my registration.
Do not recommend.

Totally useless 2.5 hours to try to pay for a £2.50 ticket with no success. If you see this company sign be advised to park somewhere else. Can't even speak to anyone to resolve, just given an email or to write a letter to UK head office to complain then wait 28 days to reply🤬

zero stars

Would give this zero stars if that was an option. Tried to pay for parking today at Arundel station. Downloaded app, created an account. Wouldn't let me continue as said I had no internet when I clearly had. Finally had to call my daughter-in-law to add my details to her app.
Got home in evening & tried again to create an account on the app. Same message over & again. Went on website- doesn't recognise the station. A Google search found another link which did work but when date & time entered for tomorrow, it says unavailable. Though maybe it is full so tried several other dates to check - all unavailable. This is by FAR the worst parking app/website I have ever used. No wonder the car park is usually only half full at best. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

Awful company

Awful company. Faulty EV charging units at station which they refuse to fix and issue PCNs. Replaced existing units that worked to create their own money making scam. Absolute disgrace, even when you have paid they issue tickets. Only option on station car park. App doesn’t work and customer service terrible.

Apcoa is the worst parking app I have ever used. I would give it ZERO stars if I could.

I am sure that the Apcoa app is designed to lead people into a situation where they accidentally make mistakes and end up getting a PCN. I expected to enter the car park, thus have my registration recorded, then when I leave , sign out and pay. No can’t do that. Ok, I can late pay when I get home, but that option is not on the app, only on the website. The whole parking experience since removing the on site pay machines is an absolute nightmare with no clear instructions. Apcoa could learn a lot from Ring go which is the simplest parking app I use.
