I understand the vehicle is old but there are several improvements I would like to point out. 1) engine fault: the vehicle engine would stall and you find yourself dropping speed on the highway no matter how hard you press on the accelerator. We had to restart the engine everytime it stalls. 2) The passenger seat’s door had some problems. It had to be shut with a lot of force before it stopped blinking and warning that left door was opened. Same goes for the sliding door for the campervan. 3) the diesel door cover was loose, cover would come off, making us worried that it would fall off anytime during our journey on the road. 4) cupboards especially the pots and pans cupboard were loose, they would pop open despite being locked. All the kitchen utensils would be all over the floor. However, overall, I understand the vehicle is aging and is considered well maintained and usable. Enjoyed my journey overall with the service and staff assistance.

A compact vehicle with everything in it to make the trip comfortable. Maybe staff could have highlighted the fact that the bed needs to be set up every night and dismantled in the morning; the dining area becomes the sleeping area. Otherwise, a great vehicle.

Poorly maintained, filthy and smelled bad inside and had a very uncomfortable bed. Even though we hired the vehicle during winter the engine got very hot several times causing a low coolant warning to come on and it went it limp mode at one stage. The service offered by Apollo’s 24/7 support phone line was non existent, with them just advising to let it cool down and then add some water. There was quite a lot of external damage on the vehicle when we collected too, including panel damage on almost all external parts and the tv antenna was snapped off. Not sure where all the money for additional insurance and /or excess collected by Apollo goes but clearly they don’t repair them between hire periods.

Pick up was quick and clear and I was able to use the features of the motor home. Return was quick and simple. Motor home drove well had a great fridge and the cooler was priceless. When we had a blowout back up service was quick thorough and allowed us to continue our holiday without trouble.

Unfortunately, the vehicle we received in Perth was significantly older and more worn than expected. There were several issues from the start, including non-functioning 12V charging outlets, the entertainment/nav system worked intermittently, the TV didn't work, the wiper was so bent that it was not making contact with the windscreen, and the sliding door would occasionally open while driving.

Great to drive. Toilet fabulous overnight. Shower small but usable in a pinch. Bed comfortable. Fridge and stove cosy but enough if camping 🏕. Would do again.

1. The front end and steering were appalling. Steering wheel was 30degrees off centre. Front left shock sounded like it was broken even at low speed the rattling was very loud. 2. The side step was missing meaning that there was significant step to be negotiated - we are both in our 70s and this was dangerous. 3. The aircon leaked down the left rear wall and window, dripping onto bedding. This obviously happened before as black tape had been used on joints. 4. There was no glass turntable in the microwave. 5. There were no written instructions on the use of the toilet and the pick up hand over was rushed. 6. Hand brake was useless and had to be rotated through 45degrees to become marginally effective. 7. Couldn't connect phones to nav system. (Android phones).

It was too compact for us & not being able to walk through to front seats meant there was nowhere to sit if the bed was made up. Also no step to get into camper was very difficult.
