Doesn't download anything most of the time. Garbage!

I downloaded their screen capture software, and what is perplexing is that if a user simply wants to capture a region--in the ordinary sense without 'recording' it as a video file--which the application menu indeed indicates one can--the output is not a jpeg--which, again, there is a selection for this output, put a video file. Poorly integrated application seems like a half-baked idea put together without much serious thought.

Just paid and got the activation key but the key doesn't work - is Apowersoft a scam!?

Also had another paid subscription for lifetime which did work but after a few months it asks to reenter the activation key but it doesn't work - the software is now useless!

Email and call them - no reply. Phoned them and the machine hangs up on the calls.

It's a scam, there is no trial period, when you try to download the video they force you to pay or delete everything.

I paid $59.95 for their audio recorder. The audio recorder does not work. I clicked on support, tried to submit ticket etc. even tried calling their tech support. Nothing. You get a message that says "CALL BACK LATER". They do not respond to any ticket you submit, no emails back from them etc. I was taken for $59.95 which I am requesting refund from paddle.net the company that processes payment. My attorney said if payment isn't refunded he would file major lawsuit against Apowersoft. I also reported them to the better business bureau. This company "Apowersoft" is selling software that isn't legit or real. Do Not Buy

Tried the trial version. I recorded a half hour seminar but when it was over, AWPowerSoft only recorded rthe first ONE minute. I lost the seminar! DON'T ADVERTISE AS FREE IS IT IS NOT FREE! And notify the user that there is a ONE minute max record time for the Trial Version so we can proceed with knowledge.

Quick to take money with no response. Sent numerous emails and nobody responds plus their "AI Bot" doesn't work.

What a Scam!

Superb Service and Softwares are very usefull . I have personally use the software Apowersoft Background Eraser . It's very usefull .. easy to use and working perfectly .

I paid for Apowersofts watermark remover, and the product would not work. After emailing them for help they suggested a solution of adding a black jpeg file to the program's root folder, which didn't work. After that, I no longer got any response to my emails, including my multiple requests for a refund, which I am entitled to according to their website.

UPDATE:
Apowersoft got in touch with me recently, which I was not expecting. They politely explained what had happened and it appears it may have just been a misunderstanding. They apologized for everything, and have now given me a full refund.

I was using the free APowersoft screen recorder for my lectures. Then I decided to buy the 1-year premium program. What a mistake! They took my money, but never sent me the activation code. I tried to reach out on numerous occasions, but I only got an automated response from a third-party host telling me to wait a few days... I was really shocked to discover that APowersoft was a total scam. Please be careful@

I purchased the year subscription. I t worked once, a few days later I tried to use it and it says I do not have the subscirption. I tried contacting them and have received no response. The trial version worked great and the one day I used it after buying the subscription as a good product but now it tells me I have to upgrade by purchasing the year subscription which I have already done. *Update* well I guess they read this.. I was contacted and they fixed my issues.. program works quite well so far.. Havent had any issues with it since. It is easy to use.

I would give their product a four but their support sucks. Apowersoft life time license is not for life. I purchased Apowersoft Streaming Audio Recorder and Streaming Video Recorder in May 2014. In Nov. 2016 the audio stopped working. I submitted a ticket on their support page and Zoe emailed me a link and told me to uninstall and reinstall with the link. It worked until Micro Soft updated my computer then it stopped working. I submitted another ticket and Zoe said to uninstall and reinstall. I have been doing that every time my computer gets an update until now. Now, when I try to reinstall it I get a banner telling me I have to purchase VIP edition. After calling them many times someone finally answered the phone. The next day I got an email from Una saying they could not find my records but if I would submit screenshots of my purchase order they would sent me a new license. This I did, including a shot of the 2016 reset. So far they have done nothing except make it impossible for me to contact them again.

I bought this for a MacBook and was going to get screen captures for my Android tablet. It DOES NOT WORK. The app opens in landscape and the image from the Adroid in Portrait shrinking it so that the image is not usable. I opened a ticket about 18 months ago and they still haven't fixed it. Asked customer service for an update and they said they will have to make a decision as to whether to fix it or not sometime in the future. They had already agreed to fix it and are now stepping back on that promise. Worst customer service I have ever seen in any capacity.

Third time I've tried to renew a product, third time it's happened. There's a complicated formula to enter your passcode. Their emails on how to do it confuse you even more. A week of my sending emails they never understood: they kept sending me the same thing over and over. When I screamed CANCEL, REFUND for the 10th time they suddenly realized they were sending me codes for the wrong product. Good software, but unless you've got plenty of time and patience, don't even try.

I trialed ApowerREC, loved it, and purchased it. I love the video recording and the screen capture abilities. However, the reason I am giving them a poor review, is a few months after I purchased the software, an update they put out altered the way screen capture worked. Before I could use a hot key and create a screen shot. After the update I have to be in recording mode in order to take a screen shot. For the many screen shots that I do, an awful lot of useless videos would build up. I had to downgrade to an older version as a result. They now recommend Screen Capture Pro which would be a 2nd purchase and a little more expensive. I will not purchase anymore software from them.

I paid a monthly subscription to screen capturing video software. The product itself was great. I had the ability to adjust where and how large a portion of a screen I wanted to record.
However, their website is not user-friendly. Nowhere on the personal account page is there an option to cancel a subscription, so I had to email them, announcing my desire to unsubscribe.
I was told the finance team would contact me shortly, but they never did, and weeks later I was charged again the monthly amount.
After another email, my subscription was canceled, but without refund or apology.
I recommend taking your business elsewhere. But if you purchase from this business, it is better to purchase something full price instead of a periodic subscription, and hope that you won't run into issues requiring customer service.

I purchased Apowersoft for work purposes, and was forced to ask for a refund so that I could purchase the software personally.
I have been trying to get the refund resolved for since the end of May 2020, it is now the end of October 2020 and still no refund, even though I have called, and received an email, stating that a refund transaction would occur.
No refund.
How much longer do I have to wait and communicate with these people? How many promises will they make before I get that refund?
I can only think of a few companies with such poor customer service.
