Got a dodgy call telling me i needed to renew my warranty....told them I don't have one and where did they get my details.......they just hung up. I would avoid them.
Do not use this company keep looking they are terrible
This company is the worst I have ever come across.
We have paid them £222 and they have cancelled 6 appointments over 2 months and failed to turn up to the 7th. They refuse to refund despite two months of not fixing a new hinge to a fridge door. Despite me telling them its for an 80 year old lady, my mother. I wish I had found these reviews. Do not use them
Don't use this company
Don't use this company! Just before Christmas 2020, my integrated microwave stopped working, I use it a lot at Christmas, so I arranged with Appliance Care Uk, for an engineer to visit. I was told I would receive a message on the day with a time slot. I didn't, so I called the centre, no-one picked up, so I messaged them. I then received a time slot. However, as the end of the time slot grew nearer I called to check if the engineer was still coming and was told the engineer had just called in sick. Another appointment was arranged the following day and exactly the same thing happened!! This was the day before Christmas Eve! AND then I received a call from their head office saying that they understood I wanted to cancel the appointment???? They charge £50+ for cancelled appointments. A money making scheme??
Awful
Appliance Care UK was assigned to fix our dishwasher by the manufacturer.
Here is the timeline of events:
- An engineer was booked for us for 16 Nov. I took time off work to ensure I was there. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. We were informed a couple of days later that the engineer had come into contact with someone with coronavirus.
- The appointment was rearranged for the 24th, we were told that the engineer would come between 1 and 4pm. I ensured that I was at work in the evening so as to attend in the afternoon. Nobody showed up. Then at 645pm, nearly three hours after the alloted time, I received a call on my mobile whilst at work from an engineer wanting to be let in. The appointment had to be rearranged again.
- An engineer was booked for 30 November. We recieved a call saying that they had come into contact with someone with coronavirus.
- An engineer was booked for 5 November. We recieved a call saying that they had come into contact with someone with coronavirus.
- An engineer was booked for 8 November. We recieved a call saying that they had come into contact with someone with coronavirus.
There is a theme here. Now to be fair, I do not doubt that this happens, and I did not doubt it the first time I heard it, nor the second, by the third, I was feeling mightily unlucky.
- An engineer was booked for 10 November. This was then rescheduled to due "technical difficulties".
- An appointment was then booked for 17 November. This was cancelled due to, guess what, the engineer needed to isolate. Honestly, by this point, I do not believe it.
- An engineer was booked for 20 December. Then *gasp* I got a message saying they'd be able to come a whole day early!!! On Saturday. I even received a message giving me a time-slot of 3-6pm.
- I waited around on the day. Nobody showed up. I left several voicemails which were not responded to.
- I then phoned on Monday 21st. They did not know why nobody had shown up.
- An engineers was booked for 28 December. But then, I got another message saying I might have someone come on 24th.
- I have just received another message saying this appointment has been cancelled. The next one available is 30th December. What do you think the odds are that someone might show up? And hey, coronovirus is obviously very difficult to deal with, and that I do understand. It'd also be remiss of me to point out that we are all dealing with it, including my own business and even with all that there is no point at which any of this would ever, ever, be considered an acceptable level of service.
Awful
Awful - would not recommend. My original booking was made on November 3rd for a booking on November 5th. I paid the call out fee on the day. The time slot was given between 1-4pm. At approx. 3.45 I received a call telling me the engineer will not be coming. I was then rebooked for 8th November - the night before this appointment was cancelled. Finally engineer came out on the 11th and we needed a part ordered. I paid for the part that afternoon - I had to call a few times to get an update on the job but the part finally arrived on 20th November. I was then not given an appointment until 26th November. I would have thought having had 2 prior cancellations I would have been given more priority. The night before the engineer came down with Covid so this is now the 3rd time I have been cancelled. I then had to phone again and finally was given an appt. for the 27th November. The engineer DID finally arrive but the poor man was overworked, over tired and informed me that he is a refrigerator engineer and had been retrained to work on dishwashers. The new part was then fitted but within about 20 mins of. him leaving we had water leaking out of the bottom of the machine. Another call to Appliance Care on Saturday - left a message but no one called me back. I then called again on Monday morning and went through the whole story again. I was told someone would get back to me asap - but 12.30 today I had to phone AGAIN and been told that an engineer is now due on Saturday but no one can give me a time slot until that morning so we cannot make any plans for Saturday. I fully appreciate it we are living in unprecedented times and things can go wrong but this has now been going on since November 3rd and I am still without a working a dishwasher. Each time I had to make a payment I did immediately. I live in hope that Saturday will finally resolve the issue but the service has been appalling and at no time did I feel that anyone was looking at the catalogue of errors to do with my booking and making any effort to get things resolved. One of my first messages from Appliance Care stated that if I made a cancellation there would be £54 fee - my bill to them is now at £162.00.

I had repeating problem with my freezer. I used services of another company before but the issue kept occurring. I arranged repair with Appliance care Uk. My engineer Humza made diagnosis and very professionally sorted it out. I don’t have problem with my appliance for a while now.
Excellent Service - very happy!
Have used Appliance Care Engineering a couple of times. Fast, efficient and gets the job done each time. Highly recommended.
Many thanks. Fiona M and Mark B, Exeter, Devon
