I have been a customer of Arshad Mahmood at Apsley Tailors for 15 years, having custom suits and shirts made to measure. Arshad’s service and attention to detail are outstanding. Arshad and his team have an eye for color/fabric and quality that I appreciate. When in London, I go to Apsley. I have tried many other tailors for a wardrobe piece in the UK and USA, but never got the quality and service that I get from Arshad at Apsley.

Apsley was recommended to me by a Savile Row bespoke tailor who could not make a made to measure suit in the 10 days I had available.
The reception was fast and responsive, the results spot on and everything was delivered ahead of the promised date.
Excellent is how I would characterize Apsley. They made good suggestions and helped me to get the suit I wanted.

The service is very caring and the suits I ordered were tailored to a very high standard.

Having used them for quite a few years I am changing to a better cheaper tailor.

The quality of the material and the cut of the suit was not comparable with the price that was charged.

3 months on the suit is in baggy and uncomfortable, I am going to have to get it adjusted locally.

During the original fitting the fit was raised but they convinced me it looked good, when I got home my wife was shocked and the Apsley made no effort to fix the issue other than demand that I came to London for a refit. This would take me a whole day plus the cost of a return ticket £75.

That is the least they could do to fix the issue and visit me in Henley which is a service that they used to offer.

Apsley have obviously changed the management and attitudes are different and I would stay away.

They have forgotten about customer service and believe that they are always right.

I would seriously advise anyone considering using Apsley to think again and go to either a better London tailor of which there are many.

I have had 5 suits plus my wedding suit, numerous shirts and an overcoat made. And they are absolutely outstanding. The service and workmanship.

Couple of suits with extra pair of trousers - Very professional and all done in just two fittings! Very pleased with result and recommend without reservation - thank you guys!
