Unbelievably tasty fish!
I have bought Arbroath Smokies on 2 occasions while being in lockdown in the south of England. I came across his site and having had smokies a few years ago when in Scotland I thought I’d order some, great decision. These smokies are absolutely delicious, a really unique flavour. The second batch have just arrived. The fish are packaged in a polystyrene box with frozen gel packs so the fish arrive in great condition. Be warned, not all suppliers from the area package their fish so well for long journeys. My wife has devised all sorts of recipes to have smokies in for breakfast and lunch which I won’t detail as any Scots people reading may put their heads in their hands. I saw on-line that there is an Arbroath Smokie bible written by Iain Spink, maybe I’ll get that with the fish next time. Fantastic tasting fish and great service.
