Treated my 52 year old and two of his mates to an evening out here. What a fantastic place all our old favourites we particularly liked the pinball. A bar on every floor all selling different beers on draft and very reasonably priced. The food menu is very reasonable had a burger which would have been less dry if they buttered the bread but all in all a great time had by all and well worth the money.

Love it!

Went to Arcade Club Leeds and basically wandered around like a man-child for 6 hours. Genuinely can't think of a classic arcade game that they don't have and didn't come across *many* machines with controller issues, but there is the odd one. I'm pretty impressed overall. Decent selection of games, 95% of which seemed to be working fine. Decent amenities as well, nice and clean and even deoderant in the toilets for the unwashed masses. Even the food and bar prices are pretty good... If I had to criticise anything, it would be the parking, but there's not much Arcade Club can really do about it at that location.

WOW! Arcade Club Leeds

Revisited Leeds Arcade Club after the long overdue extension. What an amazing experience with friends. The manageress and her team were welcoming, friendly informative and helpful. The games are all well positioned and some appear to be on a rotation so there’s something new. You can break away from the noise in the cafe area for some well priced food and drink. A good value for money treat for family and friends. Thank you for a great experience - see you soon!

Visited arcade this weekend

Visited arcade this weekend, not really impressed, not a single working games console upstairs for the kids working, all had no connection to the net. The staff I thought were rude especially the so called bouncer on the door, and come to think of it why on earth have 2 bouncers on duty in a kid's club. On another point a £6 charge just to chaperone your kids about us ludicrous. Overall disappointing and I won't be visiting again.

Last time I’ll go

They clearly don’t care about making sure customers have plenty of choice as they had the place rammed. Every car park full, cars parked on nearby roads everywhere. Walked in couldn’t move, had to wait up to 30 mins for people to move on from games. The only floor that was semi quiet was the crap one with all the grandad machines at the top. Wouldn’t go again they’ve become to greedy now. Also some of the machines joysticks buttons etc where sticky as was the floors. Oh and it should definitely not have under 12s in there running round every corner into adults screaming like little girls. Place is a disaster

Great place but needs better maintenance

Great place in Leeds especially since the extension. Staff are great and so is the food and drink. Great selection of classic and modern arcade games but unfortunately 1 glaring issue and that was in the room with all the fighting classics like SF2 Mortal KOMBAT and others apart from a few machines all the rest had damaged joysticks. These machines should be checked and maintained everyday to stop this happen as that room was just empty all night which is a shame cos they are all great games in there.

Such an amazing space

Such an amazing space, I couldn’t believe I’ve never been before! All the staff were great and it was buzzing even at 3pm on a Thursday. Loved it and will be back.

Step back to all the old classics

Step back to all the old classics. Absolutely a great place to spend many hours. Visited Blackpool one. Pinball great and well looked after. There an OK burger/pizza offering for kids and a veggie option. Bar is reasonably priced too. Been a few times now and always a good visit.

Phenomenal collection

Absolutely phenomenal collection of Arcade cabinets across 4 floors, couldn't believe how big the place is and how many classic machines they had. Wanted to move in.

All good fun

Went to the one in Bury. All the family enjoyed it. Great selection of retro games and up to date games. My lad enjoyed the VR games.
The food was limited to pizza, hotdog and burger. No chips available instead tortilla chips/nachos. These were at a very reasonable price. We got given a bleeper after we ordered so we could continue gaming until or food was ready. Clever idea.
The only reason it didn’t get full starts is actually not their fault, but they might be able to change it in future was that when we got our food people were taking up tables when not eating or being on laptops working which caused us walking around for a few minutes waiting for a table.
Overall a good affordable day out with the kid.

What a waste of money

Arcade club Bury,, what a waste of money

Couldn't get on any of the good machines, the place was packed with people, they let too many people in.

I went with my daughter and she wasn't happy we waited around one hour to see if any of the good machines became free they didn't, and they were still letting more people in knowing full well the place was packed.

Greedy company we won't be going back again,we left after an hour

Arcade club Bury

Went to the Arcade club in bury today with 3 kids ages 10,9 and 2 and no one got bored, we was there for 8 hours, lots of comfortable couches for the toddler to have a nap, whilst the older ones played Mario kart etc. food was cheap and tasty, bar was cheap. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Better than bury black pudding!!

The amount of quality games in 1 place is awesome! My autistic sons loved it due to the relaxed atmosphere and not just bangin music like at tourist arcades can't rate highly enough and for the price it's a no brainer!! Staff are very friendly and helpful ( loved chatting to jd) and the beer is a quality pint too😀

Arcade Club - Could be a lot better

I have visited Arcade club Bury 2 times now once 2 years ago and again this week.
I must say that it was a far better experience 2 years ago than it was this week.
The reasons for my gripes are these:-
1. The toilets are very grim especially later in the day they need new toilets and there is no reason for the state of them its just poor.
2. Very oversubscribed I could not get on anything with the exception of a few ancient games up on the top floor most stuff which was worth playing had people camping on it all the time for hours on end.
3. Seating in the food areas again people not eating just sat waiting for there families mostly parents on phones whilst kids on arcades. If this is going to be the case set up an area for them so they are not stopping people sitting down for meals or put a 1hr time limit on tables.
4. Ventilation it was so hot but again this goes hand in hand with the oversubscription too many people.
5. I understand they need to make money but I wont be returning as I did not feel I got value for money and I initially thought it was cheap but in the end it worked out about £2 per game for the machines I managed to get on and most of them were 10p machines so poor value really.

Finally it was so much better 2 years ago even though the toilets were as bad not half as many people and you could get on games and there was VR which has gone completely now.

outstanding in every way

i've been to both arcade clubs in bury and leeds several times now: i live quite far away from both, but it's well worth the drive to either! it's really cheap for the amount of stuff there - you only have to pay an entry price, and then all the games inside are free to play for the whole day. parking on-site is free too.

the atmosphere in arcade club was amazing and i felt really excited the entire day, i wasn't bored for a moment. the amount of machines means that people are distributed pretty evenly and that you don't have to wait long (if at all) to get on the machine you want.
there were no problems with the machines as far as i could tell (only one was out of order, and this was awaiting replacement parts). the machines were clean, in great condition and clearly very well looked after, and they had loads of obscure ones usually only available in arcades in japan.
the staff were extremely friendly and clearly very passionate about the arcade and showed genuine interest and enthusiasm while i was playing on the vr in leeds, haha. both arcades had seating areas and offered food/drink at low, affordable prices.

the only advice i would give if visiting bury (i'm not sure if this applies to leeds aswell as it's a newer building and i last visited in the winter) was that it inevitably gets pretty warm in the arcade later in the day as it gets a bit busy and obviously there are a lot of machines on at once, and while they do have air conditioning i suggest wearing light clothes if visiting in the warmer months.
you can tell how much of the money they make goes straight back into the arcade, it's always nice to see a place that really truly cares about people's enjoyment rather than just making a profit. overall, well worth the relatively cheap entry cost (and long drive, in my case) any day, great fun for both kids and adults. i only wish i lived closer!

We went to the Arcade Club in Bury for…

We went to the Arcade Club in Bury for my Boyfriend's birthday. Quite cheap entry considering the amount of free to play games that was in the three floors. A large selection and kept us entertained for hours and hours. The food was nice enough and relatively cheap, we would definitely come here again!!

If Tyler Durden opened an Arcade

Excellent place. I have been many times.
Great atmosphere. Feels like you're in a secret underground club, all dark and neon painted walls.
Set in a old Lancashire Mill on multiple floors. They have games for everyone, old original upright arcade machines, pinball to modern VR, PC's and consoles. They have a large selection of Japanese imports too.

The customers are like minded and the staff are friendly and seem like gamers themselves.
Prices seem expensive to get in but it's well worth it. Every game is on Free Play. Even the brand new arcade machine are on Free Play.
Food and drinks are great and the prices really good too. They have a selection of bottled beer's.
Recommend for families throughout the day and groups of mates in the evenings until late.
I've also visited the Arcade Club in Leeds which is the same as Bury but Leeds is in a new building rather than a Old Mill.
