Breaking the 14 day online return
Order some expensive snickers trouser from here which was too small and arco wanted to charge me 20% to return the item. This is breaking the online consumer act which states 14 days right to cancel. Avoid at all costs , trading standards will be getting involved

Thanks for the feedback- I believe you are currently in discussion with our complaints team regarding this.
As outlined in the order confirmation, the trousers ordered were a non-stocked product and are dispatched directly from the manufacturer. The product is not covered under our standard return terms and conditions, with return costs being set by the manufacturer.
I'm sorry that this was not as clear as it could have been. I'll look into ways that we can improve visibility of any charges.
As a note, we do not have any return charges for 'stocked' product at Arco.

My grandson had 2 pairs or workwear…
My grandson had 2 pairs or workwear trousers fro ARCO at a cost of £113 per pair. The quality of the trousers were dreadful seams on both pairs opened the label seams opened ant the metal button on one pair fell off . When I complained was told it was normal wear ant tear on trousers that were only worn one one week the other the next week. So we’re in fact less than 3 months old in total wearing time. Would not replace or refund as said it was normal. The price of these trousers was disgraceful for the quality . They were not fit for purpose and I will be referring them to trading standards.I do not recommend this company.

We'd love to be able to investigate this in more detail, but as highlighted by our complaints team, I'm afraid we are unable to complete the investigation without proof of purchase from Arco. This is required to not only confirm purchase date and product, but also refund payment, if required.
The images provided display heavy usage and damage, but we will be happy to return the product to investigate more closely (once proof of purchase has been confirmed). We'd also like to support your grandson to ensure he is using the correct product for the environment he works in. These expensive trousers may not be required, and there may be a harder-wearing more affordable product available.
I hope we can work together to resolve this quickly.

I purchased some safety trainers from here and they really rubbed my feet so bad that all my toenails were bruised. I took the trainers back and the customer service I got from a guy called Chris was absolutely superb, he changed them no problem and gave me some great advice on a replacement purchase!

I use the Arco website to place orders for the company i work for, despite some glitches where you have to be pin point precise when selecting a page number the website is very easy to use once you have your details set up.
There customer service team is the best i have encountered as well, they will endeavour to fulfil your query and when they say they will call you back they really do and without having to wait all day, overall a great experience purchasing through them.

I always buy work wear with embroided…
I always buy work wear with embroided logo from Arco, it is great value for money, wears and washes well, some staff are wearing polo shirts that are 8 years old!
I did have a problem in that I was sent the wrong sized shorts, but it was quickly sorted and right size were sent.

Poor quality & service
Delivery times attrocious (ordered in Feb, still waiting in June for half the order).
Non-branded items poor quality despite not being the 'cheap' options.
Branding of items has been poor (heat seals incorrect, embroidery faulty on one item - returned nearly a month ago and not heard back since).
Prices expensive as standard but the 30% off quarterly events make them reasonable price.
Customer service poor - general lack of communication and information given is often not correct. E.g. when order was placed we were told middle of April for completion which has been pushed back again and again but you don't find out until you chase.

Staff are helpful when I go in, always find what I need in time.
Plus you can customise your stuff with embroidery!!

ordered 2 pairs of safety boots, 2 months later....
ordered 2 pairs of safety boots, 1 x 11 and 1 x 8. received 2 size 11's 1 month later, rang up to return one and enquire about the size 8's. weeks later another 2 size 11's turned up. then the following week 2 size 8's ! i now have to arrange for 3 pairs of boots to be returned and this has been going on for 2 months. I ordered a pair of size 8's from screwfix and they were here the following day !
