My driving instructor Ashley was not only a brilliant teacher but a brilliant person. I got along well with Ashley and looked forward to my driving lessons with him we had great conversations and he really made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. He really helped me master my weaknesses and persisted on me being the best at every manoeuvre. His teaching methods where great at helping me past my test.

Around the bend was great. We'll particularly the instructor Ashley. I moved over from red as was being messed about and charged a fortune. Annoying thing is I am slightly older than most and been a biker for 10 years on the road so my awareness was second to none. Ashley notice my experience and spent a week together and improved my faults very quickly. Lovely guy genuine and humble unlike these robotic trainers I have used before. If you book with them ask for ashley he is your man! He might even buy you a coffee if you can revers Park into a space lol thanks guys great price great service.

He is very experienced and passionate about his job,my experience with him was very easy and enjoyable also he is very friendly and funny guy,I definitely would recommend him to anyone to learn driving

Honestly one of the best companies to go with. I had ashley and he was such an incredible instructor. I passed in 19 hours with one minor so I forwarded him onto a fee more people and they all passed very quickly too. Ashley really helped me a lot and I'm so thankful to him. If you want to start driving I would highly recommend him to absolutely anyone.

Used Around the bend driving school great instructor Ashley Waston great guy to learn from had lots of bad habits but didnt take long for him to get them out of me would recommend Around the bend much better than all the rest good prizes and offers

Ashley is a really good driving instructor and, to be honest, one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. He praises you when you do well and explains how to rectify mistakes you make when driving, so that they don’t happen again. Over the time that you spend learning with him, he truly helps you become a better, more confident driver. Would 100% recommend to anyone that is looking for an instructor.

James Cross in York was a brilliant instructor! Made learning seem very easy! I would recommend him to everyone I know for driving lessons!

He had patience and helped me to improve the driving issues I had. He always praised me when I drove well and gave me feedback on what needed improvement, by being with Ashley it helped me to become a confident driver and made driving by my self a lot easier. I recommend anyone to go with Ashley.

Ash is the best, I was such a nervous driver and struggled so much to start with, but every step of the way he supported me and always had faith in me, even when I didn’t. Would recommend him to anyone, such an easy going and chilled guy, really knows how to teach every ability and personality. If I could I’d give infinite stars as 5 stars just doesn’t go the man justice.

I had Ashley as my instructor and he was awesome. Very experienced and understanding. I passed with him and my younger sister will have him as her in instructor next year. Couldn't ask for anymore!!

I had Ashley as an instructor. Really nice guy with tonnes of experience and a great teacher. Because of his knowledge and his great help I passed first time pretty quickly. Always looked forward to my lessons and he’s just a nice guy too which I think is important. Would fully recommend

I had SIMON as my driving instructor and he was just amazing! I suffer really bad with anxiety due to this with previous instructors I had 3 failed attempts at my driving test.
I then decided to go with "around the bend" after all the good reviews.
I was placed with simon as he is known for helping people drive who suffer with anxiety and... he did just that! And I finally passed my test in skipton last week!
Thank you for all your help Simon I will definitely be recommending you.

Ash was my instructor and honestly he was amazing he reassures you and makes sure that you are happy and comfortable. Definitely would recommend him to anybody wanting lessons.

Ash was a great instructor. I was a very nervous driver and Ash put me at ease and was patient with me. He always ensured he praised me when I did well and gave honest feedback at the end of lessons and really helped me grow to be a confident driver. I would give more stars if I could. Passed first time with Kev Emery - great instructor. I was contacted by Around The Bend within 10 minutes of enquiring and my first lesson was sorted the same day. Definitely recommend!
