Artfire takes no responsibility for their vendors they host. Here is their position statement:
ArtFire Customer Service Team (ArtFire.com)
Jun 29, 2021, 10:01 AM MST
Hello,
ArtFire provides a listing service similar to a classified ad. Anyone is welcome to list and sell on ArtFire as along as they comply with our Terms of Service. Those terms include a requirement to ship products in a timely fashion and communicate with buyers. If Sellers fail to comply with our TOS they are removed from the platform and their shops are closed. We do remove sellers on a regular basis who have not fully complied with our TOS. All purchases are made between buyer and seller. ArtFire does not process payment or have access to any funds. This means that a buyer can always dispute or initiate a chargeback directly with their payment provider.
Sincerely,
ArtFire Customer Service
conspiracy?
Artfire is a scam supported by the state of Arizona and the city of Tucson since 2011. How can the state continue to rip people off from their state. Apparently artfire pays enough 'taxes' for the state to turn a blind eye to this ongoing scam. Please report your violation to the federal trade Commission.
Scammers
Best price on the web for everything under the sun EXCEPT you never get what you ordered, i.e. I ordered a craft cutting machine I got an envelopes with disposable masks. Looks great with paypal since they did ship the item. >:-/ . No customer service. The stores quickly disappears from the website after your purchases. Although I got reimbursed from paypal under the buyers' protection. They are scams.

This website storefront has mini storefronts under their umbrella.
Many of these storefronts are scam, fake. too good to be true.
Beware buying anything off of this website.

This page is a scammer because I asked for a stroller and they charged me $ 99 and it never came to me, they are scammers, I will report them badly, they will pay it.
Do not buy from anyone in this…
Do not buy from anyone in this place...I've had to get refunded from PayPal 2 times in a row from 2 separate sellers...so be aware...and beware...as others have said i also was told both time through paypal there was a tracking number and already delivered...but to a different adress....I never received anything...
Scammers - Postal Inspection Investigation Engaged
My parents ordered picnic tables from artfire. Money was immediately taken from their account. They never received shipment information. They finally contacted paypal...who indicated that a tracking number was supplied to Paypal and the tracking confirms a delivery. The delivery was made to a different address. Following up with the post office proved that pictures the post office had of the package with matching tracking number did not show a package large enough to hold a picnic table. The Postal Inspection Service has been engaged and is investigating our case for fraud. I hope they get caught and get what they deserve! Its a shame people are such a-holes. We believe the scam is this... you place and order...the seller takes your money...doesn't provide a tracking number to you....the seller sends something with a tracking number to a different address on purpose...any address...and once its delivered the tracking is updated. When you contact Paypal looking for your items they will deny a refund because the package was technically delivered - just not delivered to you nor with your correct item. This is the crap we are currently dealing with. STAY AWAY from this site! Its fraudulent and we are ^&^&%#@(% that Paypal would continue to allow transactions to this site.
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS SITE
Run don't walk to nearest exit and STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!!!!!!!
They are scammers take your money don't receive any items you purchased and will not return any type of communication to you. How they can do this to other people is cruel and evil. Taking thier hard earned money and running. I LEARNED MY LESSON THE HARD WAY.... Stay Away! There are enough reports on them right now ........people in high places know what there up too. I hope they get what they deserve.
BEWARE!!!
BEWARE!!!! This a scam!!! Shame on these people!!! I can afford losing my money, but I feel for the people that can't afford it. I will contact the BBB and I recommend anyone else who has been scammed by artfire.com to do the same. And I differently recommend to advise your credit card about artfire.com also!!!
My review is that I had to find out…
My review is that I had to find out what the scam was and saw all these reviews. Its amazing but the old phrase if it sounds too good to be true it is. Or as P.T, Barnum was thought to have said a sucker is born every minute. Its a good lesson that if these people had grown up in NY would have known already. Im guessing mostly people from universities ...woke majors! LOL
Beware
Beware! ArtFire is a TOTAL SCAM!
I ordered a KitchenAid Rotisserie for my grill. Months later, nothing shipped. No communication from vendor. No way to reach vendor! But they had NO PROBLEM charging my AmEx account for product that never shipped months later!
HORRIBLE SCAM!
Seller tries to scam me and ruin my finances!
I saw a laptop there that was selling for $90 and it seemed like such a good deal because the other laptops that was exactly like this was $350, i asked the seller about this because it felt to good to be true and i asked the seller about it he claimed "This product is so cheap compared to competitors because a warehouse bought too many of this and could not sell it fast enough so they have to get rid or it as fast as possible." So i placed a order and asked the seller where it was or for the tracking number. The seller said "for privacy reasons i cant give you the tracking number" i was beginning to be pissed by this but just let it be. 2 weeks of no updates from the seller i asked when it would most likely be coming and he said "Its been delayed and we are facing some issues with the warehouse but we should be ready to ship it in a few days." So i waited another 2 weeks and asked them again where it was, IT TOOK THEM 3 WEEKS TO RESPOND TO THIS. They said "please be patient we are going through technical difficulties and you asking us basically where it is every week is not helping." I was stunned by this i was ready to call my bank for a chargeback to my card but for some reason i just thought it would ship. I asked them for the final time after 1 month about the item and they told me it was on its way. I waited 3 weeks and finally found a laptop i really wanted and had enough of this seller. I contacted him to tell him i am charging back the item because it took too long, the seller livid, he said "No, you cant chargeback as its on its way and i have been working tirelessly to ensure it was delivered as soon as possible, you cant just charge back like that you would have to pay the shipping and logistics for the product." I thought fine might as well get it over with and he sent me an invoice for shipping and logistics for $150. I was fuming and thought it was an error i contacted the seller and he said it is that much without taxes for all the countries it crossed which would make the total $220. I was fuming and just decided to chargeback the money but my bank would not let me because the seller had contacted them a day after i wrote about charging back and told them i was scamming the seller and he managed to convince them of this. I told my bank to contact them after going back and forth the bank and seller agreed i would not have to pay for shipping or taxes but wont get my laptop nor my $90. I just let it go but if i ever see that seller in real life i would give him a piece of my mind, and based on the reviews here all sellers there are just fakers. Honestly that seller went as far as trying to reduce my credit score by reporting a late payment on that shipping logistics and taxes fee he was trying to screw over my credit score. I dodged that bullet by showing my bank our conversation but man what a waste of $90.
I have had a terrible experience with Artfire
I have had a terrible experience with this website. I purchased a chest freezer and never received it. I contacted the seller multiple times but they did not respond. The seller sent me a USPS tracking number but it wasn’t even for my freezer. It was for a small package. I even contacted the customer support and they didn’t respond. Don’t buy from this website or you will get scammed.
I ordered a gpu...
I ordered a gpu from a store called housewares. After the purchase was completed the store's account was deleted and I've had no contact from the seller. It's been a month and no word or product. Artfire customer support told me to file a dispute with my bank. My bank told me to file a dispute with the seller directly. There is no recourse here. Do not buy from this site.
I was about to purchase a camera from…
I was about to purchase a camera from this site. It has become my habit to check reviews from ANY ONLINE RETAILER BEFORE BUYING because I have been scammed several times from other sites. Ridiculous that a buyer has no relief from fraud on the internet sites in question.
Trust Truspilot for accurate reviews. And thanks to all of the buyers sharing their experiences on this site. You make a diffetence, save people money , time, and effort by posting your experiences.
My partner ( with terminal cancer in final stages of life) wanted me to have his last birthday gift to me. I am so glad I came to Trustpilot reviews FIRST. About this company. The prices for a digital camera were really too low for the cameras. Red flag!!
So I came straight to reviews. So glad I investigated. In this day of internet buying , SCAMS ARE RAMPANT WITH NO BUYER RECOURSE TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY THE INTERNET COMPANIES RUNNING THESE SITES.
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HONEST REVIEWS. I BELIEVE YOU. AND I WILL NOT PURCHASE FROM ARTFIRE.
Beware Artfire.com offers no buyer protection and allows fraudulent sellers on their website. I would avoid this company.
I have had a terrible experience with this company. I purchased sneakers through a seller on Artfire.com and I never received my order. I contacted both the seller and Artfire.com about a week after my order was placed and Artfire.com gave me a generic email response asking me to wait 48 hours for a response from the seller. After I read this email I searched for the seller online and found multiple items listed through Artfire.com but the links brought you to a web page on Artfire.com that says the seller's account was not active. I emailed Artfire.com asking why I was not informed that this seller's account was not active/suspended and they gave me another generic email response asking me to wait 48 hours without answering my question. It was obvious to me that this seller had already been suspended for scamming others but Artfire.com did not confirm this nor express any sympathy for this situation. Other companies would admit the seller was fraudulent and at the least apologized for the issue. I never received a response from the seller after the 48 hours and I learned that Artfire.com will do nothing to help you besides emailing the seller and when they don't receive a response, they tell you to contact your financial institution to dispute the charge. So basically they tell you it's your problem to get your money back. Read the terms on Artfire.com and you will see that they take no responsibility for problems between the seller and buyer. It's also obvious that Artfire.com allows fraudulent sellers on their website and when their customers get scammed, they do not offer any buyer protection. Do yourself a favor by believing all the negative reviews and avoid this website.

i order firepit on May 21 and received email that they received order but never heard from them. so i emailed them asked them for tracking & never heard anything. on May 31 my card was charged again. I been trying to get hold of business but no way to contact them.
this is a scam.
Artfire is a Great Venue Full of Handmade and Vintage Sellers
There are real Handmade, Vintage and Supply sellers at Artfire.com who are not scammers. Artfire is a Marketplace Venue where actual real sellers have shops. They do NOT sell new goods such as swimming pools and refrigerators. If you're not sure how about emailing a shop owner first and if they don't answer don't buy there. There is a SMEAR campaign for some reason slandering Artfire as a website by fake shoppers. After tons of ACTUAL real shop owners spent years building there reputation there these nasty fake shoppers are trying to tear it down. I don't work there but I used to sell there and its a good place to be. I also buy there and haven't had any problems. Check out the shops, email the sellers, read the descriptions. Don't believe everything you read on the Internet.
