Shambles of a service

Attended Asda longwell green to get a photo cake but there was none in store so I went to Filton where I found a cake went to get the photo machine was told the machine had been removed six months ago so I’m not sure why the store is still selling photo cakes asked if I could then go to longwell Green and use their machine they said yes went back to longwell Green only need to find out that their machine is broken and then they’ve been told they’re not able to put a sign on the machine to let people know which seems ridiculous. In the mist of this I also spoke to customer services on the phone and in store and neither of them told me that your stores were no longer doing the photos all the machines have been removed or not working. You can’t contact stores directly and have to speak to a general customer service who don’t know the store have given me wrong advice on 2 occasions and can not check stock availability. To say I won’t be going to another Asda store in my lifetime would be an understatement. Absolute shambles and costumers services need to review what service they are actually providing because it’s not for the customer.
On top of that their website is terrible and gives out wrong information
I don’t know who is running these stores but they need a revamp

Difficult Tin opening

Reasonable prices and like there own brands but difficulty in opening the tins ie own brand tin beans with an opener surely all tins can be changed to pull open system

The smoke plumes of asda

There was apparently a flume of belowing smoke coming from a store is coedkernew pencarn way in which there was also power cuts a nearby school was evacuated and all shopping had to be left at tills and store had too be evacuated appart from staff it seem a fire engine was called but management seemed to be ok with staff in store if there had been a real fire it wouldve been worse it was stressfull i understand but it coudve been managed better

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience trying to order a photo cake today. I first visited Asda Queslett, where I was told the printing machine was broken. Given previous experiences where 'Out of Order' signs seem to appear for convenience rather than actual faults, I found this hard to believe.
​I then drove to Asda Perry Barr, hoping for better luck. While the machine there was working, there was no bakery staff available to operate it. Customer service informed me they had finished for the day, despite it only being 6:30 PM.
​Asda needs to hire more dedicated professional staff or better motivate their current team. I found a complete lack of willingness to work and help customers at both locations today.

Robbers!!!

Accidentally put 2 x £20 in the self serve till and it didn't give me the extra £20 back.
I waited for the till to be checked the next day and strangely enough.... " There wasn't a discrepancy ".

I said that it should have been checked with 2 members of staff but they said the person was " trustworthy "...
My point is proven!!
Absolute con artists!
I hope the person checking the till enjoys the £20.

Tahena kawsrn and Andrew Horn always serve us on the checkouts on a Thursday night. I have to say how delightful they are and what a pleasure it is when we see them. Makes our weekly shopping trip an absolute delight. This Asda is truly my home from home and could not ask for a better service.

Ordered a microwave, wasn't delivered. Told it was out of stock. Tried to call Asda Customer service, wasted 30 mins being passed to 7 different people who didn't have a clue. Completed waste of time. Don't buy from Asda!

Be very careful when you purchase from…

Be very careful when you purchase from here, because they mis sold me two tobacco products at a higher cost than was refunded. Had we not discovered that a product was faulty, we would never have known of the overcharge on two products.

The customer service has been appalling - ignored emails, and when I have taken it to court, their defence is just "we deny all allegations". Lawyers language is just awful. As if I would want to waste my time on telling lies. They actually asked me to prove if I even bought the tobacco there, and if we had brought one back, knowing that the Asda representative who refunded my husband for the faulty dry tobacco kept hold of my original receipt. I spent a day putting together a response to their defence, together with all evidence, then their legal team decide they want to just settle it and pay.

FFS, do Asda even want to retain me as a customer, because these legal people are just so condescending to its customers, when it was Asda that mis sold two tobacco products. I have no idea how many others they mis sold to, their legal team doesn't seem to care about Asda's wrongdoing.

Companies like this should be ashamed of themselves. I've had no apology, no refund, and to be accused of lying is just shameful of this Supermarket giant.

Very, very poor Service from Asda delivery Service. To be quite honest the service was appalling half a delivery was missing. The driver was very unhelpful. I’ve given this a one star rating really I wanna leave a zero star.

Very poor

Ate in their cafe and was not impressed at all.
Choose the large of the breakfasts
Very poor quality tomatoes just a sludge. Beans and bacon along with the egg.
Very poor all and meager portions of beans.
Bacon few slices but 3 sausage not very good.
Okay under £8. With no drink that is extra .
The only good point the staff are very accommodating and friendly .
Especially the overseas gentleman.
Sorry I will not choose to eat there again unless it perks up.
Iwould rather spend abit more for a decent breakfast.

I have had to reorder 3x because my parcel was dumped outside the delivery house address snd stolen on 2 of the occasions.
One of the reorders I ordered to be collected at a store branch and was told my order has been cancelled when I called to chase the order, because I had not heard anything 2 weeks after I made the order. Their reason for cancelling the order was due to problem with the delivery company hmmm. Then I was told on the phone I would have to go online to reorder. What a hassle when I just want a pair of sunglasses and cap for my toddler. Shame their service is so poorly
All I received was £6 compensation

Great team leader Abi

I had a return to make which was more complicating and i needed assistance. The team leader in Tottenham Hale shop - Abi, was extremely patient and helpful and even provided me with a bag and label for my return! She was really nice.

Used the click and collect option

Used the click and collect option, had a booking time of 11am, arrived on time and had to sit and wait over 40 minutes for my items to arrive. Service is dreadful, the staff couldn't care less.

I would highly recommend you find and alternative supplier

Have I been scammed

I bought a blender online that got overheated when I used just about 30sec.
When I told asda about it I was told to send it to the leyton store.
At the leyton store my order number was collected and the blender also received and was told to expect the refund within 7 to10 working days. I did not receive any refund after 10 working days.
I tried calling the store after 14 working days only to be told by one of their unhelpful staff that my order number could not be found.
I don't even know what to do now!
Looks like I have been scammed.

6 bottles of Wine. All Advertised as being
available. The following day. Delivered
to my home. Only 2 bottles of the Wine ordered Online. With 2 Substitutes!!!
So I only received 4 Bottles of Wine!?
False Advertising on the Website.

I am not as Asda customer I shop…

I am not as Asda customer I shop waitrose.Marks & Spencer .Occasionally Tesco and Sainsbury's reason I don't shop Asda as there are 2 huge ones by me is they are grubby looking stores fridges dirty not clean self service till dirty only thing clean is there shopping baskets 5 stars for that .But I nipped into Asda Trafford park again another grubby dirty unkept looking store I don't blame Asda but the general manager in charge it's job to look after the store.I purchased bakery rolls which were nice and exceptional apple and blackcurrant crumble cake off the bakery section after trying to find a clean till to pay ..I must say it's probably the nicest sponge cake I have had in years it out does Marks &Spencer who are renowned for cakes .I certainly will be purchasing more 5 stars to Asda but just wish they had better store management should have cleaners constantly checking fridges for spilt food checking dirty floors and tills ..
