Avoid Ashtead Technology. I paid £458 for a day's hire of their supposedly top-of-the-range articulated borescope, having patiently explained the job — 20 metres of pipe, specified diameter, the lot — to several different people, on several different phone calls.
The articulation was theatrical at best. The cable had no rigidity, no spine. Steering it was like pushing a piece of wet string round a corner.
Getting the equipment in the first place was a marathon of bureaucracy: repeated calls, forms, confirmations of confirmations, all in service of a device that turned out to be incapable of its single advertised function.
