Good to deal with on the phone, fair prices, excellent packaging and delivery.

We went to the Tea Room for a Ice tea and jacket potato. We sat outside to eat and was surprised to see a dog owner not only allowing her dog to eat off the plate but licking the other plate that had cake on it.
One of the Staff came over and to our surprise she had NOT come over to tell the customer, but instead she started to hold and fuss the dog, stroking it and allowing 'dog hair' to get on her clothes, then she went back behind the food counter to handle the food. We own 4 dogs and would never allow them to lick plates, neither would I expect to serve food to my family after fussing them...LET ALONE THE PUBLIC.
What about health and safety guys.....are your staff for real??????????

First time we have been to the tea rooms for a long while but thought we would revisit for breakfast for a change. From memory we used to think the ladies taking your order could be a little more cheery and not so serious. So happened that our order was taken by such a person who I did not see smile once. Whilst in the queue I saw the cakes on display which looked rather nice. But £4 a slice seemed a little excessive I thought. Moving on, our breakfast was served promptly on hot plates (good). However, my full English was just warm with the toast bunged on top making it a bit soggy. The wife had mushrooms on toast. Basically, just boiled mushrooms with limp toast with poor presentation. Again, not very hot. Looking around I couldn't help but think that this place hasnt changed in donkeys years. The same as the uninmaginative breakfast choice. A bit of a revamp would be an idea but having said that this place is very popular with the SAGA folk who come in their droves so why bother? Overall, a most disappointing visit not to be repeated.

I ordered a few shrubs from Ashwood Nurseries, the plants arrived via courier in very secure packaging. The plants look healthy and had useful growing instructions provided as well. Highly recommended, I would definitely buy from them again.

I Placed an order for two plants online which are not generally available from most nurseries. One of these deteriorated over the next week or so.
After contacting them and submitting a photo of the two plants side by side they were very helpful and sent me a replacement which I received within four days.
Good quality plants and an excellent service.

We had been given an afternoon tea voucher by a friend. Not being big fans of sweet cake we rang up to see if we could 'upgrade' to a lunch, paying any difference. Answer - NO! No talking about it, just NO from a very rude member of staff on the phone!!

Tables far too close together & the cafe was overcrowded .
My friend was away from our table . Three members of staff asked me to move to a smaller table as they were busy .
I explained that my friend was not well & I was not able to move to a more crowded area without her consent .
I was then asked to move by a manager without my friends opinion .
Given we are still living with Covid 19 & the majority of the customers were elderly , I felt pressurised , unwelcome & very anxious
Neither of us will be returning .

I have been buying perennial plants for around thirty years from numerous nursery outlets. Three years ago I bought some plants from Ashwoods. Now I would now never buy anywhere else. Their plants are more mature.
They are very reasonably priced. The deliveries are made very quickly. An example of their wide stock range.Six months ago I designed and planted a winter flowering heather bed. They are already in flower now and look great. Ashwoods stock one hundred and forty different species of heather.

Visited Ashwood Tea Rooms last Sunday. We were disgusted that after asking for a tea with extra hot water we were told it would be 40p for hot water!!! As the tea pots are so tiny extra hot water is needed. How can this charge be justified when the hot water is already on tap!!! No other cafe we have visited before or after this incident has charged. After a heated discussion with the manager we left feeling very disappointed & upset. We as a family have visited Ashwood regularly over many years & this has really upset us.

Order was delivered really fast and in great condition would recommend and will be using again.

I ordered on Monday evening, my beautiful plants, very well packed, arrived first thing on Wednesday morning. I couldn't fault the service on delivery of unusual plants that would be hard to find locally in a garden centre.

First time ordering and I am so impressed. I ordered 4 Salvia plants (bit of an obsession) and they we’re about four times the size I’ve had from other on line nurseries for the same price. Excellent quality, arrived in under 48 hours from ordering on a weekend. I’m thrilled with them and will be buying all my online plants from here from now on, very well packaged as well. Just wish I lived close enough to visit in person.

I am utterly blown away with my recent order from this nursery. My hydrangea is much bigger than the plants you normally get with an online order. Ordering was easy and delivery was quick and efficient. I can heartily recommend and I will most certainly be ordering from this nursery again.

We had been staying in nearby Kingswinford and on our last day (today) we thought we'd visit a Garden Centre for a look around.
I have to say that without any doubt Ashwood is streets ahead of any Garden Centre my wife or I have ever visited, and we've been to a lot.
Ashwood is the Benchmark which, in our opinion, all Garden Centres should aspire.
The overall layout, cleanliness and order was impeccable and all the plants seemed extremely healthy.
The service received from the Nurseries and Restaurant Staff was beyond reproach.
Al in all an excellent visit even though it's 87 miles from home.
It's a pity we can't give them more stars.

Delivery was super quick, packaging was good, and my roses look ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. What more could I ask for? Definitely will be giving them business again.

Overjoyed with our first delivery of plants today. These were a good size and very healthy. The delivery was very rapid. Looking forward to ordering from Ashwood Nurseries in the future.

Had an email last week advising that the very rare and hard to find Myosotidium hortensia was in stock. Reserved one and went to collect it. What a stunning plant! A massive 7 litre pot with a huge plant in full bloom - £16! Absolutely amazing. People were stopping in the nursery and asking what the stunning plant in the trolley was. When I got it home and people saw it, the same reaction. This is a first rate nursery which sells some amazing plants. It is a joy to visit. Every plant is looked after and in the best of health and prices are often very good indeed for the quality of the plant. I even found Magnolia wilsonii which I thought I would never get hold of! Fabulous!

Purchased 5 sarcococca confusa online. Plants arrived in a couple of days and were in excellent condition. They were carefully packed so there was no damage. The price was good, including the charge for postage. Staff were pleasant. I will definitely buy from the nursery again.
