Very well planned and conducted. Mr. Fawzy from this group accompanied us throughout and did an outstanding job. They made our overall experience of Egypt unforgettable.

This is my second time using Ask Aladdin tour company and they have once again done excellently in their service, flexibility and detailed information about every aspect of the trip which has made it so memorable. Our tour director Fawzy was so professional with exceptional customer service, determined to ensure we had a wonderful experience. He was able to customize our tour further to meet our requests and clearly very connected with the locals, we felt safe and taken care of with Fawzy. I would recommend the company and especially our tour director to anyone interested in visiting Egypt.

This is our 3rd trip to Egypt. We were concerned about safety before we left but we were in great hands with Mr Fawzy of Ask Aladdin. This is 2nd trip with them.
We were in Egypt January 23-February 3, 2024.
Exceptional airport pick-up and transfers. Comfortable van, excellent driver and we went at our pace to sites to see sites visited before and new sites like Nubian Village and Alexandria.
All details (restaurants. hotels and security) to our liking. Strong police presence throughout country in places of interest to tourists.
Mr Fawzy so helpful explaining customs and sites visited.

I contacted them through a reference from our friend. We were 5 people and booked 9 day trip which also included 4 nights cruise over Nile river. We were pleasantly surprised by how well it was organized from start to end. We were received at Cairo airport by Ahmed who helped us in obtaining visa and get into our vehicle. Fawzy was our guide and he was with us for the entire duration of our trip. The Nile river cruise was beautiful on a very nice ship called Awzan. Fawzy became our good friend. There is no aspect of the trip where we felt dissatisfied. I will highly recommend them.

Ask Aladdin personalised our recent 22 day tour of Egypt and Jordan. It was fantastic! We were delighted with all the plans they made for us. Our guides were excellent and really made our holiday special for us. Both Fawzy in Egypt and Loey in Jordan were very knowledgeable and friendly. Fawzy was great company, with us for almost a fortnight in Egypt and he particularly assisted us to see and experience many amazing things and miss the crowds. Ask Aladdin ensured that we were met and assisted through every airport we used. Our drivers in both Egypt and Jordan were highly skilled and responsive to our needs. We would highly recommend this type of tour which allows travellers to go where and when they want, backed up with the local knowledge and experience of these guides.

We have used “ Get your guide” at home in the Uk and most recently in Dubai.
The company is brilliant. We were able to rearrange our tour time without issue even though it was less than 24 hours before the tour.
We did the Aladdin’s Walking Tour and our guide was Joseph. The weather was dreadful - torrential rain ! Very unusual for Dubai.
In spite of this Joseph was thorough knowledgeable caring and professional. The tour was really interesting. I would thoroughly recommend both the tour and Joseph himself.

This was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. We traveled in Egypt and Jordan with this company. Everything was well organized and they responded quick to any questions. They provided us with a knowledgeable tourist guide who stayed with us during the entire trip in each country (even in the cruise). Hotels and Transportation was great and the cruise was excellent. We were able to visit Egypt without stress. I highly recommend this company.

We had an amazing time! Fawzi was wonderful as our tour guide! He was knowledgeable, friendly, fun and engaging. If we are blessed to return to Egypt some day, I plan on calling his personal cell number. He made an already amazing experience a ton better!

This was my second trip using AskAladdin and it even surpassed the first experience which was rated a 5. What made this trip stand out, even more, was the additional services provided because of Covid. I faced multiple problems from other companies like the airlines canceling my flight three different times but AskAladdin worked with me to rebook and modify the itinerary to not only salvage the trip but to actually improve it. The guides were tops in their field. The properties were outstanding and provided even better service than I expected during Covid. I have and will continue to recommend AskAladdin to all of my friends.

My wife and I booked a 13-day trip with them in May 2021 based off of their Red Sea Adventure Package, adding a few extra days in Hurghada at our request. We began our trip in Aswan (doing a day trip to Abu Simbel), then took a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, seeing Kom Ombo and Edfu along the way. After Luxor we relaxed for several days in Hurghada before ending our trip with two days in Cairo. At each stage of the trip AskAladdin took care of everything so we could focus on enjoying the incredible experience.

We had two different tour guides for the first and second half of our trip: Mr. Salah Sholok and Mr. Mohamed Fawzy. Both were extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. We highly recommend having either, or both, be your tour guide.

Generally, AskAladdin provided excellent customer service and made the planning and booking process easy. We were all the more impressed because we didn't have much time to plan this trip, and the company was able to put everything together in less than two weeks! Other tour companies would not even respond to our requests for information, probably because of the short time period, but AskAladdin responded promptly, took us on and planned an amazing experience in record time. We would definitely use them again!

The staff were very kind and helpful and organized quality tours for our group of three English speakers to Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel. Our train tickets were all booked ahead of time and delivered to us by Ask Aladdin representatives.
A special thanks to our tour guide Rama Ahmed for providing us with an entertaining and informative day out on Luxor's West Bank.

It was a great product to use honest thoughts

I booked a 17 day trip with AskAladdin for 6 of us in Dec 2019. I set up a 4 city tour (Alexandria, Aswan, Luxor, Cairo) with a Lake Nasser cruise and Aswan to Luxor river cruise. I must say that from my initial inquiry to the completion of the tour went flawlessly. The hotels were 5 star, food was excellent, transportation (van/air/cruise) was great. Said would always be cleaning the van while we were exploring the sites and always checked to ensure we had water before and after.

We were lucky to get Fawzy as our guide for the entire trip and Said as our driver for Cairo and Alexandria. They were always prompt and ensured that we were well taken care of. As the previous reviewer of June 2019 mentioned Fawzy always gave us our space but kept a close eye on everyone. He was always engaging my grandsons and teaching them at all the sites which included how to read the hieroglyphics. They were actually pretty good describing the scenes by the end of the tour. Fawzy would also check with me at regular intervals to see if everyone was enjoying the tour.

One thing to mention that at all times Fawzy was with us for the air and cruise portions of the trip. There was 1 exception for the flight back were he had to take the overnight train back from Luxor because our flight was full. This worked out for us as he hand carried same vases that we purchased and other items for us.

In conclusion I would recommend Ask Aladdin for their tours and definitely ask for Fawzy as your guide. Fawzy is very personable and I still continue to talk to him since our trip. I plan to visit him again when I set up a trip to Jordan to go to Petra.

I forgot to mention during our trip we had 3 incidents occur. My grandson left his phone in Aswan on a boat that we used on a last minute tour came up that we wanted to see and discovered it after 20 minutes when we got back. At Abu Simbel the other grandson lost his sweater and at Luxor in the Valley of Kings. Fawzy managed to get back both items! He also ran interference for us with all the street vendors at the sites and even bargained with them to ensure we got a good price.

Overall the trip was great! Ask Aladdin customized our trip to meet our interests and time. The food was fantastic! The hotels were great! We enjoyed all the various forms of transportation (van, train, boat, airplane). All the drivers and Aladdin representatives were friendly and helpful.

EGYPT: Fawzy, our guide, was fantastic! He was very attentive and protective. He gave us space to explore the sites, but was always watching to make sure things were going smoothly. We felt safe having Fawzy with us! He had a genuine interest in making sure we had a great trip.

Areas of improvement: Aladdin should offer bottled water to their guests! We spent unnecessary time trying to find bottled water. Our impression was that bottled water would be provided. Secondly, we didn’t understand why Aladdin booked us on separate itineraries from our guide for the train and air flights. We would have been willing to spend a little more money in order for him to travel on the same sleeper train and flight. Thirdly, we would have appreciated more guidance on tipping. It was difficult to tip in Egyptian pounds as the ATM’s dispense large denominations and we didn’t have a good opportunity to get smaller bills. We did take an amount of small US dollars that we hope covered an adequate tip. We would suggest a print out of suggested tips for various scenarios to be given upon request. It seemed to be an unnecessary frustration for us.

JORDAN: We enjoyed our time in Jordan. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating.
Area for improvement: The itinerary we received was different than the one the guide had. We were expecting to go to the Dead Sea and float, however, that was missing on our guide’s itinerary. The guide and driver agreed to follow the itinerary that Aladdin had sent us. Make sure you have a print out or copy of your itinerary to avoid any discrepancies!

In April/May 2019 we spent another 17 days touring Egypt, again marvelling at the wonderful sights and treasures and meeting many friendly Egyptians on our 3rd holiday organised by Ask Aladdin.

From our first contact with Sara who put together our personalised itinerary (based on their 12 day Egyptian Odyssey tour modified and extended to 17 days), everything went smoothly. With our very knowledgeable , friendly and funny guide Ossama, our excellent driver Saed and the other careful drivers, everything went smoothly and we always felt safe, secure and well looked after.

The accommodation, river cruise and the delicious Egyptian food all enhanced our enjoyment of the time we spent in Egypt.

Moving to the Middle East was always a dream to visit Egypt. But after living in the Middle East, so many scams made it difficult to commit to going!

Thankfully we found Zara with AskAladdin.com! Working with our last minute international flights, she was able to tailor domestic flights, an Egyptologist guide (the one and only Sarawat!), private transport and a nile cruise ship!

Sailing quietly down the nile and sliding into dock from one ancient temple to the next while relaxing in the afternoon sun by the rooftop pool was truly a dream come true!
