Excellent quad-bike experience with guide Mate
In September 2023, we had the pleasure of doing Asteria's ATV Quad Safari Tour in Bajagić and its surrounding areas. It was a massively enjoyable experience that we will never forget. A huge part of that amazing experience was our guide, Mate (pronounced "mat-ay").
From the start, Mate's friendly personality put everyone at ease. He took the time to ensure everyone felt comfortable and confident on the ATVs, providing clear instructions and helpful tips.
Mate's knowledge of the local area truly shone through. He pointed out interesting sights and shared fascinating facts along the way, making the quad-bike tour an enjoyable educational experience.
Our taxi driver was also friendly and knowledgeable. The paid addon pick-up and drop-off from Split was convenient. If you want this service, contact Asteria in advance to request it and have 10 EUR cash per person to pay for it.
Our lunch was at a local restaurant. Our tour's price included a fixed menu for drinks and meat/vegetarian meal options. We could also order and pay for other items from the menu.
The quad bikes had a spacious storage area at the back with plenty of room for 2 people's bags and other small items. I recommend bringing a blanket or throw to cover your belongings because dust can still enter the storage area as you drive.
We highly recommend Asteria's quad bike tour to anyone looking for a thrilling and informative way to explore the beautiful Split region. And if you're lucky enough to get Mate as your guide, you're in for a real treat!
