It’s very a good tool i’m happy to buy thanks
Drastically cuts time compared to previous small hand held tree trimmer. Residential use. Have batteries for Whipper snipper and blower.
I used it to trim two very large trees. Cuts very well but it is awkward to handle. There should have been a handle to hold it.
Works well but surprisingly top heavy. Your arms will get quite a workout using this tool.
Good product
I purchased the DeWalt hedge trimmer because the advertising claims that it is a 12' hedge trimmer. I purchased it to replace a Earthwise 10' hedge trimmer. Imagine my disappointment when I measured the two hedge trimmers side by side in the fully extended position...they both measure 7' 9" !!
nice tool, fits well with my dewalt platform
Was a little disappointed once I realized that to get 12', you need to be holding it 6 feet in the air. however I did also buy the pole saw and it comes with an extension that does make this longer. The excuse was that they "Dewalt" was worried about stability with it being that long. OK, but personally I would think stability would be more important with a chainsaw at the end vs this trimmer!?! The head does have a wobble, but overall good value and works well enough with 20V, as I'm not a professional.
Excellent pruner. Was able to get around the whole yard pretty quickly, even using it one shrubs that would normally be done with hand pruners. One complaint is in the adjustment for the blade angle. There is some play in between settings so at times when switching position the blade will lurch, but you can control it if your ready
Solid unit. Only complaint is the articulating point seems quite flimsy
Like that it uses dewalt batteries that are interchangeable. Cuts through most hedge branches easily.
Pole could have been made extendable... Also, it’s a bit flimsy at the connection point, where you change the angle of blade. Other than that works great!
