Live Review from Umed

Live Review from Umed, a Trader with 12+ Years of Experience

My name is Umed, and I am a trader with over 12 years of experience in the financial markets. I came to Audacity Capital with the expectation of managing up to $2 million through their scaling program. Their claim of operating since 2012 initially inspired a degree of confidence; however, my experience has proven this to be misleading.

My Personal Experience:

I have undertaken three separate funding challenges with Audacity Capital, each with an initial capital of $60,000, using real funded accounts through different investors. My account numbers are as follows: 104979, 74087140, and the third one I need to confirm, but I will update that later. One account (104979) was solely in my name. In the second instance (74087140), I successfully passed the initial challenge phase, achieving a 10% return without a single rule violation. Despite this, the risk management team purportedly identified a breach (which I can attest did not occur) and subsequently deactivated the account.

My experience with the first challenge (104979) was even more concerning. Instead of being given an opportunity to succeed, the rules were inexplicably altered specifically for my account. The spreads were significantly widened, despite their advertised zero-spread policy and zero commission structure. Ultimately, I was terminated for what they claimed was a breach of the daily loss limit. I have all the supporting documentation, including video evidence. Unfortunately, I am unable to share these files directly here.

Community Information and Verification:

I maintain a community where I share my experiences with various prop firms, both the reputable ones and the dishonest ones. If you suspect this is a paid review, I encourage you to visit and verify my claims yourself. Everything has been published on my channel, which has over 4,000 subscribers, and my group, which has around 500 members:
yukicorp.

Conclusion and Recommendation:

Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise all traders, both experienced and novice, to avoid Audacity Capital. My experience suggests that they operate a fraudulent scheme, manipulating the rules to avoid payouts to those who demonstrate profitability.

Appeal Statement Regarding Account Decision No. 104979

I hereby notify you of my intention to appeal the decision made regarding my account No. 104979. Today, 30.01.2025., you recorded a violation of the established daily risk limit.

At the beginning of the trading day, my initial balance was $60,348.93. According to the rules, the 5% daily risk limit for my account corresponded to $57,331.49, which equates to an allowable drawdown of $3,017.45. However, your records indicate a different figure—$58,226.53.

I consider this discrepancy incorrect and request a review of the decision.

Here is my reasoning:
Starting from the trade with identifier (ID) 123938414, my balance remained unchanged since no profitable trades were recorded. Therefore, my daily risk limit, set at $57,331.49, could not have increased to $58,226.53.

During the trading session, four trades were opened on the TECH100m instrument, none of which were closed with a profit. Consequently, the daily risk drawdown could not have changed to reach the amount specified by you.

Based on the above, I request a thorough investigation into this matter and a detailed response explaining the discrepancy.

Hello Umed,
Hope you’re doing well.

We truly value your feedback and understand your frustration. We recognize that handling and accepting losses is one of the biggest challenges in our industry.

Regarding your account: 74087140, we have found that you violated the daily drawdown limit on 6th November.

Please note that the daily drawdown threshold is calculated from balance or equity whichever is higher during the day's rollover. However, within the day if your equity goes above the previous day's balance or equity whichever was higher then the daily drawdown threshold also gets calculated from the new equity high. Please refer to the below article carefully on how the daily drawdown calculation works. https://audacitycapital.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/20307058508178-What-is-the-daily-drawdown-limit-for-the-Ability-Challenge-and-how-is-it-calculated

In your case, your equity made a high of $61,087.26 at 7:21 server time and your daily drawdown threshold was set at $58,032.9, however your equity reached till $57,518.76 violating the daily drawdown threshold.

The proofs of the breach were already shared with you at the time when we found the breach. We have attached it below as well.

https://ibb.co/tpSb95Z0

Regarding your other account: 104979. It also violated the daily drawdown, we also shared additional proofs along with what was already displayed on the dashboard. For this account, you started your day with balance $60,348.93, however, within the day your equity made a new high and went till $61291.93 at 16:51:52 server time and your daily drawdown threshold was set at $58227.35 from the highest equity, and your equity went below the threshold level, violating the daily drawdown threshold. We have attached the proofs below:

https://ibb.co/0WPs5Dq

https://ibb.co/JRT63WJ3

We will highly advise you to read all the articles carefully especially the drawdown rules for better understanding.

While we value all feedback, we must express our disappointment in being unfairly accused. Since our inception in 2012, we have consistently operated with a commitment to transparency and fairness, ensuring that profits are distributed to traders worldwide on a daily basis.

We wish you the best in your trading journey.

It took them 8 months to tell me about the breach

Account # 1109634426
Today I can no longer access my account. When I contacted support, I was told that "Our risk management team has detected trades on unauthorized assets, specifically, US2000. As a result, your account has been permanently disabled due to this breach." They provided me screenshot of the logs that show I opened their unauthorized asset, US2000, on 20 May 2024 which is over 8 months ago. It took them 8 months to tell me about the breach. They allowed me to trade breached account for 8 months. If they don't allow to trade US2000, why do they not remove that asset from their metatrader in the first place? That is something you need to consider before you purchase account from them.

Hello,
Hope you’re doing well.

We truly value your feedback and understand your frustration. We recognize that handling and accepting losses is one of the biggest challenges in our industry.

Regarding your account, we regret to inform you that the instrument US2000 is a prohibited asset as it was clearly explained on our website and T&cs. Since trades were placed on this instrument, we had to disable the account. We understand that your account was on our previous dashboard, and we acknowledge that it didn’t provide the best user experience. As a result, the system did not automatically flag the violation at the time.

During our transition to MT5, we conducted a thorough review of accounts from our old MT4 dashboard and identified this violation. Given that the restriction on US2000 remains in place, we must uphold the breach.

We truly appreciate your understanding in this matter and regret any inconvenience caused. Wishing you all the best in your trading journey.

Crazy gold spread on purpose ?

I am truly disappointed Audacity, I never thought you could allow such manipulation for so long, gold spread is at 10pips however in the charts it shows much less, i am sure people have losing much more money because of this (as I did) and its been weeks without a fix
Note : this issue doesn't exist when you trade gold in free trials which makes it even more suspicious.

Misinformation!!! Scam!!

Misinformation!!!!

Audacity Capital is a scammer. Let me explain!

There drawdown limits are actually trailing drawdown limits, they move with your equity. Meaning if your drawdown limit is $500 and your trade goes up $500 and comes back closes at breakeven, you would have violated and will lose the account.

Nowhere on the website it states that, they have it buried under the fine prints to scam you. I wont recommend Audacity Capital at all.

They need to update their pricing table and challenge info to say trailing drawdown instead of drawdown!!
I lost the account my FTP account had no idea, they switch it up three months before without advertising it.

Hello Kashish,
Hope you're doing well.

We truly value your feedback and understand your frustration. We recognize that handling and accepting losses is one of the biggest challenges in our industry.

We would like to clarify that information regarding the daily drawdown calculation is readily available on our website. The claim that it is "nowhere mentioned" is incorrect. To ensure transparency, we have a dedicated FAQ article that provides a detailed explanation of how the daily drawdown is calculated, along with clear examples for better understanding. You can review the article here:
https://audacitycapital.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360017157739-What-happens-if-I-hit-the-drawdown

In addition, the pricing table on our main website explicitly states that the daily drawdown is trailing. This information has always been clearly presented to help traders make informed decisions. You can refer to the pricing table image here:
https://ibb.co/5hm0MgLC

It is important to note that this rule has been in place since the inception of Audacity Capital and is not a newly introduced policy. As part of our commitment to providing clarity, we encourage all customers to thoroughly review our FAQ section before purchasing an account. If any questions or uncertainties arise, our support team is always available to assist and provide further clarification.

We appreciate your feedback, but we must express our disappointment at being unfairly accused of wrongdoing. Since 2012, we've been operating following the principles of transparency and fairness, distributing profits to traders worldwide on a daily basis.

Hello Hemaya,
Hope you’re doing well.

We truly value your feedback and understand your frustration. We recognize that handling and accepting losses is one of the biggest challenges in our industry.

As explained in our email conversation, after a thorough review of your account, we have found that you violated the daily drawdown limit on 20th January.

Please note that the daily drawdown threshold is calculated from balance or equity whichever is higher during the day's rollover. However, within the day if your balance or equity goes above the previous day's balance or equity whichever was higher then the daily drawdown threshold also gets calculated from the new equity high. In your case, your equity made a high of $64,929 at 03:06:12 server time and your daily drawdown threshold was set at $61,682.55, however your Equity reached till $61,667.4 at 08:52:36 server time below the threshold level, violating the daily drawdown threshold.

Additionally, once the account has been traded upon we can not issue a refund. Should you have anymore questions then please reach out to us at support@audacitycapital.co.uk

Update to your edit:
We’re truly sorry to hear that you feel this way and want to assure you that transparency is very important to us. To help clarify the situation, we’ve attached proof from Myfxbook for your reference.

Your day began with a balance of $63,730. As you mentioned, even if $2,000 was your SL and that is deducted, the balance would be $61,730. This makes it difficult to understand your statement that your equity never went lower than $62,600.

To provide more clarity on what happened, only one of your trades was exited by a Stop Loss. The second trade was automatically closed by the system because your equity fell below the daily drawdown threshold.

Proof:
Balance at day's start -
https://ibb.co/8YJZqCc

Trade closed by system -

AudaCity Capital apologized for blocking my account due to an error on their part, but publicly stated that my account was reactivated.
But this is not true, AudaCity Capital deceived me and did not reactivate my account, all they could offer was a 20% discount on the next purchase.
I will not buy an account with this company again, as I was deceived and this discount is not interesting to me. Please return my money to PayPal.

Hello. I have a bad experience with this company, yesterday they blocked the second account, citing the fact that I violated the daily drawdown limit. And another colleague in the shop also complains about the same problem, apparently yesterday AudaCity Capital had a global failure and they do not want to admit it ....

Hello Muhammed,
Hope you’re doing well.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your account and the trades in question. After reviewing the details, we’d like to share our observations. The trades were not exited manually by us but were automatically closed when the stop-loss orders were triggered. During high-impact news events, such as CPI releases, it’s important to note that once a stop-loss or take-profit order is triggered, there’s no guarantee that positions will close exactly at the set price. In cases of high market volatility, like during this event, your positions are exited at the next best available price, depending on market conditions and liquidity.

Regarding the delay you mentioned, since the stop-loss orders had already been triggered, it was not possible to close them manually thereafter. We recommend exercising extra caution during major news events, as such occurrences are more likely during these times. Unfortunately, in such cases we can not do much from our side as the trades were exited as per the market condition.

As we check your account is still active, we wish you a very gooluck for the remainder of your challenge with us. Should you have any more questions do let us know at support@audacitycapital.co.uk.

We truly value your feedback and understand your frustration. We recognize that handling and accepting losses is one of the biggest challenges in our industry.

After a thorough review of your account, we have determined that you violated your daily drawdown limit on 19th December.

To provide more details about the daily drawdown violation, please note on 19th December at day's start your balance was $10,218.09 so the daily drawdown level for the day was set as $10,218.09 - $766.35(7.5% of 10,218.09) = $9,451.73 and at 16:37:23 server time your account equity fell below this and went till $9,430.84 violating the daily drawdown level.

Hello Hermanto,
Hope you're doing well.

We truly value your feedback and understand your frustration.

We reviewed your account thoroughly and have the following observations: While you passed our challenge, your trading performance lacked consistency. Additionally, your consistency score was slightly above 50. Based on this, we requested you to continue trading for a few more days and achieve a consistency score of at least 60 before advancing to the verification stage.

Please refer to our article on the consistency score, which explains that scores between 50-70 are subject to review by the risk team. In such cases, the team may decide to pass the account or request to trade for additional days. Since your profits were concentrated in one idea, we required a score of 60 to proceed. Unfortunately, after that your account breached the daily drawdown limit.

The consistency rule has been in effect for quite some time and is not a new rule. While we value all feedback, we must express our disappointment in being unfairly accused. Since our inception in 2012, we have consistently operated with a commitment to transparency and fairness, ensuring that profits are distributed to traders worldwide on a daily basis.

We wish you all the best in your trading career.
Kind regards,
Audacity Capital
