My computer skill/understanding level is pretty low (hey - I turned 72 Monday) I chose to use Auslogics to do the necessaries and they have been damned good. I have had no ssues what so ever! Happy... See more

Auslogics just charged me over 60 dollars for an outdated product. The license number I entered was supposedly outdated as of Mar 1 2025. So WHY did they sell it to me? THis is a scam outfit that is out to rip you off.

EDIT: 25/12/2025 - Merry Christmas
1. Auslogics Boostspeed:
As a optimization freak, I've tested ALL the paid software and this one is the very best, like 9.5/10.
Many fails against free open source programs like Tweakpower, Bleachbit etc.
But I still use it even tho I'm on FSOS.
HOWEVER:
The Interface can sometimes be overwhelming, confusing or bloated. The software can sometimes be slow compared to some others.
Some stuff are not completely optimal, and it's not really a complete "all in one", there are upsell.
You must be very careful when doing very deep cleaning and optimizations in Expert mode, you have to do some research before.
Some optimizations are messy like the UDP one, it doesn't take the wifi into account and set it to a high value while 64kb send/receive was actually the best for me.
Too much monitoring coming from several sources can leads to problems, but we can disable it, I just don't know if it stills monitor even when hidden in system tray.
Most of the tools are great, here's a quick review by category:
SYSTEM TOOLS: Amazing, but the "Microsoft Autoruns" can be more useful than the startup manager. The registry editor can sometimes delete your custom context menus.
DISK TOOLS: Excellent! It's the only software where you can actually click on any clusters and see what is inside, it actually helped me a lot when repairing a old HDD. You can even optimize SSD much like O&O defrag but better and faster.
INTERNET & BROWSER TOOLS: I wish it would optimize furthermore in a more accurate way, it is still very good.
SECURITY TOOLS: Nice. Win Protector is confusing because it's a mix of privacy, appearances and some tweaks.
INFO TOOLS: Great. Disk Explorer is not as fast as WizTree but maybe it's more thorough and accurate.
2. Auslogics Driver updater:
Mediocre compared to SDIO, Driverscloud, Driver Booster or Driver Easy (which is the very best).
It tried to install incompatible drivers, it detect stuff that are not here, the design is oldish, there is some kind of "real time driver optimizer" that looks like a placebo because we don't know what it really do and we are missing some features compared to others and there's upsell.
Auslogics Disk Defrag Ultimate:
Already included in auslogics boostspeed but with a bit more features.
Literally the BEST defrag program I've ever used, I've tried open source and paid ones, I was using o&o defrag for a long time and I enjoyed their SSD defrag technology, which auslogics also have, I will not use anything else, the zone defrag is amazing too.
OVERALL:
Still above many others but not perfect. They struggle with interface and their marketing. I've been using lots of different software like theirs and a very few of them can achieve my expectations.
They should improve the interface structure, make everything simpler.
9.5/10 - almost perfect.

The free version of the software reports 55 drivers are out of date, yet when i update them using their programme it just updates to the same version I previously had. None of my other driver update programmes report any out of date drivers ie Windows, Glary Utilites, ccleaner

I think it's the design attitude I appreciate, as much as the consistent availability of the basic toolkit that comes with the download.
I have honestly relied on BoostSpeed in various iterations for years to clean up all the machines I disrupted with unmitigated incompetence. Yay!
Auslogics Defrag is my No.1 Essential.
Hoping to register it as an emotional support animal one day so I can annoy people at Airports.
Again design wise, the line between free tools and pro features is entirely sensible.
Having the Standalone Products to back you up in specific situations is also handy to have and easy to find. I have purchased products in the past and have never had a problem.
Having updated algorithms for SSD Optimisation helps a lot, and so does the animation...to stare at, as the fight against Entropy make me feel Godlike briefly at 30.000 feet...
Also, thanks for not too many abrupt DING sounds, popups and/or Jumpscare splash screens.
Cheers guys.

I had a previous register cleaner, but they went out of business. I like this product and use it whenever my PC slows down. Thank you for the product.

It is the best and fastest defrag program I have used in my 30+ years using a PC. I love it

Disk Defrag is great! It performs as promised. It is easy to use.

I find it works great. I typically use my computer for eighteen hours a day, and whenever my PC starts to slow down, I turn to Auslogics. I sometimes use it twice a day, and it does an excellent job of improving performance.

Auslogics Driver Update is comprehensive and straight forward to use.
It works as designed.

Fast and Easy to use. A very large data base, finds more driver updates than other similar driver updaters.

I paid for Auslogics BoostSpeed 13 and in less than 8 months I am being asked to "Upgrade" to the "Pro" version of Auslogics BoostSpeed 14. A great deal of what was already functioning (i.e. paid for) in v13 had been REMOVED so it can be reinstalled by paying for it again! Had I know when I installed their "upgrade" to an existing version 13 I was removing functional tools only to be asked to purchase them back!

I have been locked out of my google account in Chrome. BootSpeed made my account an
Administrator Account and thus made me
unable to change even the ability to change
cookie settings, which is the excuse gives me
for locking me out. Other browsers were not
affected, even deleting and reinstalling Chrome failed to shake off the effects.

Once your software really does what you advertise it does, I'll have better things to say. Until that happens, your inquiries only prove you want to sell more of the same... failures.
Thanks, But No thanks

Boostspeed is very easy to use . It works really well. Manually deleting and optimizing things need a lot of times. This software really helped that out.

I must say before buying BoostSpeed and Driver Updater, I have never heard of Auslogics before. I checked their website and as a company with over 15 years experience in computer maintenance, I knew they couldn't be scam as all the other optimization software available out there. I'm happy how much Auslogics helped me keep my computers running smoothly, despite being pretty new released in 2022. I have tried many optimization tools which all of them proved to be scam and full of bloatware, BoostSpeed now is my most favorite app and will always be the first app I install on any new PC I buy in future. Love you so much, hugs to the whole team, you are just amazing people and keep doing what you do best.

Many software have corresponding functions, such as Iobit AdvancedSystemCare, Wise Care 365, CCleaner, etc., all support Traditional Chinese

The software is really easy to use! I'm able to understand everything that the software is capable of. I currently have the free version of the BoostSpeed, but am seriously considering upgrading to the paid version.
