Poor

I visited the store in Brookhaven,MS. The lady at the counter was moving so slow. It was bad enough the line was long and even worse She made me wait another 20 minutes on a part because she said she was pregnant and couldn’t pick it up. Hope the young lady doesn't do it to all of her customers. Pregnant or not a job has to be done. Wasted my entire lunch break!

On the AutoZone website it says we're here to help that's not true

On the AutoZone website it says we're here to help well I'm a witness to the man Justin purchase a battery at AutoZone both the gentleman who sold it to him remember him cuz he's kind of hard to forget with only one arm buying a battery from them they recognize the battery that he's trying to use the warranty on and by the time we left the store all of a sudden they've got amnesia they can't help the guy get the warranty on his battery He's got one arm his car broke down from the battery he goes in the store someone breaks in his car and stoles his wallet so no he doesn't have a receipt The one arm guy has the battery the guy's remember selling him the battery but obviously they didn't do their diligence and list the battery under the right information and all he wants to do is get his warranty and I've never seen such ignorant behavior from those two people one being the part sales manager on graveyard and the other gentleman said it is what it is I can't help you even though he remembers selling him the battery this is the most ignorant thing I've ever seen in my life if it was more than one star it'd be too much.

Company does not honor warranty

The company did not stand behind the warranty for a Duralast battery. I believe this is actually the brand specifically manufactured for AutoZone. The story:
I live in the Phoenix AZ area of USA but spend a lot of time in Mexico. While in Mexico my battery was dying. I went to AutoZone in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico to buy a battery. Before (paying more) buying the battery I specifically asked both the employee and the manager if the warranty (pro-rated exchange) carried over to AutoZone in the US. I was told by both people, multiple times that AutoZone would honor the pro-rated warranty if needed. So I paid more, only to have the warranty. In the AZ heat the battery died in 28 months. AutoZone refused to honor their company warranty. I emailed the company. The initial reply stated: we are not able to honor the warranty. I replied and the next email stated: we escalated this situation to Mesa regional office. I replied that this is not a particular city problem but an AutoZone attempting to save a few dollars by being crooks. In the (AutoZone) AZO Corporate Governance, part D, 1st section: Integrity and Accountability....... apparently not.
The Mexico store has the exact same signage, colors, store layout and except for the language one would not be able to determine they were not in the USA. So instead of doing the correct, honorable thing (which probably would have cost less than $50 or $100), AutoZone has gone the way of the scumbags.
We have a 2014 Jeep and a 2004 Pilot. I have purchased many parts , fluids and items from AutoZone for these vehicles. That will never happen again. For (probably) a few dollars this dishonorable company loses the business of 2 older vehicle repairs and maintenance. Simply amazing the short sightedness of the company. I will also tell everyone I talk to (when talking vehicles) about the fact that AutoZone does not stand behind its own policies nor its stated Corporate Governance.
Good job AutoZone, keep up the customer deletions!!!!

Bad behavioral experience

Few days back, I went to AutoZone Kendall Park office in NJ. I asked the person in the shop to check my Honda CRV battery. He checked and told me that battery needs to be replaced and he replaced it. During installation he was talking very rude to me. Anyways, after installation I started coming back home and while driving I realized that my car's infotainment screen was not working, radio was also not working. So, I returned back to the shop and asked the same person what could be the reason. He again started talking to me very rude and said that it will work automatically.

Btw, infotainment system on my car was not working for 2 days and I struggled a lot. And I made my mind that I will not go to the shop again as I didn't want to face the same person. Later on after reading few articles I figured out myself and later on I had to do it myself.

While he installed the battery successfully but my in person experience was very bad because of his rude behavior.

Need a Starter for my car

I need a starter for my car so I went to AutoZone #5239. The dealer was trying to take all my money and liver to fix my car. So I did what my father said went to Auto Zone. There I meet Ms. Lisa who help me get the right part for my car.
It was a great experience having a woman assist me in a automobile store. She was nice and friendly. I would tell my family and friends to shop at that location no doubt. The customer service was A1!

1715 Oak Sprawl New Braunfels, TX AutoZone is FANTASTIC!

Brian, the asst. manager, JD and Ryan all helped me. They were fantastic! I went in needing a headlight bulb for my 2019 Durango. It had gone out on my way to work this morning. I had watched a you tube video open how to replace the bulb and knew the bulb number. What I didn't know was that there were 4 different Halogen bulbs and at least 1 LED bulb all with that number. Brian came out and tried to remove the existing bulb for me so we could match what was already in there. He was needed in the store so he enlisted JD to help. JD gave a noble effort but could not get the bulb loose and did not want to break anything. Brian then got Ryan to come out. After fiddling with it for a couple minutes Ryan was able to get the bulb out. It turned out to be some special HD bulb in a metal casing. I went in, bought the bulb and Ryan had the new bulb installed before the register even finished approving my debit payment.

These guys went above and beyond to help me. My husband is recently (last few years) blind and is a disabled vet. I have no-one to help me. I tried the local dealship with a different bulb issue a few months back and all they wanted to do was rip me off. I was told I would need to leave the car overnight as they would have to take off the bumper since there was no direct access. That sounded weird to me considering a bulb is a consumable part. I googled it, found a You Tube video, bought a bulb at the same Oak Sprawl AuitoZone location and had it changed in 5 minutes. The dealer lied to me to profit off me. The guys at the Oak Sprawl AutoZone location sincerely did everything to help me. I am a customer for life! I have told everyone I meet about my bad dealership experience, even the clerk at the post office. You can bet I will be telling EVERYONE about my fantastic experience at the Oak Sprawl AutoZone! Thank you Brian, JD and Ryan for all of your help today!

That young lady with the ring in her nose, is setting a bad example for all the years AutoZone has been around, and have served millions of people, you don't send anybody to Walmart for cheaper stuff, rich people don't come to AutoZone my friend, if you were listening, you would have heard, you might don't have standards, but AutoZone do, be respectful at all times. 1570 W Boynton beach Blvd. you really don't know who people are, so it would be wise to be respectful.

Price Gouging

Went to store in Jamestown, NY to buy freon and hose and gauge to install. Price listed at shelf was $44.99 but at checkout it was $54.99 for freon. The price for the gauge and hose was $17.99 but at checkout it was $22.99. When I enquired about this they said the company was always raising prices. I then went to a competitor where I found the same brand and quantity of freon for sale for $36.00. This company is price gouging and defrauding the public. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Is the best customer service provider experience any customer can get. She not only remembered me; she remembered my previous order and issue. Not only that, she saved me over $300 dollars by informing me that part was covered under warranty. She is a God send. Thanks again Jennifer and Auto Zone for keeping me going

I I recently went into the store and I…

I I recently went into the store that's on Balboa and devonshire and the one on Roscoe and sepulveda I was approached violently by one of the employees that thought I was stealing something, and I was taking some oil however this gentleman approached me violently outside of the store almost knocked me off of my bike and soon after there was a black truck with the licence plates of " luxie" following me for sure it had to be eirther the owner or one of their security members. They followed me 3 miles, from the store to the corner of my house. I've been targeted by the the same lost prevention/ security company, the same company that has some affiliation with the Macy's security. They have a psychotropic weapons that are able to cause harm even death
They've been targeting me for almost 29 years and at first I thought I was going crazy because I was hearing voices and I'm very sane. That is absolutely no mistaking what I hear till this very day and I've been a victim of a crime and AutoZone is definitely involved in it. My life been threatened by these individuals for a long time, they themselves " La Familia Organization" and 2 of the perpetrators LAPD officers. Now I've done my research on what these individuals do and the type of people that they are. They are ex-military personnel. And are in a government organization which is a secret one in our local community. So if you're gunna shop at these stores please be aware the the security and personnel are criminals with a license and if they do what for any reason don't like the way you look dress or if you're and your flatulence have a scent thats offensive their nostrils beware because you will get targeted for any stupid reason. It's why I recommend you choose other auto parts instead. It's an organized cartel in our country and they're doing it to people in their own community. So if one of these days something happens to me this is a legal documentation of a few of the crime that they've pute thru which in all reality isn't much in comparison to what they really do.Is why I rate them a 1 star

Autozone lied to me

I called AutoZone to cancel the delivery on an online order. They lied to me twice and said the refund would be there in 3 to 5 business days. This was not true as they had never stopped the shipment. They continued to ship the product to my house, which was going to be late. I had to call again and talk to a supervisor in order to get a refund. I am going to order from AutoZone again this was horrible and I couldn’t change my oil when I wanted to because of their mess ups.

Excellent customer service.

Darius, the manager at Cheviot went the extra mile in helping me with a warranty issue for the Disk brake pads for my Honda Accord. He determined that they were looking for the warranty using the wrong part number. This was due to the fact that I gave them the wrong model , EX versus LX. Once they determined the correct part number the warranty was found.

Freddie Davis, Store Manager, at the Spring Hill, TN location was great to work with. He transferred my order from another store and I was able to pick up my part at his store. Freddie was friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate Freddie and his focus on customer service. AutoZone needs more employees like Freddie Davis. Thank you!

Hostage

Due to a glitch in thier system, a hold was placed on my bank account for 3 days when I ended up NOT making a purchase at the store. When I contacted customer service, I was told they could do nothing to fix it, best they had was to offer me a percentage discount on my next purchase. I am never, NEVER going to shop at Autozone again.

Customer service??

Customer service??? Went to the Naugatuck store and stood there ( not only me but tow others) for 10 minutes waiting to be waited on as it took three employees to take care of one customer. Not one of them acknowledged us to even say, be right with you. Not only that, I took the store manager- who happened to be passing by - had to stop in and help her “family.” Been going here for years, and this has been the worse I have seen. Need to schedule someone with store experience if all these employees are in training.
