So terrible customer service. They keep delaying everything for us. We have been following up since last 10 months and still they dont respond. Once the house is sold they keep ignoring you. Never ever buy house with Avant. We are in Darach fields Robroyston, Glasgow. Please stay away from this development.

The Team at Avant homes have been super helpful, kind & positive whilst sharing the process of buying my first house with me. Kornelija has been very understanding of my nerves and questions and has been patient all the way through and kept me excited! Julia at Lawrence point is honestly an asset to Avant. We initially viewed another site which is not ran by Julia, and the plot just wasn’t what we wanted. We then realised there was a closer development so on an off chance I popped in to just collect a price list - Julia was so welcoming and cheerful, and our first encounter with her was amazing.

Fast forward two week, we have now reserved our dream plot at Lawrence point! Everytime we spoke to Julia via phonecall or in person, she could not be any more of a help if she tried - she fought our corner, she marched us to our plot twice to make sure we had seen everything and was 100% sure, she was not pushy, she was professional but equally she spoke to you like a normal human rather than a pushy sales advisor.

This whole experience for us so far has been because of how wonderful Julia has been! Looking forward to the finish line!

Ruby was so helpful, she made me feel very at ease and explained everything. as a first time buyer it can feel daunting but she made everything make sense!

This is a review to recognise the transformational work undertaken by Paul Weatherston at the Thistle Meadows development.

When you purchase a new build you do expect snagging and you will uncover faults with your property. Its how these are dealt with is the difference between poor client service and great.

My focus on this review is purely on the work undertaken by Paul in our kitchen. Paul was assigned to identify any leaking from pipes and appliances however found none suggesting a leak prior to moving in. Avant agreed to remediate lifting LVT flooring and replacement and alignment of new kitchen units which had warped due to water ingress.

Paul is a craftsman - he is meticulous in his work and has a very careful eye for detail. He undertook a significant project in our kitchen and has completed to the highest standard. There was no rushing however work was completed timely in a very professional manner. I would say that Paul is an amazing at what he does and has transformed our kitchen. Avant are lucky to have him!!

He is also a gentleman with impeccable respect for your home. Thank you Paul, really appreciated!

Keiran was extremely enthusiastic and incredibly helpful. If he didn’t know the answer he would find out.
He responds immediately to any queries and is excellent at keeping in contact with updates.

Me and my partner went to Lawrence Park to view the Leyburn showhouse last week, when thinking about purchasing a house at Earl's Park, then went again this weekend having reserved a house :) Julia was so happy and welcoming both times. Julia even remembered us the second time and was very happy for us that we have reserved a plot! Such a lovely lady and an asset to Avant Homes.

Laura at Smithy Wood Gate, Barnsley has been super helpful regarding buying a home with Avant homes, we’ve had regular updates, communication has been great. Laura is always warm and welcoming with any of our questions/ queries.

Amy was very knowledgeable, friendly and helped us get everything we needed out of our visit

Good sales advisor very helpful, let down with nothing to sell! Strong possibly of reserving but no prices ! No releases! Poor

Very disappointing response to after sales requests. All emails, letters, phone calls and personal visits ignored.

Following this review Avant requested more info and contact details, which was provided. Never heard from them again. Pitiful service.

We've had a great experience viewing a few of the show homes and avaliable homes to get an idea what we were looking for and layout. Ruby at Seely Fields was more than helpful with us and had all the time for us. Was a really pleasant experience and great customer service

Since purchasing my Avant home I been faced with nothing but issues and the customer care team are not very keen to resolve these, emails upon emails being ignored and calls unanswered. The customer service in Scotland is little to none.

I submitted a formal complaint on the 6th August 2026 and have had no acknowledgement of this yet. Despite stating the below on your own website regarding your complaints procedure.

Stage 1 – Written acknowledgement

Your complaint will be acknowledged by the Regional Head of Customer Service within 5 days from the first business day after receiving your complaint (the Complaint Start Date).

Stage 2 – Path to resolution

Within 10 calendar days of the Complaint Initiation Date, we will provide a written 'Path to Resolution' which outlines how we will investigate your complaint.

I would never recommend Avant Homes in Scotland to anyone as the stress, anxiety and complete waste of your time is not worth it.

We have found avant very helpful with our part exchange.They are very efficient and get back to you straight away with answers to the questions you need answering.julia portington from Lawrence point has been amazing nothing is to much trouble she’s helpful,friendly went through everything with us very thoroughly. And is always on the end of the phone if you need her.shes great at communicating giving you updates as and when they happen.Julia has made our experience great and pointed us in the right direction with everything we have asked and needed.

The whole experience from Avant at the Monkswood development has been excellent from start to finish and beyond! Judith in the sales office has helped to make the sales process run very smoothly and answered questions and queries even going the extra mile finding out the colours of paints etc in the show home. The after sales experience has also been second to none. Dave, Jake and Toni have ensured that we are happy with everything up to the very last tiny details. There was a small issue with the washing machine on first use and Dave was able to come and sort out the issue with 20 minutes of me contacting them. The finish of the property is excellent and clearly shows the high level of workmanship and care that has gone into the building. It is a privilege to live in such a beautiful home. I would definitely recommend buying an Avant home

Today we reserved our first home with the wonderful assistance of Laura at Smithy Wood Gate; she has made the experience wonderful from start to reservation and I have no doubts up to completion we will continue to have a great experience. Laura is attentive, knowledgeable, clear and most of all super friendly; everything you need when starting your home buying process. We couldn’t recommend Laura enough.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! She has such a warm, friendly and reassuring energy when speaking over the phone, which made the whole process feel so easy and comfortable.

She went above and beyond to help arrange viewings for both Bennerley View and Foxgrove Village, even though she wouldn’t be the person meeting me at the sites. She took the time to organise everything and, most importantly, made sure the appointments worked around my toddler’s schedule, which I really appreciated.

Sarah also provided me with all the information I needed and was incredibly helpful throughout. You can genuinely tell that she cares about her clients and wants to make the experience as smooth as possible.

I’m so happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend Sarah and the team. Thank you so much, Sarah, for all your help!
