Ava Bracelet Reviews 

My husband and I purchased the device with the 6 month guarantee, as we were excited to try this product and to start our journey. We have one child already, and the ovulation testing to conceive the first was the most annoying thing. I was hopeful this product would produce the same reliability as ovulation tests without having to remember to pee on a stick. When I received my device, I had issues with the syncing. I would wear it all night to wake up and it would not have recorded data. I contacted support and instead of getting real assistance, I was left to troubleshooting and figuring out a solution on my own. I had to set a daily alarm to plug the device in, because you can't leave it charge too long or too short. I had to make sure the lights were the right color before unplugging it, because it would not sync properly for the night unless plugged in. The little rubber/plastic holders for the strap broke off quickly, first one in the first month, second in month two. Every night I got to put this device on after fiddling for fifteen minutes or more, and then have this dangling rubber/plastic strap sticking out since the holders fell off. Note, I wear a smart watch 24/7 and the holder for the strap is intact after four years of wear. After six months I contacted the company and was told that they would not honor the 6 month guarantee because I did not sync enough during the specified time period. I wore it every night, except for one three night vacation that would not let me go through the perfect charging ritual I had discovered my device needed. I countered about my documented exchanges with support because of syncing issues with the device, I was close to the 90% requirement but I was being penalized for the unresolved syncing issues that continue to occur with the device. All while this is going on my husband and I got fertility tests done (both checked out, docs say timing is our only barrier) and I started peeing on the stupid ovulation sticks again. Remember, this was the whole reason for trying this device, to stop the peeing on a stick. Ovulation tests revealed that I was ovulating TWO DAYS AFTER Ava was detecting my fertility window as ENDED. They want me to wear this device for another month when I have already discovered it is a waste of my time and syncing issues continue. I therefore have no guarantee that at the end of this month that the syncing issues will continue to keep me below their magic 90%. Since I know now their fertility window is incorrect for me, and if I follow the ovulation tests to get pregnant will they count me as a success?

Would recommend Ava to everybody who wants to get pregnant fast. It tells you very accurately when your fertile days are. It helped us to get pregnant three times in a row.

Helped track my ovulation. Used an period tracker for over a year. Within one month found out I was pregnant while using Ava. Ava bracelet told me I was ovulating 4 days before the other apps.

I know it says it’s not for PCOS, but I have PCOS and when I used Clomid and estrogen, this was very accurate (verified twice with ultrasound). My OB will be recommending this product in the future.. and I’m 39 and pregnant. We are very happy!

This is my 3rd pregnancy using Ava! Highly recommend! Takes all the worry and stress out of collecting the data.

I really think that Ava is a great tool if you want an easy way to predict your fertile window. My lh peak always occurred in the green window. It was intuitive and sent reminders. The bracelet is comfortable. This is a star short of 5 because my wristband broke and I did have to purchase another for around $30. It was inconvenient and I only wore it for 3 months at that time so poor quality. I did track my cycles for 6 months and it did result in pregnancy. Before Ava, I had been ttc for 1.5 years. Beyond that, I found a Ava Facebook group that gave me a sense of community, helpful when facing infertility. Overall I love this product, it was effective and easy to use.

The Ava bracelet has been a helpful tool in tracking my fertility, and easily added to my routine. However, the silicone strap broke into pieces after maybe a couple months of use, and Ava would not give me a replacement strap or even sell me one. I've had to finagle my own solution, because without a strap the device is useless.

Ava has been wonderful with helping to predict my cycles along with ovulation. After being pregnant and then breastfeeding, I didn’t not have a cycle for over a year after birth. With wearing Ava, I was pregnant my third cycle. It ended in miscarriage but after one cycle I was pregnant again.

The only reason I didn’t give Ava 5 stars is the band is awful. I have sensitive skin and it can irritate my wrist easily. Also both of the holders for the band have since broken. Ava does not offer any kind of replacement band so I am currently using a small rubber band to keep the band latched.

It’s cheaply made, the bands that hold the excess of the watch broke off within 6 months. I was also tracking with ovulation strips and adding in that information as well…but the Ava does not adjust to any of that input which is disappointing. I’d rather just relay on the test strips alone next time. Not really worth the high price tag.

Ava is great for anyone tracking their cycle, and even better for women trying to get pregnant. My first pregnancy, I tired for 1.5 years (lots of doctors visits and iui involved). On a whim, we decided to get Ava/“- 3 months with Ava and we had success. 2nd pregnancy, I had been tracking my cycle and wearing my bracelet religiously. My husband and I decided it was time to try, and on the first month actively trying, Ava got it right! This thing is a miracle.

Poor experience. Hire some behavioral scientists. Think through your user flow. It's bad.

Your support team also sucks. They say different things. One told me to turn my phone on/off, delete/reinstall. First of all, I had already done that I had said so. Second, a second support person then clarified that it wasn't a bug, that was actually how it was supposed to function. A poor experience.

I tried to take my own basal body temperature, test for ovulation, and track other physiological symptoms with my first pregnancy but it ended up adding a lot of anxiety and making the process difficult on top of already having some infertility issues. Ava has made the process much easier, with so much less stress and brainwork from me. I was still able to track everything and get pregnant again with my irregular first few cycles and continued infertility issues. Absolutely love this product!

Outside of the calendar tracking the monitor watch is useless. I would wear it every night and I would say only 40% of the time does the monitor work. I follow all steps and instructions, go to sync in the morning and get an error. So when you're trying to determine if you actually ovulated (which is the point) and it doesn't work it's extremely frustrating. Not to mention the strap on the watch ripped and broke so it's extremely difficult to now get on. Just very frustrating that it's an expensive monitor and it doesn't work most of the time when used AS DIRECTED!

I LOVE my Ava bracelet.

I had a lot of issues with birth control in the past so me and my husband decided to switch to a hormone free option. Ava was ideal in theory because it would let us track my cycles and use it as a preventative method to avoid getting pregnant until we were ready.

Well I'm here to tell you it doesn't just work on theory. I used Ava for my first 2 years of marriage as a preventative method while we enjoyed some couple time, but during those 2 years it allowed Ava to track my cycle very accurate. Fast forward to year 3 and we are now ready to become parents and I we are officially expecting our first kid!! The fertile window was extremely accurate and now that I'm pregnant I'm discovering a super cute interface that tells you about your baby what's happening in your body and guides you through this time.

I honestly never thought I was going to be this happy about a purchase but Ava is absolutely worth it!!!

I have now successfully gotten pregnant twice with the Ava bracelet. Highly recommend!

Create a replacement band option

I have endometriosis and always had the thought that I would have a hard time getting pregnant. That is why I decided to buy the Ava bracelet. After 4 months, I am pregnant! I know I would not be pregnant if it wasn’t for Ava. This was definitely a great investment.

I liked the decide, received great support and learned a lot. Didn’t work out for me but would still highly recommend.
