I ordered 8,000 sequentially numbered…

I ordered 8,000 sequentially numbered labels from Avery, with the clear requirement that they follow the numbering sequence provided in my spreadsheet (1, 2, 3, 4, and so on).
The print quality and finish of the labels were excellent; however, the labels were delivered completely out of sequence. For a project requiring sequential numbering, this rendered the product extremely difficult to use and created significant operational disruption.
I contacted customer service immediately and provided photographs as requested. The proposed solution was for me to return the entire order for evaluation, with the possibility of a reprint taking approximately one week. Unfortunately, this was not a viable option, as the labels were urgently needed for a store opening.

As a result, we had no choice but to absorb the issue internally. We were forced to hire a temporary staff member for an entire day to manually sort thousands of labels back into the correct sequence—essentially piecing together a very expensive puzzle.
While the product quality itself was good, the order was not delivered according to specification, and the resolution offered did not reflect the urgency of the situation or the impact on our business. Had I been able to source a same-day alternative, I would have returned the entire order and requested a full refund.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend Avery for projects that require sequential numbering or time-critical execution. The lack of quality control and the impractical customer service resolution fell well below the professional standard I expected

All the sheets were labelled with the order number and the corresponding sheet number to ensure they could be arranged in the correct order. We apologise for the delivery issues and have offered a solution: we did offer to have the sheets returned to us so that we could have reworked the goods for you.

Very poor service

Very poor service. delayed and delayed. so called big company did not give straight forward answers to simple emailed questions in a deliberate attempt to delay the fact that they had not sent the product.

Fantastic - start to finish

It was easy to select the labels and the quantity I needed. As I didn't need many it was great to be able to choose 1 sheet. Delivery was swift and inside the parcel it gave me a code to be able to download the software I needed to populate and print the labels to perfection.

The order took 2 weeks from placement…

The order took 2 weeks from placement to delivery. The delay was primarily due to an issue with the £5 design review service, where my requirements were not passed on to the graphics team, despite being advised by Amelia that this had been done. She also stated that a member of the team would call us (in addition to the email I received) to discuss any required adjustments prior to approval. However, it was later confirmed that the production team had not received my written and verbal notes, which contributed to the delay.

The stickers were eventually received, the text appeared slightly patchy compared to the original template, which was solid, suggesting some loss of clarity or inconsistency in the print process but the quality were overall acceptable.

Poor quality product, GDPR issues and lengthy delivery time

Generally a very poor experience. After two weeks, I had to chase delivery which still took a further week. Customer support was prompt, but their initial email reply somehow managed to include the names, email address, order number and in one case billing address and phone number of at least 5 other customers! I raised this as a GDPR concern but this was ignored.

The product eventually arrived, but the quality was poor. One label tore on being removed from the page and a number came off in the printer during the print process.

The Word template wasn't accurate either and needed adjustment.

I'll be using something else next time.

The labels as always are excellent and…

The labels as always are excellent and are fit for the purpose I use them for, giving me consistent results.
Delivery on this occasion was quite poor with the courier ramming them through the letterbox, causing damage to the folder the labels were enclosed inside and also causing the top 5 sheets to become dog earred. I have put the labels further down the pack hoping the the weight of the others will straighten them before printing. Not a fault of Avery or their products, just the delivery.
