The retailer in question has excellent reviews with "Avis verifies" - but very poor reviews on "Trustpilot" or other websites.
From an end customer perspective, it seems "Avis verifies" allow the retailer to filter reviews and manipulate their ratings - which is potentially misleading.
IMO, ratings from this "Avis verifies" are unreliable and website using this service could be willingly misleading consumers.

We use an active collection method, which means we automatically send an email to all consumers who have made a purchase on the websites of brands using our solution. This ensures that all reviews are authentic and reflect reality, as all customers—whether satisfied or dissatisfied—are invited to share their experience.
On voluntary review platforms, it is indeed easier to leave a review spontaneously, but there is no guarantee of the review’s origin, as someone who has not actually experienced the company could submit one.
Moreover, the sample is often much smaller, as only dissatisfied customers tend to take the time to create an account and leave a review. When the experience has been positive, customers usually do not take the time to write it everywhere.
Furthermore, it is important to remember that it is completely normal for a company to have a majority of satisfied customers; otherwise, it would not be able to sustain itself for long.

As a customer who has tried to write an honest review about a poorly received service, my reviews have constantly been rejected by the business I m writing. I cant believe for a second that this business has a 4.5 star review seeing how they have dealt with my complaints - everytime I have posted a review about them they keep telling me to reach out to their CS team for a happy resolution which leads to nowhere. 14 emails so far and nothing done. So as far as Avis verifies is concerned, its basically a "buy your positive reviews" website which misleads customers. Turst pilot and google reviews are showing a better representation of what I feel is the score this business deserves.

Disappointed After Years of Being Client
We’ve been clients of Verified Reviews for several years, but unfortunately, the experience has taken a disappointing turn. They pulled us into an annual commitment that auto-renews, locking us into $259/month for a service we hardly use or benefit from. Not only that, but said renewal went to a former employee, so there's no way for us to know or manage it. Even after years of being customers with them, they don't seem to care and are trying to renew our service just at a discounted rate!
Here’s why we’re unhappy:
Limited Value: We don’t use many of the features, and the ones we do engage with don’t justify the cost.
Restricted Review Transparency: Customer reviews are often displayed as "anonymous," which feels disingenuous. Additionally, they only consider ratings from the past year, which doesn't give a complete picture.
Glitchy Platform: The app experience is frustrating, with glitches that redirect us to different sites or languages, making it unnecessarily complicated to use.
Poor Customer Support: Their chat option lacks integrated AI for quick resolutions, there’s no live support, and responses from customer service are often delayed.
At $259/month, we expected much better. Sadly, it’s clear that Verified Reviews is not the right fit for us anymore. Maybe we would have considered returning in the future if business needs changed, but now we're left with such a bitter taste with how they're handling our cancelation request.

This is a scam. If you look at the site of Colli Privé it mentions a rating of 4.2/5 according to Avis Vérifiés. If you follow the URL you actually end up at a URL not at Avis Vérifiés but at Colli Privé. In fact, they can falsify the reviews as much as they want because it's on their website. You can't fool me in believing Colli Privé has over a million and a half reviews. Avis Vérifiés : if you were serious, you wouldn't let your "clients" host your branded pages. It's open to fraud which Colli Privé clearly is doing

Really useless idea of feedback
Really useless execution. Made only for standard situations to confirm standard opinions. Exactlythe opposite of what quality control management should be.
Now, obviously, I could make a long, detailed list of all that’s wrong or doesn’t work or why even the way the basic concept works is outdated but, this is THEIR job, why should I do volunteer to do it instead, for free?
I’ve now received a reply (may or may not be visible here), all this reply tells me is that they think they’re doing the perfect job and are so convinced they’ve got everything under control that they’re no longer able to see the big picture of why it’s all useless. The whole set-up is based on a misunderstanding of what customers need and expect. It is no surprise because their own Website makes exactly the same mistake as many of their clients’
Thankfully Trustpilot does NOT make the same mistake (which doesn’t mean it’s a choice they made, maybe it’s just fortunate that you can leave far more useful reviews on it than on rival websites which protect only their customers calling that being neutral.

I received email from Avis Verifies requesting my opinion about a purchase I'd made from a shop in France. Clicked the link in the email which took me to a site so that I could complete my review/opinion. The emails/site were in French, which I could mostly figure out (thank you, Google Translate, for what I couldn't figure out). I left them my review/opinion in English. Seems like a French version of Trustpilot.
I took one star off because I was originally contacted by Avis Verifies for my review/opinion long before I could offer one about customer care/delivery and the items that I purchased.

They asked me to give my 5-star opinion about a product I bought from a store. I gave it honestly and strictly referring to my user experience, delivery and after-sales.
My review wasn't obviously positive enough for them and they decided to refuse it. After the 10th iteration, I finally understood their point : they are paid by companies to collect good reviews to maximize their positive image presented to customers. This is therefore against a truly given verified opinion. This company is even worse than the one I bought a the bad product from.

There are multiple solutions of reviews like ours, some are free and with which it would be very simple to publish only what arranges the merchants. However, they make the choice to come to us, and this financial commitment is also an ethical commitment. Occasionally, poorly informed merchants are disappointed that negative reviews are not removed and threaten to leave. In 100% of cases, we let these customers leave rather than delete notices that we consider quite legitimate.

They don't process bad reviews of ecommerce website, when you have for instance a reseller for cheap parts instead of original of manufacturer parts, and their website looks like you're buying the original.
That reviewed website is good in marketing: it has good reviews on facebook, but only because all reviews were done on the same day. So probably they know many tricks how to fool user.

Extrême bias and censorship at Avis vérifiés
Avis vérifiés essentially asks you to engage in a multi -week back and forth debate with the company you are asked to review. For starters, no one in the world wants to do this. At best you want to leave a review and move on with your life, not go back and forth being censored and « moderated » ad nauseum. They allow the business to reject any bad review so it is a completely useless scam, stay well away from any business affiliated with Avis vérifiés. My bad experience was with one their clients: calicosy.com, who were able to reject all negative reviews. I was never offered a chance to review the product, and a review without any positive advice is considered off limits. But really, the notion that my experience can be usefully dissected into parts where my feelings about « the web site experience » versus my feelings about what I bought, is absolutely preposterous. The website And the experience I had on it, were, like every other website on the planet, totally unremarkable. I bought a thing. And it is the thing that counts, not my « shopping experience » or whatever mealy mouthed marketing garbage that Avis Vérifie pretends is relevant. In short, you cannot leave a review the company does not like it seems. The second review I tried to leave did not even mention the product nor what a piece of junk it was, but the company was allowed to censor it anyway, because they are the ones paying I suppose. I have nothing good to say so I am prevented from leaving a review at all. Both companies should be avoided at all costs, and Trustpilot actually allows you to offer a truthful evaluation of a transaction, whereasAvis vérifiés is only useful to aid the skewed public perception of their clients. I wish I could leave no stars!
