Vistry hired this Company to paint our 3 Storey House.
2-3 Week's work, yet it took over 3 Month's.
The first Painter (1 Painter for a three storey house!!) finally arrived without any paint brushes.When he finally started working he kept complaining he wouldn't make any money on this job. He lied to Avondale, ourselves and the Vistry representative about how many coats of paint he'd put on the property and what he had done also the hours he worked as he never did a full days work (that's when he actually turned up!)
Eventually he was sacked.
The next Painter turned up and was better but then the rot set in with him not turning up.
The third Painter (Tom) was brilliant.
Mark Mitchell hardly ever turned up for any of the Meetings with ourselves and Vistry.
The house was supposed to be soft washed (to get rid of dirt and road smut) but Mark Mitchel said it didn't need it!!
Some of the paint is now flaking off.
Mark Mitchell informed Vistry he would get in touch with the "Dulex Guy" and find out why the paint is flaking off,yet no Dulex Paint was used on the Property.
The Paint is flaking off due to bad preparation and painting on top of Dirt, although Vistry are trying to say it is because of pooling water.
Avondale does not issue Guarantees (they didn't on our Property)for the work they do, so beware.
