really good quality products at a good price

Delivered within 2 days of ordering - excellent! Just one thing - it would have been nice to be informed they were going to deliver the fence panel before they turned up at the door.

Fast and furious.
A very rapid response to my order of fence panels following recent storms, and surprised that they had panels in stock. Delivered within three days.

Ordered 2fence panels from AVS at Havant on February 25th but they only had the 6 x5 in stock the 6x6 was on their back order non available due to storm damage , I said that I would pay for the 6foot fence panel and when the new stock came in then drop one off for me , I queried wether it would incur a further delivery charge , guess what , YES IT WOULD ANOTHER £20 , that’s not good for a business to do this to its customers another words it’s a rip off , plus I ordered some other bits n pieces I needed to repair my fences , the young lady was very polite and helpful with my order , I said about delivery my address came under zone one with a delivery charge stated online at £12 for my area ,BUT she then said it was £20 delivery charge I queried this and said it was £12 advertised online , she explained that AVS had been taken over by LAWSONS so the delivery charge was as she stated , I said that’s not very good and it should have been amended online felt that was underhand way of charging , not blaming her personally as she was so nice but someone needed to sort this problem out and not let the customers think they have been ripped off , that’s why I’ve only given 3 stars , normallly would have given 5stars ..

Excellent service and a great selection of products. The team are always friendly and happy to help. I always enjoy a visit to AVS Havant.

Very very late and expensive delivery (8 weeks!) with a lot missing from order and once the rest was delivered the product was in very poor condition!!
I would 100% NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! The more people know about this the better!!

Materials were easy to order online and delivered within the timescale given. Driver unloaded exactly where I wanted. Always use AVS as they delivery the job perfectly.

Delivered shortly after ordered, excellent quality fence panels

This store could be a lot better than it actually is. Well meaning staff are let down by troublesome computer systems and poorly and even unlabeled timber stocks. I paid upfront for click & collect. Desk staff had difficulty retrieving my order from their system, both on collection and previously when I telephoned to check the goods were ready (which I did because AVS failed to notify me by email). Yard staff then led me to the wrong stock. After pointing this out I was shown the right size items but then told they had all been sold. I was told I had to place an order. I said I had already paid in advance and that quite possibly part of the sold stock had actually been sold to me. Significantly, none of the stock I was shown had been labeled, either for size or to indicate that it had already been sold. Yard staff appeared to be working on the basis of their own private knowledge of the stock rather than in conjunction with the computerised stock control system. I was then asked for a stock collection ticket and I said I had not been given one by the desk. This was an error by the front desk and one that I did not feel was my responsibility to correct. The operative then checked with the front desk and at last the item I had previously paid for was retrieved for me.
We got there in the end but this was a cloying, time-consuming and entirely avoidable experience, and not the first such occurrence at this store.

Initial indication of low stock levels at Havant site was concerning but my order was fulfilled by helpful sales team. Slight breakdown in communications over updating me that order was ready. Good quality products delivered to the door. I would recommend this company and use them again.

A very convenient location for obtaining materials for my fencing project. However, the prohibitive minimum £500 order for free delivery limits what I can carry in my estate car. For fence panels, not easy to carry in an estate car, I’ve purchased elsewhere as they offer free delivery for a tenth of the price. Obviously the business is geared to service the larger project so perhaps the future patio will qualify for free delivery.

Gave four stars for one reason when materials were ordered i was given a seven to ten day time scale for delivery,so i was surprised when early next morning a delivery man at my door with my order, normally this would be great but i was'nt ready for the delivery and storage had not been arranged.apart from that a great service.

All items were in stock and was able to collect next working day
