First time customer and very impressed with Henfield branch. Good quality product and good service. Definitely will use again.

Always excellent quality and delivery.
They confirm the order but then do not contact us until it is ready for delivery, a few days usually for fencing, but they always deliver within the promised time.

My order arrived exactly when it was supposed to, & was complete. What more can you ask? I've used AVS in the past, & will certainly be using them again.

Used AVS Fencing before lock down
There fencing is substandard especially the posts which twisted! Even the 4” X 4” which I've never seen before

AVS are fully aware of this even calling me to ask why I’d not used my account -again explained
Nothing? Must have been 4 times either left a message or speaking with them but still not bothered
Having had the timber inspected (Not via AVS) its been
advised THAT THE TIMBER HAS BEEN GROWN TOO QUICKLY which has now resulted in this problem
I can only assume they know this? as any decent company would offer a solution ??
So My business buys elsewhere and i’d advise people to do likewise

Also when i visited the Henfield depot after around 25 phone calls and messages a guy on a forklift laughed at me saying you’re lucky others had called 50 times???
The depot was closed at this time for customers and only delivering - some chance when they don’t answer the phone
What a joke! Bit late now the damage is done and would expect others over last year to have similier experiences?
Or perhaps I’m just lucky and the only one they ignore
We now us TP who are brilliant and offer excellent service

Just so you know when this was written
Actually your response is the first we have received in 18 months and does indeed relate to an order from 18 months ago (Rather than at the time?)
It also relates to a order placed by a NEW customer
A customer who after 2 months experienced failure in your products and for the following 2 months tried contacting you without any reply
If I had the time I would actually find my phone bills and post them
We called you between 50-60 times in total both Henfield and your head office
We left voicemails and messages as nobody answered the phone?
We visited your Henfield branch and received a very rude and ignorant response when we expressed our frustration
Totally uninterested that we had a complaint
So basically we appeased our customer at “our” cost

Some time later I received a call from your accounts department (Lady) who asked why we’d not used our account recently???
I personally took the time to give the lady the story/chance (I didn’t really have the time) to rebuild bridges I also mentioned Mark the manager we had dealt with so I thought it might at least have one relevance
The lady said she would pass on my message and get Mark to call us
Surprise surprise nothing?? (I wasn't really surprised)
This hasn’t been my Imagination nor do I expect the customer to be appeased as we have taken care of that many months ago
But it would appear that this platform actually stimulates responses as I have found recently with another poor responding company
You might think you have a glowing customer service level from those who give reviews but I can tell you many who experience poor service don't bother putting up reviews as they receive responses such as yours

When someone does take that time it gives a company a chance to put things right in some part
Apologise for missing a service level that they might promote?! Even offering some temptation to that “lost” customer which might in some way bridge and mend that poor experience
It is unfortunate that you don't see it in that way? Perhaps new customers aren’t of value to AVS??
I can tell you that in the last 12-14 months we have been using your competitors such as TP & Alsford timer
Spending many thousands of pounds

The fact you have just dismissed the above even after requesting my contact details is and isn't surprising and put smiles one our current suppliers faces who have gone above and beyond in such tough times even with some bums along the way which have been sorted in a few days

I would suggest you read and digest this as you’re not so perfect and do make mistakes as do we all

Placed the order, collected the posts the following day. Everything worked well plus it was an enjoyable drive through the countryside to the branch at Henfield.

Ordered online in the morning, delivered in the afternoon.
OK - I wasn't expecting it that quickly but it's still an indication of their efficiency.

Good quality items, fast turnaround and very accommodating when requests are made.

They kept me informed while we waited for stock, then when one of the boards were damaged in delivery, they replaced it as soon as possible.

Turned my order around really quickly and delivery was spot on. Very easy to deal with and the website is good too, easy to order and explains fencing terminology to a novice (me!).

Unexpected delivery of our order, as we thought we would have to wait a few days. It came the next day! So promptly and efficiently. Thankyou
