Don’t use this company

Don’t use this company , Right from the start we had problems. They never answer the phone, take ages to answer an email, if they read them at all. Our house sale was so stressful because of this company. When it should of been so straight forward.

AVOID AVOID AVOID ….

Failure to be truthful re submission of property searches, failure to respond to emails & requests for information / updates.
Not answering any form of communication leading to ongoing delays and subsequent breakdown in chains and significant cost to those in the chain.
I am unable to provide anything positive about Axis professional and would suggest they are avoided at all cost.
Simply providing any information or submission of process was impossible, even forgetting to process local authority searches yet creating the impression it had been done.
Could not have been any worse and even escalation failed to trigger a response.

been trying to get hold of our so…

been trying to get hold of our so called solicitor for 2 days sent numerous emails and left countless messages and still nothing , we have completed our sale 3 weeks ago but they haven't paid the monies out to whom they are supposed to and we are being chased , cant get hold of anyone nobody answers any phone lines at they are holding onto our money and we cant get it back . I wouldn't have touched them if they hadn't been suggested by our estate agent , should have known it would turn out bad as the estate agents (Bridgfords ) were terrible too

AVOID

AVOID at all costs. Have they been 'suggested' by your estate agent? Then please don't bother.
No communication. Wasted 9 weeks and then had to switch to a decent firm. A complete waste of time.
The handy app, which I thought was showing progress, was in fact showing nothing at all and caused confusion.
A complete dead end.

Impersonal, uncommunicative and stressful

If you’d like for your conveyancing experience to be stressful, impersonal and your repeated requests for an update and indication of completion dates to be met with holding messages about their heavy workload, go with Axis.

If you let Bridgfords estate agents convince you they have some influence or “special relationship” when you market your house and use their recommended conveyancer, you will be disappointed. Prepare to turn into some kind of intermediary for both sets of estate agents to question. You will field enquiries regarding why Axis cannot provide a comprehensive update. You will have the upward chain threaten to pull out. You will do this around working full time, parenting and if you’re really unlucky like me, caring for your mum having chemo.

Why didn’t I use solicitors I know and worked for? I thought it would be quicker keeping agents and conveyancer linked. It’s rapidly going to go down the route of a long, boring complaint that nobody has any desire for but if that’s the only way to get proper timely responses, it’ll have to go that way. Lesson learned.

If they manage to turn things around I’ll be back to change my review to reflect that. At the moment, I’m not holding out much hope. Sale start date was 10 October… that’s 124 days or 17 weeks 5 days and counting…

Sold our property using Axis Professional

Sue Curzon from Axis Professional was brilliant. She kept us informed at every step of the way negotiating various antics from buyers, estate agents and other solicitors.

It wasn’t an easy sale, lasting well over a year but Sue provided reassurance and advice. I would use Sue again in a heartbeat and would wholeheartedly recommend others to do so.
