Customer Service on Cancelling phone

I signed up with Axvoice thinking that my present service was stopping. That turned out to be a scam and was not stopping. I contacted Axvoice to cancel their service, explaining what had happened. They were very helpful and cancelled my service and refunded my payment. This is an honest company. I would not hesitate to do business with them in the future.

Avoid AxVoice—Unreliable Service & Zero Customer Support

I regret signing up for AxVoice. Initially, everything seemed fine, but after just three months, my account was suspended due to an alleged "failure to pay"—even though I had already paid in full for an annual subscription.

The call quality is inconsistent, with calls dropping after 15 minutes—making it unreliable for important conversations. There’s also a noticeable 10-second delay after dialing before the call even begins to ring.

Their customer support is nonexistent. They advertise a live chat option, but it does not exist—you get redirected back to their website. The only way to contact them is through a webform, which they never respond to.

Before signing up, check their BBB rating—they have a history of unresolved complaints and poor business practices. If you run into issues, don’t expect help. Once they have your payment, you're on your own.

Would not recommend AxVoice to anyone looking for reliable VoIP service. Proceed with caution!

AXVoice FROM JUNE 2024 TO PRESENT

I AM 82 YEARS OLD. I signed up with AXVoice sometime in June 2024. It has been money, money, money and NEVER was able to receive ONE incoming call or make an outgoing call. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH MY NEW NUMBER I CHOSE, SHOWING AS ACTIVE. I GAVE THE NUMBER TO PEOPLE AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT CAPITAL ONE CREDIT CARD HAD ANSWERED THE CALL SO THEY CALLED MY CELL PHONE. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL VOIP PHONES BUT NONE AS BAD. THEY DON'T TRY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS THEY JUST CANCEL YOUR PHONE AND KEEP BILLING YOU. I SUSPECT THEY OPERATE FROM SOME FOREIGN COUNTRY. USE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION. THEY ALL HAVE THEIR OWN UNIQUE PROBLEMS AS I HAVE EXPERIENCED OVER 25 YEARS.

MY ADVICE IS TO RESEARCH ANY CONSIDERATION OF SERVICE BY A PROVIDER THAT HAS A CUSTOMER SERVICE WHERE YOU CAN DISCUSS YOUR PROBLEM WITH A PERSON, NOT A BOT OR HAVE TO WRITE YOUR PROBLEMS ON A SERVICE SUBMISSION PAGE. THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SOLVE SIMPLE PEOBLEMS THAT THEY CREATE. ZERO STARS, DEAL WITH SOMEONE THAT HAS A PERSON TO COMMUNICATE WITH. I BELIEVE THAT IS A REQUIREMENT OF THE FCC IN THE USA.

I AM SURE IT IS ALL MY FAULT BECAUSE OF MY AGE AND SPEAK ONLY AMERICAN ENGLISH, AND I HATE TO WRITE REVIEWS OF THIS TYPE.

The actual service is ok but their customer service is nonresponsive.

I want to cancel my service and port my number to a different provider. I've emailed multiple times with no response.

Live chat does not work and the number you find by googling does not appear to be a business line (VM is not set up and no one ever answers)

Turn around in opinion

I previously posted a bad review but since then they have responded to my situation and then found the problem. I am all squared away and happy. Since a re passed on to Axvoice I wanted them to know and I can recommend them to my friendds .

Their support is non-existent unless you're sending money their way. Otherwise bupkiss.
Cheap equipment that definitely does not work with T-Mobile internet.
Avoid them and save time, money and aggravation.

No customer service at all

No customer service at all. NO phone number to call them. Little to none response on support tickets, sent notice to cancel within 10 days of sign up, so they won't refund any money for any reason! Cancelled service immediately when they did not port our old existing number. They assigned us a number we did not choose, after we had tried the number we chose and it worked, then another number showed up on account. NO account numbers issued. Waiting now to see what happens as we have sent many tickets on their support site to cancel. No LIVE CHAT! sends us back to the front page, not chat! RUN AWAY from these people. Reporting them to BB too.

Thieves

Thieves. For several months the phone would not work. I contacted support several times. No answer. I asked for refund several times for no service. Automatic charges continued. Then I wrote an email asking for refunds and cancellation. Within hours, my account was cancelled with no refund.

System is Rigged to Charge You More than Advertised

When I signed up ~15 years ago, it was for $5 a month if you paid a year up front. The first rip off trick they use is that after 12 months they will start to bill you $18/ month if you don’t remember to call them to renew for another year. Do they send you any reminder that your 12 months are expiring? No. By the time you realize it, they’ve already charged you $54….sorry, no refunds…our billing service has no way to automatically renew you at the 12 month rate. The other rip off trick they use is when you cancel, they charge you $40 for equipment you don’t have, as stated by another reviewer. In my case the equipment would be over 15 years old if I did have it. Avoid AX Voice!

Charged for Imaginary Equipment

I was with axvoice for a year and a half. They were pretty cheap and we didn't need the phone much. When we decided to cancel they charged me $48 for equipment I never received because I was on the bring your own equipment plan. In their terms and conditions they have it listed that they can charge you for anything they deem appropriate which I guess includes imaginary equipment. Buyer beware!!!

Scam service

Garbage. You sign up on the website and they mail you a cheap piece of hardware. If it didn't get programed right you're out of luck. You can't contact anyone at the company for help and you can't cancel the service because they don't respond to emails. And that's the only way to give to contact them. It's a scam.

Axvoice deserves no higher than -10 !!!!! The worst possible phone service. $15 per month but $1 per year in useful service. Re-boot box before EVERY CALL. These jokers will only reply to email... if you are lucky and pray a lot. I've decided to curse a lot and tell the world to RUN FROM AXVOICE!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS UNLESS YOU ENJOY COMPLETE LIES AND NONSENSE!!!!

Don't waste time & money

No Live Customer Support

When I signed up for AxVoice, the provided phone adapter provided good call quality with no noticeable delay. However, I changed from DSL to Fiber internet and the new modem no longer made outgong calls. This exposed the problem with AxVoice: Truely terrible customer support. There is no live phone number to call for live customer support and the email support is very limited.

Customer service $UCKS! Tried to sign up and had a problem - contacted customer service and total CRAP!
They don't need or want new customers! Certainly happy that my failure to sign up - the tech support must be as screwed up! No phone numbers available and they can't call you - they must be running out of a $hit house somewhere in Russia!

I've had them for years

I've had them for years; maybe 5... with 2 lines. They have been ok. 1 normal ported # and 1 cheapo account with new #.

I did eventually get tech support by email and it was ok and resolved. Just do not ever have your credit card expire and then you can't activate the new card because the phone died! I guess it's fine for the price... I don't call out much but when I do and I talk too long it seems to cut my call suddenly if I go more than 20 minutes yet when people call me it never cut out (could be VOIP to land line issue.)

My main problem at this point is that I need SMS for 2-factor and they say nothing about this feature ever happening; they should at least point us to somebody who can add that feature on the website.
