It will be no exaggeration to say that Ms. Diana Todirica and AY&J solicitors were the best things to happen to me this year.

I was unhappily continuing with my previous solicitors despite an ILR refusal based on tax discrepancies from an earlier Tier 1 application.
However, as it transpired, because of my previous solicitors' negligence in filing my appeal, I was temporarily suspended from work due to a negative ECS check and nearly lost my job (despite having 3C leave).

My then fiance (and now husband) decided that we would not lose anything by getting a second opinion, and rang AY&J solicitors in the end of Apr 2019. We were put in touch with Ms. Todirica, and all it took was a 60 minute consultation to realise the life-altering difference proper legal advice can make.

We quickly instructed AY& J solicitors and wasted no time, upon Diana's recommendation, in bringing forward our wedding date.
We haven't the words to express our gratitude, because just as Diana had predicted, we heard from the First Tier Tribunal (re a hearing) within days of the instruction. Diana had clearly detailed the pros and cons of pursuing the appeal versus switching to a Spouse visa, which made it easy for my husband and I to decide to switch to a Spousal application.

Over the following 3 weeks, we collated all the evidence that Diana had asked us to send. It would be remiss of me if I didn't highlight the attentiveness and painstaking detail that went into amending and improving the supporting statements and evidence that eventually formed my bundle - Ms. Todirica and Ms. Masood (another AY&J caseworker who was assigned to me at the application submission stage) were not only in touch with me the whole time, any doubts or questions I had were immediately answered.

AY&J submitted my visa application via UKVI's online link on 5th June 2019 and after a premium service appointment on 7th June, I received my BRP on 11th June 2019!

There are no words that would do justice to the difference AY& J solicitors have made to my life. I haven't gone into detail, but Diana even helped me extricate myself from my previous solicitors (who came up with trumped up figures of outstanding fees when I informed them that I was going to switch).

I cannot recommend AY&J highly enough: they are no doubt a very professional firm of solicitors, but they haven't forgotten the importance of treating their clients with kindness and compassion.
They recognise that immigration decisions affect people's lives and emotional state, and in my opinion, their approach embodies Maya Angelou's quote: "people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel".

I’ve recently got my ILR through AY&J solicitors and my experience with them was nothing short of first class. Diana and Charlotte both dealt with my application in a very very professional manner and the whole experience was fantastic and easy.

From gathering all information to preparing the application, they made everything clear as crystal which obviously makes the caseworkers life easier. Hence the application can be processed easily.

I have to say special thanks to Charlotte for bearing with all my phone calls. I know I could be a bit over cautious (due to my bad previous HO experiences) and that could be annoying, but she was so so calm and gentle. Special credits for her attention to detail. It certainly helped.

Diana was very prompt is responding to my emails and clarified my questions in no time.

For fellow people who are reading this review, these are not the cheapest solicitors in London but trust me it is worth paying that extra money to avoid all that trouble from HO, without having to wait for months or having bad immigration history.

In short, without exaggeration, Charlotte and Diana both are simply amazing. I would refer AY&J solicitors for anyone without a shadow of doubt.

My experience with AY&J was absolutely pleasant from step 1. I did an application for Tier1 Entrepreneur for myself and my family and was successful lightening quick without even an interview! I was at such a loss trying to get a leave to remain visa. I had been trying for months and months to get a premium appointment - waking up at 6 and signing it at midnight - to no avail. I couldn’t stay here without working so I needed one and then found AY & J Solictors. They helped me immediately. Diana was my lawyer and she was dedicated and fast. Honest and direct, but also caring and kind. I would recommend them to anyone in my situation. It’s expensive, but I don’t regret spending that money for a minute.
