I have been purchasing refurbished phones and devices from BackMarket since 2020. Never have I experienced any issues with the service or the devices. Some of my devices have been passed on to other people and are still being used. I love being able to trade in my device and replace it with another.

Just upgraded my kiddos iPhone from 12 mini to a 14 pro. She was so happy and it came just as I selected.

Purchasing was smooth and phone came fast. Submitting grade-in has been clunky and seems like a slow process. I waited for box and shipping kit that was supposed to be coming my way for quite some time, and have just sent it on my own. Seems like this could be used against me if my used phone I’m going to get credit for doesn’t arrive in time to make it by offer good until date.

This is the fifth thing i have purchased on backmarket and each time I am pleasantly surprised. Save a ton of money and reuse old equipment that is no longer loved, it is great!

Excellent communications that try to describe clearly what the deal is and their importance of ensuring their customers understand it. Rapid responses too . They let the benefits of the refurbished exchange sell itself without a glossy pitch.

UPDATE: Even though BackMarket did honor a refund after I complained, it's still not enough to mitigate or compensate the damage done to me by buying the defective product. The seller refused to return the SSD and I lost all my data. It isn't my fault for not backing it up because the computer wouldn't turn on unexpectedly, and I couldn't retrieve the SSD before sending it back because that would void the warranty. When I asked to mitigate data loss by having the SSD returned, Back Market had a canned response about "policy" ignoring my needs as the customer. Plus, I ended up spending $700 more to purchase a laptop of equivalent specs because neither the seller nor BackMarket would honor replacing the laptop with an equivalent one. I don't plan to buy anything from BackMarket again because of this experience.
They allow scammers like Iconic Micro to sell on their platform and scam people out of money with defective refurbished products that they then refuse to repair/replace/refund with BS "reasons".

My laptop stopped powering on. I sent it to Iconic Micro for warranty repair. First they told me over the phone that dust in the fans caused the failure. Then in their written email they changed it to oxidation eroding the fans which is a completely different explanation.

Neither makes sense. Fans don't even spin up until after a laptop has already powered on. Dusty or seized fans cannot cause a power-on failure. That's not how computers work.

The photos they sent me show normal household dust. That's nothing that constitutes neglect or abuse. Yet they refused to repair, replace, or refund the device, and directed me back to the marketplace I purchased from.

They still have my laptop. Avoid this company. They are scammers and the low prices are for the reason that they are selling defective refurbished goods and then refusing to honor warranty when you discover it's defective.

I bought an iPhone 14. Phone arrived quickly and in the described condition. It is up and running and working fine.

I have been purchasing from BackMarket now for about 6 or 7 years.
I have never, ever had an issue.
The one time I did have a problem, was because I made the mistake.
I love the one year warranty. I had to get a phone replaced because it wouldn't charge and the process was smooth and easy.

Great product at a good price. Totally satisfied so far. No problems.

Bought a well-priced good condition HP all-in-one. Delivery was early. Packed very, very well. Two-weeks in and everything is working great. I bought a refurbed laptop from Best Buy before and the battery has been terrible. This one from Back market is a much better quality and about $200 cheaper than the same deal on Best Buy.

Laptop was in excellent shape, no marks or scratches. Appeared like new. Works well.
