Cake was delicious and better than I expected! Enjoyed every bite!
What an awful experience. Tried to order a cake for my sister's birthday. Told it would arrive by 12/30. No arrival no follow up from them nothing until 1 PM on 12/31 when I contact them and staff indicates that cake will not be arriving in time for the birthday. No offer of any alternative to get cake there for the birthday and told management is out of the office so unable to address the situation. Finally with no alternative I accepted a refund (which ironically will also not arrive in time for the birthday). Truly a horrid situation where company personnel lacked empathy, caring or concern. A company I will avoid doing business with in the future.
It got there on time. Other than that I have no idea..they are a gift….so, I have no first hand knowledge of the product.
The sweets were awful! Very poor quality! The ingredients were inferior. Do not waste your money. Treats were dried up , small bites ( sample size). Ugh. The treats came boxed in a wood box that looked like it was for an urn!
I am abroad, so I shopped for a custom birthday cake to send to my son.
Of the "birthday cake" options, I chose Victoria Sponge, and they let me write down what I wanted the cake to read.
This was $75 to have one small cake delivered, but since it was special, I accepted that.
The cake arrived with zero writing or decoration. When I complained that I could have sent six grocery store cakes for that price, they responded that decoration isn't an option for that cake. Even though it was listed under Birthday cakes and they asked for the details to write.
I feel robbed. DON'T FALL FOR THIS!!! Buy a local cake. This is a ripoff.
I love the cookies/cakes ect, the only reason I gave 3 stars is because the cost of the cake ect is the same as the shipping .
We ordered multiple pies for employees at work for Thanksgiving. I had two of the apple pies. The first one we opened was beautiful, but bland and flavorless.
The second one that we opened a few days later was moldy. Just not a great experience.
Great communication, a well packed lemon meringue pie, staying cool all the way from New York to CA.
Do not ever buy from this company as they list products that actually aren't available and they don't tell you till last minute for your delivery that it's out of stock but yet they have no problem taking your money and placing your order then they say sorry but can we switch it out for something else , used to be a regular customer till they pulled this and I even placed my order weeks prior to delivery date and they still took my money for a product they don't have and wait till the day to say sorry we don't have it. So when I complained and filed a complaint to the better business bureau since I told them no replacement of another product that I want my money back since they post products that don't have I stock then they locked me out of my account since I busted them out with the truth , there are other companies that don't lie and actually have what you want in stock take your business elsewhere as I have as well , really , plus there prices are way overpriced as well
Super late cake order and couldn’t have had my son’s third bday party without them and the cake!!!!!!!!! Ty ty sooooooooo much!!!! I WILL be using yall again!!!!!
Finally got there for her surprise. Wish it had been earlier in the day, but she was grateful it arrived before her party!
I tried several times to get an estimated time this cake would be delivered. While it did come early in the day, it was left on the front porch ON ITS SIDE and no one rang the bell to let anyone know it was there! My daughter was heading out and hasn’t been able to open it yet—but what a shame if it’s damaged and it’s her birthday cake.
My Daughter and Son in law said it was lovely .
They enjoyed the cake thoroughly.
Well done 🤩
Beyond furious that my son's 21st birthday cake has been "lost" and despite HOURS of emailing, bot chatting, FB messaging we CANNOT get hold of anyone to help. The cake is AWOL and UPS won't help either. For a $70 cake I expected better service - not ONE reply to my customer care emails, case numbers or anything. Where TAF is the cake!? That's all we want to know so it can be collected. APPALLING SERVICE.
I ordered the cake sampler for my son's birthday; it has three chocolate variates and one carrot cake. The cakes looked fine but unfortunately this order arrived very dry. To be fair it may be that it had to spend an entire day in the heat of a UPS truck before evening delivery. At this price, however, I'm not willing to give it another try since we have no control over when UPS delivers to us.
My family loved both cakes! I sent my Father in New York a tiramisu cake and lemon cello cake for his birthday, I am in Florida, my family and dad loved them… I will order from Bake Me A Wish again
honestly, honestly, I'm thankful that there was a place where I could buy a cake that they could ship so quickly. We had a wonderful celebration. The packaging was very lovely, and the cake had a really good, fresh taste. Will return here for sure!
Handling
1. Cake arrived damaged at the top.
2. Personalised message was almost unreadable due to damage at the top.
3. Cake was dropped on the floor in the receivers mail room without alerting the receiver about delivery. (at least ring a bell, the Apt number was put on the delivery address), and this is a consumable item, very unprofessional way of handling consumable.
4 Cake left unattended on the floor ( i was so pissed by this)
Delivery / Item received
1. Cake arrived on time withing stipulated time frame.
2. Cake was as described.
it was a gift so i do not know the quality.
Easy to order, prompt delivery it was a gift so I do not know the quality and the person I sent it to didn’t comment.
