I have used this on a couple of rides so far, it's much nicer to use than my old Edge Explore 1, if you like gadgets this if a fun little thing. The price from Balfe's was the best I could find at the time.

Having survived on an cycling apps for a long period of time, I watched YT videos of the new 840 and but the bullet and bought it. I was shocked to find that its GPS is pants. It tells you you're on a climb which is just rollin road and then then you're on a 'proper' climb it either doesnt recognise it OR tells you've completed it when you are 50% of the way through it with the hardest bit left. I contacted Garmin why said please sync to Garmin Express,... NO DIFFERENT!!... in short, waste of money as far as i'm concerned.
