Definitely as solid and secure a lock as you’ll find. Let down by limiting versatility due to dimensions. It won’t lock frame and back wheel of my ebike togethers to bike stand. Meaning a 2nd lock is needed increasing the weight you carry.

At first glance they're expensive, common sense states that compared to your investment into an E-bike they represent a fraction of that investment to correctly protect your bike. I researched the so-called competition before purchasing the Hip-Lok DX1000's, I bought 2, and I can confidently say that £600 to protect £20k's worth of bikes represents extraordinary value for money, as they are Diamond Secure my insurance company agrees, teamed with the Hiplox AX1000 secured to my garage floor the whole package delivers exceptional security and value for money, but more than that, peace of mind. I can thoroughly recommend Hip-Lok and Balfes Bikes.
